Is there a SP2013 Approval Workflow template?
I've researched the web and it appears there is no SP2013 Approval Workflow template. The only out-of-the-box approval workflow template for SP2013 is the SP2010 Approval Workflow template? Is this correct? I would to have this confirmed by an MS
tech.

In SharePoint 2013, there is no OTB workflows, But still SP 2010 OTB workflows can be created on the SP 2013 site and part of the default SharePoint installation.
Still its runs on backward compatibility in SP 2013.
SP 2013 workflows are scoped broaden in terms of functionality and usage, scale able ,robust and runs out side of the SharePoint server.
For these reasons,SP 2013 does not have OTB workflows.

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to find Approval Workflow Template.
To activate the Workflow feature, you need to click Site Setting -> under Site Collection Administration, click “Site collection features", and then activate the "Workflow" feature.
Then the Approval Workflow Template will be appeared.

Hi All,
We are having issues implementing SRM standard bid invitation workflow approval becos of the absence of a web transaction acknowledged by SAP.
Our implementation requires this functionality, could anyone assist us with a work around, or an alternative solution that can be adopted or customized by us.

As standard, as of SRM40, there is no approval workflow while creating Bid Invitation. Because of this We gave up on this. You can definitely custom on your own. Our need was similar SC BADI workflow. SRM50 has.
We did implement worklfows for "Approval of Submitted Bids"
Can you try with same web transaction assigned to task for "Approval of Submitted Bids" i.e., BBP_QUOT_EXTWF to this TS79007918 and try. Web Transaction is nothing but a Web service attached backend transaction, right. Your case web transaction BBP_QUOT_EXTWF is pointing to Source BBP_BID_INV, Try your luck having done so much and let me know.

"There are no workflows templates available" error but actually workflow exist
I am using SharePoint 2013 on-premise farm. The workflow manager 1.0 is installed although we do not build any workflow on that.
On a site collection, when user try to create a workflow on "Pages" library, the error "There are no workflows templates available" occur. Checking ULS log there is nothing useful

By using SharePoint Designer 2013 we can see the workflows "Publishing approval" exist. I clicked on "Publish" button on SharePoint Designer, the problem is fixed. User can see the workflow "Publishing approval" when he try
to create a workflow on "Pages" library.
However, some hours later user call and said the problem recoccur. I checked with Designer the workflow still exist and no change for "Last modified time". If I clicked on "Publish" again it will fix again.
My question is,
How can we check whether a workflow have been published? Any parameter?
How can we "unpublish" a workflow?
Any event could "unpublish" of a workflow?

According to your description, you are unable to get the workflows "Publishing approval" template in SharePoint UI.
Make sure you have activate the Publishing Approval Workflow feature. If you have activate the Publishing Approval Workflow feature, deactivate it and active it again.
Site Settings -> Site Collection Administration ->Site collection features ->activate Publishing Approval Workflow feature.
1.How can we check whether a workflow have been published? Any parameter?
We can check whether the workflow is existing in the SharePoint UI.
2.How can we "unpublish" a workflow?
Under normal circumstances, we aren’t "unpublish" a workflow.
3.Any event could "unpublish" of a workflow?
Deactivate the feature which is related to the workflow.

Attaching the notification template to a approval workflow or process OIM11
Hi guys,
we have customized our approval workflow at request level, and operational level approval making default approval based on approval policy. Now the question is we need to send a mail notification to manager to approve the request and then when whole request is completed then the mail has to be sen to the user that new account has been created for that resource.
here the user is request a resource by using self-resource request template.
i have seen the notifications but how would make these notification are triggered at above events
appreciate ur responsesYour first step is to clearly define when the notifications must go out.
1. Email to Approver for task assigned - If you have built a SOA Composite and in your code, you have retrieved the user manager value and assigned to that user, then with this value, you can also code for a custom notification. From the request data, you can retrieve the beneficiary and the resource for which is requested. Using these, you can use a notification resolver class to pass those values in to your notification. See this link http://fusionsecurity.blogspot.com/2011/07/oim-11g-notifications.html for how to create a custom notification.
2. Email to user when Resource has been provisioned - This will happen on the provisioning side, and you can attach to your Create User task and use the notification tab. I do not know if these still work, but create a new email definition from the design console. Open the create user task, go to the notification tab, select the User as your target, status is C, and then select your email definition. Another option would probably be an event handler that is triggered on the status of Provisioned for that resource, but someone else might be able to provide more insight on this as i have not configured one yet.

I have created a workflow template in tcode PFTC, which i am using to send email, this workflow needs to be triggered once the document is posted, there are no events being triggered at that stage, My query is 'Is there any function module to trigger this workflow template from the user exit'?.

Approval Workflow and Templates
Hi
When using approval workflow and templates, does it exist a workaround of how we may solve the issue where we have to set approval and templates for each KM folder in a hierarchic structure?
Could it be possible to set these settings for a topfolder and inherit the settings for the siblings?

SP2013 Online - Approval Workflow "Request for Change" customization
Hi,
I am need for modifying the flow of request for change option in Approval workflow.
Whenever a user requests for change, I need to change the current task status as "Change Request" instead of completing the current task and creating a new task. Also, send an email notificaton to the requestor to make the changes.
Requestor will then make the changes and send a seperate email to the approver to review and approve the changes. After that reviewer will be appoving the workflow task.
I am need of this process flow as my requestor group will not have access to workflow task to re-initiate the workflow after changes.
Please advice.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to change the current task status as "Change Request" instead of completing the current task and creating a new task whenever a user requests for change in your SharePoint Online.
For your issue, you can Copy & Modify the Globally Reusable Publishing Approval Workflow using SharePoint Designer and create a new Task Outcome for "Change Request".

I am trying to add a new workflow to a document library with the below mentioned settings and getting error saying "This form cannot be opened in a web browser. to open this form use microsoft infopath" while adding a new Approval - Sharepoint
2010 and Publishing Approval workflow" . For your information the I have checked the server default option to open in browser.

But I am not creating a custom workflow in designer as Laura has mentioned. I am instead trying to create a new Out of the box Approval Workflow and I get the error mentioned above.
As it works in other environment, I tried figuring out the possible differences which can lead to this error.
Today I found one difference which is there are no form Templates within Infopath Configurations in Central Admin. Now I am trying to figure out what makes this form templates to be added to the template gallery.

It looks workflow template is missing.
Please check the note 962488 "Workflow definition '&' not in version '&'".
1. Run the function module SWD_WFD_REPLICATE_FROM_9999 and copy it.
2. Re-activate the WF definitions in the transaction SWDD
3. Check Consistency in the transaction SWUD
Also check the sub workflow.

We are getting this message from time to time and are unsure how to troubleshoot it.
It seems as though something is changing the document, what is the best way to figure out what?

3. Is the user account starting the workflow correctly synchronized in the user profile database?

OIM 11g Approval Workflow Notification questions
Hello.
I am working with an OIM 11g approval workflow. The workflow will flow from one group to another, and if one user in each group approves it, it is approved. Because I assigned it to groups, the notifications are going to every user in each group.
Is it possible to send a notification to only a single user within a group, instead of everyone? Does auto claim do this?
Is it possible to send a different notification if the ApprovalTask is rejected versus approved?
Thanks.If I understand correctly, you want to send the notification only to the user who has approved the request and not to all in the group. You can do it by NOT using the notification tab in the .task but by using EmailNotificationService after the .task in BPEL. There you can read the data from payload on who approved the request and can send the notification only to that user. Same way for rejects. You can configure that.
1. After your .task completion you can have a decision box which can check the value for 'outcome' and then direct it to appropriate path for appropriate notification.
or
2. Based on outcome you can set the template in a variable and then in the notificationservice use that variable.

One of the sites I a managing in Share Point 2007 has an approval workflow (based on the standard approval workflow) to approve calender items. The e-mail that is send to the approver contains a link to the
calender item, however I would like it to contain a link to the task item, so that the approver does not have to search for the task to approve.
