Is there a short cut key/command to repeat the last action?

In excel Alt F4 (I think) repeats your last action. I can't find a similar command or short cut key in numbers. Can anyone help me?

Numbers is not a clone of Excel. I doesn't share the Microsoft philosophy which include every asked feature.
Apple engineers carefully select what may be added and what must remain as dreams/wishes.

Your question was confusing because of your non-standard and somewhat misleading terminology. (For one thing, you're referring to the Timeline panel, not the Layer panel, which is a very different thing.) Certainly when whatever object gains focus, it's there when I expand the collapsed panel. So my guess is that one possibility is mitpancha is asking if there is a shortcut for expanding a collapsed Properties panel.
According to the Window menu Shift+Control+D should open it. But that doesn't seem to happen here on my own setup. Not sure why.

Is there a short cut=key stroke that will make APPLE logo?

Would like to have this in my signature in Apple Mail.

In the International Preference the Keyboard Viewer will show what various key-combinations will produce.
If you have the International icon on your Finder menu bar (a flag icon), pull it down and select Keyboard Viewer (you might need to check Keyboard Viewer in the System Preferences/International pane).
Hold down various combinations of modifier keys (like shift-option) and it will show all the letters/symbols that can be produced. Holding the shift option keys it will show the “k” is the Apple logo.

Is there a Short cut Key for adding or removing contacts to or from Groups in Address Book

I'm just curious if there happens to be a Short-cut for either adding contacts to a Group and/or removing them from Groups as well? Seems extremely inefficient to not have this options available. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is there any way to repeat the last action on a new selection?

I'm playing with Pages to see if I can use it instead of Word. I'm very expert with Word, just starting with Pages. Like some things, don't like some, but I think it's worth continuing to play with it to see if it will work for me. One problem I've been having is repeating an action. In Word, if you do something (in the particular situation I just had, it was deleting a row in a table), and then click on another place and do command-Y, it repeats what you did. Similarly, if you format a word as bold, say, and then select another word and do command-Y the second word will also be made bold. I realize the latter can be done in pages by selecting "emphasis" style for the second word, but I couldn't figure out any work-around for deleting the table rows (I tried selecting several non-adjacent rows, but "delete row" was greyed out on the actions menu). Any way to do this that I've missed?

Thanks anyway. I'm sorry that Apple didn't include a "repeat" keyboard shortcut - going to the Inspector and then the actions wheel and then "delete row" time after time wasn't fun.
I'm afraid I failed to communicate well about outline format - I didn't mean a bulleted or numbered list, I do know how to do that, but rather making a single character (or in my particular interest a symbol, the diamond and heart suit symbols) appear in outline text format. You can do it by going to format->font->outline, but if I want to do it for several occurrences of the same thing (or a few different things), it's not much fun to do it that way. But maybe I can define a character format that's outline and that will work. Still would prefer to have a keyboard shortcut to apply the character format though.
Incidentally, while I'm talking about diamonds and hearts, is there any way to change the amount of space that gets put in after the diamond and heart symbols if you insert them using Edit->Special Characters? I write a lot of documents that use those symbols and lines end up unevenly spaced because of the large amount of space below each symbol (I've figured out a partial work-around - I defined a style for "body after suit symbol" that is raised enough to get the line spacing right, but that only works when I want to have a hard return at the end of the line with the suit symbols, since if the lines wrap, both lines have to have the same paragraph formatting. This problem isn't really Pages related - I have the same difficult with Word .

When I add a photo to my timeline I usually need to make it fill my canvas/frame and the way I have been doing this is by selecting the the image in the timeline which then shows the wireframe and "handles" in the canvas window that I can then drag to size the way I want.
In order to get the right position, I most often have to go to a 12% zoom in the canvas window to see how it is positioning. And at 12%, the image in the Canvas is pretty small in standard view.
So my question is there a short-cut/key combination that when I select the image and get the "handles" in the canvas, I can make my image larger or smaller without having to resort to using the handles and dragging.
Does this make sense?

Short cut key definitions and symbols I cannot find on keyboard.

Short cut key definitions, In the window drop down menu there is a short cut symbol for the EQ and others that I simply don't understand or see on my keyboard. My question is this, how do I make this shortcut work? The symbol in front of the command symbol.

The option+command+E is represented as the ⌥⌘E symbolism, and by pressing those keys, will show the Equalizer.
Reference the OS X keyboard shortcut guide for additional symbol information. Apple has placed the ⌘ symbol on the command key for a long time, but does not do this with other symbols for shift, control, option, and caps lock.

Short cut key

Hello,
I'm facing a problem in assigning short cut key ( which is not defined in the button property list) to the command buttons.
Please find the attached snapshot of my front panel vi. where in I have placed seven buttons next to each other.
My requirement :
1. In run-time i need to move focus from one button to another from right to left as well as left to right using keyboard navigation keys. How can I do it?
2. Command should be executed only if the button is pressed twice. i.e once the button is pressed it has to ask for confirmation. Is there a possibility to do it?

Create custom short cut key for colon

I have a Macbook Pro 10.8.4 Lion, but when I upgraded from Mountain Lion, my keyboard went a little wacky. I could of spilled something withnot noticing, but honestly I think I would remember. The help support had no ideas to fix the issues despite our attempts.
So is there a way to create a custom short cut for a key not in a menu? I need to create a short cut key for the colon and semi colon lol.

    I can't attach it in SBO because when it starts menu has not been generated yet, and it automatically loose it. I can't seem to capture combination keys in main main desktop using keysdown event type. Is there anything that I can use??

Aperture Desk top short cut key - Disable ?

customise
selected my custom command
found the preset - with the associated Short cut Key. I want to keep the Pre-set, but REMOVE the associated short cut key.

Go to "Aperture➞Commands➞Customize ... " and in the "Command List" section (lower left) select the command with the key binding you wish you remove, and press the "delete" key on your keyboard. Then click "Save".

Assign text to short cut keys

Is it posable to assign a web address or an e-mail address or even a text string to a particular short cut key combination?

No. What you need is a Macro program. I use iKeys, but it is having issues with Leopard. There is QuickKeys and Keyquencer as well, but not sure how they are doing with Leopard as well. Leopard changed too many things around, and apps like these find it difficult to keep up with them.
