Is there a "Softer" button

Question

I downloaded a test version of Soundbooth to check it out. I'm not an audio pro, but have used some audio editing software. I find the Soundbooth UI a bit odd. For example, there is a "Louder" button. However, I can't find a "Softer" button or a way of reversing the "Louder" button. How do you do that?

Ozpeter,
First, thanks for the feedback.
Second, I highlighted a section of the waveform, there's a funny looking gray part that says "+0.0 dB". I can type a number in there or drag it back and forth to raise and lower the amplitude. It's similar to the "knob" at the bottom of the wave panel.
It seems to work well, but it's not intuitive and doesn't look like a traditional audio mixer (like in Premiere). Perhaps it will grow on me(or perhaps not).
A big problem is that the documentation is not very good. For example, I could not find a screen shot that provides a high-level overview of the UI.
Like most Adobe documentation, it contains mostly text for a very visually oriented application. And, I have to know where to go to get the information (which defeats the benefit of documentation).
Oh, well... I'll keep working with it.
