No, only one app can be open on screen at a time - so you can only have split screen if that particular app supports it, you can't havetwo apps visible (though you can switch betweens either via the taskbar or multi-tasking gestures)

Here's the troubleshooting section you referred me to, and the response;

2. I'm taken to www.me.com/find page, where I Log In using my Apple ID and then I see a very large statement, "To use Find My iPhone, go to iCloud.com." - with only one button available - "Open iCloud.com" - I click on that sole option.
3. I'm asked to enter my user name and password again, which I do
4. The page that occurs next is a secure iCloud site - https//:www.icloud.com/#find
5. My iPhone and iMac are listed under "My Devices," but not the MacBook.
I can see no opportunity to enable "Find my Mac" the MacBook, because Preferences/iCloud leads me back into the loop described above.

I have viewed my Apple ID account and can find no sign of multiple iCloud accounts.

It's a MacBook with a good WiFi connection to a known system. There is no Airplane mode on the MacBook.
Find My Mac can only locate your Mac if it is connected to an internet via a known Wi-Fi network. If your Mac is connected to the internet only by an ethernet cable, Find My Mac will not be able to locate your Mac.
Again, it is connected to a known WiFi system - my house. It's the same system that my iMac is connected to, and the iMac appears as a listed Device in iCloud "Find My Phone"
To be sure, I ran Disk First Aid and restarted my MacBook, and also ran Repair Disk Permissions twice.
Same symptoms have not been resolved.

There are in fact available IP address's within the dhcp scope. Before I dig to deep into root cause.. Could the problem be RDS CAL licensing running out, or isn't that not a symptom of my error message?

As per my research, there is no any issue related to RDS CAL licensing. Prior to the issue which you are facing, there are some basic setting which need to configure.
Application Compatibility – Turn on Remote Desktop IP virtualization
Some applications require a unique IP address, which is by default logically not the case if the application is running on RD Session Host. To solve this issue, Remote Desktop IP Virtualization is introduced. With this setting you enable the IP virtualization
feature. When enabling this setting you need to specify if the virtual IP is provided per session or per program. When using per program you need to define the executable to which an IP address should be configured. Desktop IP virtualization also needs the
configuration of the next setting.
Application Compatibility – Select the network adapter to be used for Remote Desktop IP Virtualization
When you need to use Remote Desktop IP virtualization configuring this setting is mandatory. You need to specify the IP address of the Network Interface Card which should be used for this feature. Besides the IP address you need also to specify the network
mask using the slash notation, for example 192.168.77.201/24.
Application Compatibility – Do not use Remote Desktop Session Host server IP address when virtual IP address is not available

In addition to what's mentioned in the article, if you have lots of photos and videos attached to your text messages, these are all included in your iCloud backup and deleting them can sometimes significantly reduce the size of your backup.
If worse comes to worse, back up your phone to your computer rather than iCloud. To do this, connect it to your computer, open iTunes and go to File>Devices>Back Up and to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. This can be used to restore your data when you get your phone back. (In fact, it's faster because you don't have to download the data from iCloud.)

Carrier Settings are dependent entirely on your carrier. 2G is old outdated and slow etc, most carriers are phasing out their 2G service. You would need to ask your carrier when they plan on releasing a new update.
Why on earth do you want to set your iPhone to 2G? It will automatically switch to 2G if 3G is not available, and 2G is found.

Adobe apps on Android. Apps like Ideas and Kuler used to be there but not sure why they were eventually pulled. Not enough interest, maybe? (I believe Kuler eventually went free for iOS.)
You have to buy the apps outright since those are closed electronic marketplaces that have no mechanism to connect to another marketplace (like Creative Cloud). The consolation is that if you stop subscribing to Creative Cloud, you'll keep any apps you've bought.

Call Screening Feature Available or How To?

Looking to see if Verizon has a feature similar to what a relative of mine has in Colorado, not sure the company there. When you call their number there is a question/screening message that states they do not want to get unwanted messages from solicitors, etc. If you are a solicitor, please add to the "Do not dial list" otherwise press "1" or wait. I think this helps to screen many autodialing systems and forces people to answer the question to get through which people you don't want to call will normally never do. Now it does kinda stink for people who call you who are family and friends, but if they know to hit #1 I think you get through fairly easily anyway. We do not use our landline for anything other than emergencies, but sometimes need to get a message from somebody who has the number and needs to get to us through a landline (maybe don't know our cell phone numbers ...). The problem is the voicemailbox gets so full of jumk that we rarely listen to the messages and miss calls we need to hear. If we know that solicitors are not leaving messages the mailbox should get MUCH less full and we would be more inclined to listen to each message more rapidly.
So, does Verizon have anything similar? We don't know all the numbers that could come in to create a list of people allowed to call so that won't help.

What you see is what you get. The shuffle is a compact unit designed to play tracks at random from the selection you put on it. It isn't possible to search out and play specific tracks, nor get visual feedback of what is currently playing. You can have the device give feedback by VoiceOver if that is of any use to you.

There might be something there that is at least similar to the app your looking for.
edit: There is one shareware that is an iTunes plugin called Multi-tunes. With it you can create multiple iTunes libraries, one library called "Main" one called "Bootlegs" etc, and Multi-Tunes will allow you to quickly switch between them from within the iTunes window. Not exactly what your looking for but close.

You would have to contact itunes support and ask if they will do this for you.

Ok here's the question. If I wanted a image file or music file to be available for download on your iweb site.....would that be possible?
Kind of like when you go to a website and sometimes it has a link you can press to download a file. If you click the file then the "save as" or "download" window opens depending on your browser.

There are two ways to link to files with iWeb. The approach that iWebFaq outlines results in iWeb making a copy of the file in question and storing it in the domain.sites file. Then, when it publishes your website, it puts a copy of the file in the right place in the folders it publishes. Visitors to your site then download that copy.
You are correct that you can put things in your public folder of your iDisk for download. But the process of linking to those files is different. When you set up the link in iWeb (using the inspector) you need to choose "external link" and provide the url of the file in question.
For more background on the differences between these approaches, and the advantages of each, see this thread. That thread also has some good links for sorting out what the url of the files in your public (and other) folders of your iDisk are.

Is there noe a windows 7 driver available for the HP 1012 laser printer

I got mine working on windows 7 with the 1015 driver. However it acts a little flaky at times. Mostly I miss two sided copying. Today I suddenly got a message in my action center tha a driver is available. Didn't trust link provided so went to HP page. Cute, they skipped windows 7 but did develop one for windows 8. So much for it is too old to be supported.
Can anyone confirm driver availability?
