Is there a site advisor that is compatible with Firefox 4?

AVG secure search extension not compatible with new firefox 4, is mcafee site advisor or any other compatible?

Yes, I have latest McAfee Site Advisor installed which works fine with Firefox4.
Download Link:
www.siteadvisor.com
By default in Firefox4 add-on bar is turned off, if that is the case for you as well then after installation of Site Advisor you need to enable add-on bar manually from Firefox menu by navigating to:
View->Toolbars-Add-on-bar

  • I am not getting the site launcher that is compatible with firefox 5, so by when it will be launched?

    i am using firefox 5, it is very good but it has compatibility problem with site launcher, mean the site launcher for ff5 is not available. I have downloaded the site launcher 1.6.4 and installed it but it is not accepting any shortcut and it is not triggered when ctrl+shift combinations.
    so by when it's latest version will be out for use or launched.

    I was wondering if it was the sites use of [http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3868299/is-autocomplete-off-compatible-with-all-modern-browsers/21348793#21348793 autocomplete-off] but that changes with Fx30 (already changed in pre-release) and already differs in some other browsers and you continue to have the problem with other browsers.
    I need to be clear exactly what you do and see. It would also help to know what the site is, although unless it is public and free it probably can not be tested by others, but it does at least enable a search to be made for reports of the problem.
    Can you list exactly the steps you take and what you expect to see or happen compared with what does or does not happen.
    If this does hinge on how a particular individual site behaves it is not actually a Firefox problem and although someone may provide an answer it may be better asking somewhere else such as
    * http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=25 <br />If you do post please provide the link so others may follow progress.
    Have you ruled out that other security related software could be interfering, and if this is a problem at work have you asked your IT department.

  • Is there any external storage that is compatible with the ipad2

    is there any external storage that is compatible with the ipad2

    the Wifi storage options are interesting but it seems they only allow to read files from the device on the iPad but not transfer files to the storage device via WiFi.
    I'm looking for a possibility to use the iPad for photography while traveling, without the access to a computer.
    Shooting photo's in RAW format crates pretty big files that will fill up the iPad's memory pretty fast if you shoot a lot during a (let's say) month long trip.
    my idea was to use load the photo's to the iPad so i could view them and sort out any bad ones. then copy them over to the storage device so i can continue using my CF cards for shooting. I have an image thank for copying the photo's directly to the HDD but it would be so sweet to be able to check them on the iPad before hand.
    any suggestions?

  • Is there a version of Murdoch Blocker compatible with Firefox 26.0?

    Is there a version of Murdoch Blocker that is compatible with FIrefox 26.0?

    When add-ons haven't been updated for a very long time (in this case, over 2 years), Firefox might assume they are obsolete...
    If you check the Add-ons page, is it possible to re-enable the extension? Either:
    * Ctrl+Shift+a
    * orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
    In the left column, click Extensions. Note that disabled extensions cluster at the bottom.
    The range of compatible Firefox versions is stored inside the extension and can be updated by hand-editing. This is a slightly messy operation that doesn't always work, but in brief, the extension format is basically a ZIP archive, so you extract the install.rdf file from the archive, update the maximum compatible version to something higher, then replace the original install.rdf with the updated file.

  • I cannot find a Google Toolbar add-on that is compatible with Firefox 7.0.1. Is it true that there isn't one?

    My Dell Inspiron 1464 laptop crashed recently and Dell replaced the hard drive and re-installed Win 7 Home Premium, 64 bit. I bought the laptop in 2009 and soon experienced a lot of compatibility problems between the computer and peripherals, like printers, and in some Web applications. I did some Web research and it seemed that the problems were related to the Win 7 64 bit OS. I talked to Dell and they acknowledged that my problems might be due to that 64 bit version. They sent me the 32 bit installation disc to replace the OEM 64 bit version and I downgraded the OS on my Dell. This seemed to solve my problems, so I have been using that until the computer crashed on 30 Sept. this year.
    After it crashed, I contacted Dell and we walked through a number of diagnostic tests and, although we couldn't find anything obviously wrong with the HDD, it just wouldn't load Win 7 and wouldn't boot. Dell concluded that the HDD was well and truly buggered somehow.
    They sent me a box and I sent the laptop to them for repair.
    Dell replaced the HDD and re-installed the 64 bit Win version at my request, since I had been advised by my IT guys at work that more things were now compatible with the 64 bit version than when I bought it in 2009. In addition, I had purchased a newer printer and other external bits in the past year and expected that I wouldn't have the compatibility issues now. With the full original version, I would be able to use more of my computer's resources.
    Before I sent the computer back to Dell for repair, I took it to Staples and had the Tech Support guys there transfer the data from the wonky hard drive to an external drive, which they did successfully. In fact, I did this on advice from one of the Dell tech support techs with whom I spoke.
    I got the computer back from Dell this last week and re-downloaded Firefox, which is my preferred browser, but I can't seem to add the Google Toolbar to it, now. I have the Google toolbar on Internet Explorer and have used it in earlier versions of Firefox, especially the "translate" function, since I do considerable research in documents in many languages. When I tried to download the Google Toolbar and add it to my new Firefox installation, it says I can't. When I do an Internet search I find many posts saying that Google Toolbar does not work with any Firefox of versions 5 or higher. Is this true? If not, how can I add Google Toolbar to my Firefox 7.0.
    Thank you.
    Mark Fritzler

    You can turn off compatibility checking, but more and more of the Google Toolbar will not work. Google is no longer supporting the Google Toolbar so you should use the alternatives.
    Hi Mark,
    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Using_Google_Toolbar_features_without_toolbars
    If you have an aspect that is not covered, indicate what that is; otherwise, expect you to be fully functional within 1-2 weeks.

  • Is there other software like Java that is compatible with firefox 9.01?

    I use QuickBooks Online for my work as a bookkeeper. From the Pay One Vendor/Bill Payment screen I type in a vendor name then hit tab. Normally after hitting tab, all of the vendor's open invoices will automatically load onto the screen. But on Tuesday, Firefox automatically updated. I hit tab and nothing happens. I updated my plugins but Java said that its not compatible with the new version of Firefox. What do I do? Or is it something else that needs to be fixed? Please help. Thanks!

    Thanks! The procedure worked great for me (using iTunes 10), however there was one caveat. I also had to edit “AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi” with Orca and change the entry in “LaunchCondition” from
    VersionNT64>=600
    to
    VersionNT64>=501
    in order for the Device Manager driver update procedure to work, and iTunes to recognize my iPhone4. Prior to doing this, only “digital still camera” was displayed in the “imaging” entry in Device Manger. Once I did the above, “Apple Mobile Device USB Driver” was listed, and the procedure worked as written.

  • Is there a negative scanner that is compatible with the iMac?

    i have a ton of photo negatives that i would like to scan into iphoto, but everything i have seen is only compatible with a pc.  doesn't apple have something available for this?  if not, make one SOON!

    Several come up when I do a Google search on:
    negative scanner mac os
    http://www.amazon.com/Pacific-Image-ImageBox-Windows-Mac/dp/B002JBHGGO/ref=sr_1_ 3?ie=UTF8&qid=1340154012&sr=8-3&keywords=negative+scanner+for+mac
    Most would probably work.  Scanner tend to support the TWAIN interface which Mac OS suppports. You would not get any of the software on the disc.

  • Is there a bluetooth microphone that is compatible with an ipad mini?

    I am looking for a bluetooth microphone for my ipad mini. Anyone have any suggestions?

    deggie is correct; BT only works with some headphones and keyboards. You'd have to invest in one of the 3rd party apps in the App Store to get your printing done.

  • Can I get Google tool bar that is compatible with Firefox 8

    Window7 Professional 32 bit running Firefox 8.
    When I try to download ? latest version of Google toolbar I get a message to say it is not compatible

    My main need for the Google Toolbar is to use the synchronized bookmarks that I can access from anywhere. I am required to use Firefox at work, so unless I can get the toolbar for Firefox I will not have access to my bookmarked.
    Is there anyway to be able to access the Google bookmarks in Firefox without the toolbar?

  • I recently installed firefox 5 and lost some of the google stuff I liked. Especially sidewiki. It is incompatible with 5. Is there anything like it that is compatible?

    Would like something that is compatible with firefox 5, or do I need to go back to the previous firefox?

    Extensions for Firefox, such as the Google Toolbar, include a list of compatible Firefox versions. Last time I checked, the Google Toolbar only goes up to Firefox 4. However, people have tested and it mostly works on Firefox 5, so there are two workarounds:
    (1) Edit a file to revise the range of compatible versions
    (2) Install an add-on that lets you ignore the range of compatible versions
    This thread has info on both approaches: [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/837142 google toolbar does not work with firefox 5.0. why not! | Firefox Support Forum | Firefox Help].
    Any luck?
