Is there a solutions for the jagged/blurry photos in a iMovie HD 6.0 slide?

Hi My name is Basfoto from Holland (so the Enlish can be off)
I`ve tried making slideshows with iMovie HD 5.0. I came across the same problem as many of you: blurry and jagged photo`s while making a slideshow. I like the prog. because it give you so much options (with audio and text) but the photo`s look horrible. What can I do? Upgrade to 6.0 Is this problem then solved. Or is there another slideshow maker (prof) that has as much options (timetable, multi text, audio wich can be set any way you like)?

I have an iPad2 with 64 GB. After I start the videorecording it stops automaticly by 49 minutes en 51 seconds.
I looked in my settings and there was still enough space left. Although I do not think that the 64Gb is not the problem.
I bought myself an alternative recording app now. I hope it works properly but if the quality is OK. I do not know. I combine the recordings with my video (digitaltape) camera of Sony.

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

Is there a solution for the MCH1210 errors in SAPOSCOL ?

When starting to work with changing the percentage of processor for the LPAR running SAP we are getting MCH1210 errors in the SAPOSCOL job. When searching for a solution I ran into a IBM knowledgebase item.

The version we are running at the moment is:
SAPOSCOL version COLL 20.95 640 - AS/400 SAPOSCOL Version 24 Sep 2007
Apparently there is no PTF to fix this problem, and when searching for a new version of SAPOSCOL I could not find a reference to the problem we are experiencing.
We are planning of running a second partition, a SAP Content Server (Linux), and would like to use the flexability of the platform to work with a shared processor pool.
Any suggestion to get rid of the MCH1210 errors ?

Hi Rudi,
I have tried to apply the patch "on the fly" (while the system was up) and ran into some errors, so I do not recommend that. What you could do is this:
1. Create a copy of the kernel library (I recommend SAVLIB to a SAVF, then RSTLIB to a different library name, see SAP Note 1097599).
2. Run the APYR3FIX command for the AS4RMTCCMS patch on the copied library.
3. Rename AS4RMTCCMS on the original kernel library into some dummy name or move it to another library.
4. Move AS4RMTCCMS from the copied library into original kernel library.
Since AS4RMTCCMS at your current level does not work anyway, you should not see additional problems when renaming or moving it.

Hi All,
I noticed the .jpg's in Flash player 9 are yellow coloured while they aren't yellow at all.
When upgrading to Flash player 10, all is fine.
I read also that the cause will be the used colour scheme for the images. When used cmyk this state occurs, when using rgb it doesn't.
But now my customer have to update all images and I'm wondering if there is another solution is available which I can fix this within Flex.
Does anybody have an idea or solution?

Is there an solution for the wi-fi internet connectivity using a MBP?

I have frustration while trying to stay connected to the internet. I bought this MacBook Pro thinking the technology was far superior to other notebooks. Now I have realized the wireless connectivity issue is something tech support has been unable to solve. This is a basic option on most new notebooks and none of the other brands in my home have this issue. Is there any help for me or am I stuck?

Can you connect to public wifi? Have you tried updating your router's firmware? Have you tried using a different channel? What security are you using? What model router do you have?
I don't have and I am not aware of any systemic wifi connectivety issue.

Disk Space. Is there a solution for the "Other" in Storage

This has been asked over and over again, yet I haven't found an answer to fix the issue.
I have a 160 GB Drive, with 86GB under other. A Few months ago, the Other section was about 60GB, and I had photos for about 30GB.
I deleted all my photos from my hard drive, and moved them to an external, to free up some space. Now I find out that all that space that I freed, has slowly been taken over by none other than "Other".
I did download OmniDiskSweeper as recommended, however, when I look at the distribution under Sweep, I can only see the actual space which I am known to be using.
Here are my questions:
1-Time machine seems to be coming up often in the discussions.If my backup is on my external hard drive, why would space be taken up on my macbook hard drive?
2-Shoud I delete older backups? If for example, all I need from Time Machine is the latest backup done today, can I get rid of the 2+ yeras of backups, or do they not take up that much space?
3-Back to the issue, considering I don't have access to a an apple store for the next few months, what is my best plan of action?
4-I am considering buying a new macbook 15inch, and get more space, however, I'm scared that the same problem will happen again. Is this common on all macs? Will using Time Machine to "Restore" my backups bring along the issues as well?

Read the first extract for the definition of backup snapshots and how they are handled by the OS.

No. Time Machine should be on a separate HDD and will take care of deleting backups when necessary on that drive.

I would consider installing a larger internal HDD. Capacities to 1 TB are now available.

All Macs using Time Machine will experience the same conditions. The problem is that many users do not under stand what 'Other' is and that leads to confusion. There are many essential OS files in that category that should not be touched as well as some user files. The issue is not to reduce 'Other' as such, but reduce the total amount of data on the HDD if space is becoming a premium.

IPhone 4: Is there a solution for the front camera shutter not opening?`

I have had this problem for the last few weeks,
the rear camera works fine, but when i select the front camera the shutter remains closed and never opens.
if i open the front camera frst, the rear doesnt open till i restart it
i have restored, set up as new iphone and updated the sftware, but the front camera shutter doesnt open and remains closed, i have read online of others having this problem and some suggest changing the camera, which i got someone to do, yet the same fault remains,
is this a software fault which will be resolved in future updates or does anyomne know how to fix this?

I don't think there's anything more you can do. No way to know if a future update will help but I'm guessing you have a hardware problem that an update won't cure.

Is there a solution for the unclickable pink halo cursor on Mac Mini

Since I've updated my Mac Mini to Yosemite it wakes up with a pink halo around the cursor. I am able to move the cursor but can not select anything. So far the only way that I've been able to correct it has been to do a power button restart.
Is anyone else having this issue?
Does anyone know is Apple is aware of this issue?
I can't seem to find a way to send feedback to Apple without spending $29 for a support chat.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Is there a limit to the number of photos added to iMovie?

I am trying to add more photo stills to a project but iMovie will not add more than the 495 I have in there. I know it is an enormous amount of still photos but in they are short in duration and I'd like to add about 130 more to complete this project. Any photos past this mark are simply being rejected/not added by the program no matter how many times I try to drag them over even one at a time. Is there a limit? Can I overcome this some how?

I would recommend that you put the photos that you need in order in an iPhoto album.
326 should be no problem. I have done that many or more.
To drag them into iMovie, open the Photo Browser in iMovie and look for the album. There should be an icon for the album. Drag the icon for the album into your iMovie Project. (rather than dragging the photos one at a time).
Since you are having sluggish behavior, I would recommend that you shut down iMovie, restart your Mac, and start over with a new project, unless you have too much work invested, in which case, try the old project first.
