Is there a security setting that prevents .EXEs from being run from a Projector on a CD in Win7?

I created a Flash Projector for a client and burned it to a CD. There is a button on it that uses fscommand to run the Adobe Acrobat installer from the CD and also one that installs a screensaver to the computer.
The client says they can't get either of those two buttons to work on a Windows 7 machine.
I have Win7 64-bit on the computer that I created the Projector on and it works fine for me and I also have Win7 32-bit on my laptop and it works there as well. The only thing I can think is that I turn a lot of the security setting in Windows 7 off such as "User Account Control".
Would that be what is preventing the .EXEs from working on their Windows 7 machines?

Locking the phone via the lock screen does not prevent you from restoring the phone, you'll need to be able to do so if you forget the passcode: iPhone and iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
And I don't think that other smartphones offer that feature you're looking for.

Is there a phone setting that prevents me from hearing people I call or who call me?

My wife and I bought our new iPhone 5's yesterday. They worked just fine yesterday. Today, her's is still okay, but not mine. When I make or receive calls, I can't hear the other person. They can hear. I just can't hear them. The same thing happens with voice mail. I can see the call going through on the screen, but I can't hear anything. We're new to iPhones and we did change some settings, but I don't see anything that would fix this problem.
Also, I can hear the keypad when dialing a number, but I can't hear a dial tone.
Other features of my phone seems to be working okay.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Is there some file setting that prevents the Image Processor from resizing?

Problem:
Some jpg images can't be resized using the Image Processor. I'm guessing there may be some setting (?) that prevents resizing but i can't find it. The images run through the Image Processor but retain their original size.
Platform:
Windows XP Pro, SP2
Photoshop CS4, Bridge CS4
What i tried:
- i looked at the file info in Bridge - nothing apparent there that would cause the problem
- the file attributes in Windows only have the archive bit set (they are NOT read only)
- when i run the Image Processor either from Bridge or Photoshop the picture remains its original size
- i have tried many combinations in the Image Processor dialog box, e.g. Convert Profile to sRGB, Include ICC Profile, etc. (i DO have the Resize to fit check box checked)
- i can resize the photo manually in Photoshop
- some photos work, some don't
- many of the photos were edited on Roxio on my wife's computer, renamed in Bridge and then copied over to my computer

Is there a setting that prevents you from moving into the next "set?"

A couple times I have mistakenly hit my "next patch" button one too many and ended up in the next set. This is a problem because the backing track that was playing suddenly stops because I am in the next set, understandably.
Is there a setting or mapping that I can use so I can't enter the next set using the "next patch" button and only use the "next set" button.
Any ideas out there???

Forget the physical controller button for a moment, that's a red herring.
I have a single button on the screen that for SOME PATCHES ONLY, has the action "Current Program Number" associated with it. In the "Map Parameter" area, there are two sliders for which you set values for "Button On" and Button Off". Those get set to the same value, which is the value of the patch to which you want to go next.
So suppose you have patch 1 and in that batch, the aforementioned button has its values set to 5, then if you press that button WHEN YOU ARE IN PATCH 1, then you will switch to patch 5. Now, further suppose that in patch 5, that same button has its values set for patch 12. Then pressing that button WHEN YOU ARE IN PATCH 5, will take you to patch 12.
Now, if you go into learn mode and associate that screen button with a physical controller button, then you can do exactly the same thing by pressing that physical button. The patch to which you will go will depend on which patch is currently active. If the last patch in that chain doesn't have any values associated with the button, then pressing that button (via your controller) will do nothing at all.
I suppose that if you're concerned with hitting that controller button by mistake, then you might actually want to have two buttons, one that takes you to the next patch in your chain, the other to the previous.

I keep getting this warning message on random pages, including AOL Mail, and Android Central Forums, after recent Firefox updates. I can't click this message off, and it locks the entire browser. Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.

As you can see this is first of a text messaging based social engineering technique that attempt to get you to bite on a false statement to allow them entry in your ohone. On top of which as Razmee209 says you don't have to worry about unless your phone is jailbroken. A non-jailbroken iPhone will not be effect if you are suckered into the bite of the attack.

The device has an 8GB drive for caching streamed meida, a small portion of that is used to temporarily store photos for the screensaver. It may vary depending on resolution etc but it seems to be around 100.

You can drop the resolution a little, but it makes everything blurry.
OS X isn't as friendly like Windows is to give some UI adjustment, one of many major complaints about the platform that has gone unheeded for years now.
As a lifelong Mac user who's eyes are going due to age, I'm really liking Windows 7 more and more every day.
If you use Firefox, NoSquint and Theme Font & Size Changer add-ons, with a nice persona that makes better contrast, tweak the FF toolbars, you can at least make your web surfing tolerable on Mac's.
Also you can set a Control key in System Preferences > Universal Access plus a scroll wheel mouse, if you need to zoom in/out certain areas of OS X, however for a pernament UI scale solution there is none that's practical, unless you have a large room, a projector and a smooth wall.
A larger monitor won't work up close neither, however dropping the resolution and sitting back a bit might sharpen the images a bit.
The UI really needs to be adjustable and it's not.

Thanks for taking the time to try to help me. . I checked and the Do not disturb is off. The check is still there stopping calls from coming in when phone is locked. Any other ideas? Thanks again!

Firefox says that I have a firewall that prevents me from connecting to Internet?

I´ve used Firefox for a while now and I was really happy until now it just won´t work any more. When i try to connect to Internet with firefox I get a message "Connection failed" My firewall is preventing me from connecting according Firefox. But I´ve really done everything from turning my Firewall off and it still doesn´t work. I do not have any antivirus thats preventing Firefox from connecting. Internet Explorer still works perfect though.
Please, could someone help me because i don´t want to use Internet Explorer.

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select ''No Proxy'
Another possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.

How difficult would it be to write a code that prevents sites from changing your homepage wtihout u knowing it happened?

Today I had the unhappy experience of a company or site I visited that installed three programs I didn't want. I uninstalled all of them in windows control panel (]remove programs). This however did not solve my problem.....no matter what I did I could not get startpage to come back. I did many things like go to tools and options and type it in close out and open and it was still not there. Finally my grandson uininstalled Firefox and reinstalled it and it was back.
My question is: Can you not write a code in the software that prevents this from happening and when people install Firefox ask them if they want this feature or write an ad on. Please this problem grows every day it gets worse. Before all you had to do is change it back now one can not get rid if it so easily.
We really would love this feature ask anyone.
