There's no specific error code, but a link to contact support for further assistance. It doesn't take me to customer support, but does take me to a screen which states. "Error "This serial number is not for a qualifying product." I've checked my account and the product serial number is associated with my account., so I don't see any problem. I have not been able to find a resolution to this problem, so I hope that someone can point me in the right direction. Thank you!

XI Alerting - Error Code-Descriptions

Hi to all,
I'm just about to use the XI-Alerting for application support and got the following question:
Is there any resource where to get some kind of catalogue with descriptions for all XI-Error-Codes?
Of course, most of the category/code-names are quite self-explanatory but I'd like to have sort of reliable documentation.
I found several blogs and forum-threads concerned with specific categories/codes, but was not able to find one document about the whole thing (and as there are about 350 I think, it would be quite a puzzle to gather the information).
Any idea where to find something like that?

I beleive there is no such documents that describe each and every Error category and Code. I faces the same problem while confiuring the Alerts for many interfaces.
Even I tried to find out on SAP Market place...but get nothing.
If you doing any research and will come up with any document thean please let me know also.

Is there a range of error codes reserved for user defined error codes?

I would like to create my own error codes for a CVI dll but I want to make sure I don't use error codes already defined for something else. Is there a range reserved for such use?

I have never found a positive mention of a "safe" range of error codes available for user-defined error conditions, but I can suggest you some source of informations.
First of all, every library has its specific list of error codes, usually listed in the relative include file. All these error codes are listed in the online help too (search for "error codes" in the index tab of the help).
Second, GetGeneralErrorString () is a function that can be used to trap errors of the following libraries with a unique error function:
User Interface Library
Easy I/O instrument driver
Toolbox instrument driver
ActiveX Library
DIAdem Connectivity Library
.NET Library
DataSocket instrument driver
Network Variable Library
Real-Time Utility Library
TDM Streaming Library
UDP Support Library
This means that the error codes from this libraries do not overlap, so you could derive from its code some ranges not used by these libraries.
Nevertheless, there is not a single function for error trapping: every library has its proper list of error codes and a function to decode them in human readable form, andthere is no guarantee that these ranges does not overlap. It's up to you to trap errors from every function in the proper way.

COM routine error code descriptions in SAP APO - transaction /SAPAPO/OM10

I had recently encountered a COM error in SCM APO and wasted a lot of time trying to figure out what the error code actually meant.
If you ever have this issue, you can use transaction /SAPAPO/OM10 to resolve any COM routine error message.
You can also check the message class /SAPAPO/OM_TS and possibly some other /SAPAPO/OM* message classes as well. This is where the error message descriptions are coming from.

Is there a listing of error codes and what they mean?

Continually get -3150 and -3252 codes. Can't find info when I search the site. Looks like lots of other error codes. Didn't know if anyone knows where to find a list of what the codes mean...and ways to make them stop.

It happens when the server can't connect to LDAP server. Check to make sure your server is connecting to directory server by going to "Users & Groups" tab in the administration server UI.

I have a samsung galaxy note 4 that I am having issues replying and sending standard text messages. I am not using a third party app. This has been ongoing for about a week now. Can someone please assist?

I noticed I was having the problem with songs that had been in WMA format but converted by iTunes. From what I read, this error is actually about permission issues for the files. I tried changing the permissions on the directory and cascade them to each file, but that didn't work. Reading more, one user got around the problem by zipping the problem files and use the files from the zip to sync. That worked for them. I tried that and it didn't work. Then I just figured there is some residual setting either on the iPad or in iTunes that was still hosing me.
I'd gotten pretty annoyed by this time so I figured I have to start with a clean slate. I reset the iPad to factory condition. I then went to windows restore and selected the restore point prior to installing iTunes. I then went thru the painful process of setting everything up again. Once I was installed and let the music be added to iTunes, I went thru and "unchecked" everything I didn't care if it went to the iPad. That was frustrating since I didn't actually have any check boxes showing. Since I was going to exclude whole albums, I did a right click on one in iTunes and there was an option in the context menu to uncheck the box. I did this for all the unwanted albums At this point, I connected the iPad and it was recognized. I went to the page to set up the syncing options. I tried to do it manually, but that was going to be a huge pain so I did the automatic sync and check the box to NOT sync unchecked items.
Finally, it started to work. I still got about 15 of the error -54 messages. I just clicked it away and the syncing continued.Since I had nearly 2000 songs transfer, I don't know which caused the error but I now have music on my iPad.
It's a lot of work, but I finally got the results I wanted. Hope this helps.

Is there a fix for error code -50 "paramErr"

After a week of succesfully making incremental backups to partitions on an Iomega 2Tb hard disk via CrashPlan and a bootable version of my hard drive using Carbon Copy Cloner, neither program has worked again...citing this paramErr and not recognizing "usr".
Any suggestions?

Getting error code 1 when calling SSIS package from a stored procedure (SQL Server 2008 R2)

I am trying to execute a SSIS package from SQL Server 2008 R2 stored procedure but getting error code 1 (as per my knowledge, error code description is as below:
0 The package executed successfully.
1 The package failed.
3 The package was canceled by the user.
4 The utility was unable to locate the requested package. The package could not be found.
5 The utility was unable to load the requested package. The package could not be loaded.
6 The utility encountered an internal error of syntactic or semantic errors in the command line.
Details:
I have a stored procedure named "Execute_SSIS_Package" (see below sp) which executes 'Import_EMS_Response' SSIS package (when I execute this package directly from SQL Server BID it works fine it means package itself is correct) and calling
it from SQL as:- EXEC Execute_SSIS_Package 'Import_EMS_Response'.
Here I receives error code 1.
Can anyone help me to resolve this issue please?

It has something to do with the security.
E.g. cmdshell is not enabled or the caller has not rights over the package.
There could be a syntax error, too.
I suggest you make the package runnable off a SQL Agent job then trigger the job from the stored proc with
sp_start_job <job name>

IMovie error code (-50)

I am trying to export a project to a DVD and I get the message, unable to process project, error code (-50). Can anyone help?

I cant believe this is happening, soooo frustrating!!!! I put about 24 hours into a project, exported it 3 times throughout, just to see the progress outside of imovie, finally finished the project and now error code -50 wont leave me alone!!! AND, on top of that, at the very end of the movie, some random sped up audio plays for a couple seconds, ***!?!? And yes, I strayed from the defaults in regards to the clip speed, but to me, using the defaults isnt a solution. The movie is complete, edits all match with music perfectly(almost), If I change just one of em then the rest is screwed If thats the best solution, then its as good as none, cuz either way it looks like ill have to start over. How can we not just get a straight answer, what the **** is error code -50?!?!? Does apple think that there are people out there that go "oh, error code -50, no prob... fixed!!" What good is knowing the code if theres no description??? Sorry, blowin steam... Being a music producer, ive been a loyal Mac man for many years, Logic Pro my software of choice, but past month or so, Post Snow Leopard, its been problem after problem. MaxL Error Codes

We have many MaxL scripts to load, calculate, export databases etc.... The client wants more precise error messages in the emails the scripts send out to help them decipher what the problem may be in case of a WARNING or ERROR. Is there a list of all possible error codes MaxL would create in the .log? Here's an example of one that is created by changing a member name in source file to make it fail.
WARNING - 1241114 - There were errors, look in C:\Automation\Dev\Logs\Revenue\revload.err.
I'm trying to avoid having to think of every possible type of failure and making it fail on purpose to capture these errors. Was hoping there is a list of all that I could reference?

There are two kinds of errors in MaxL -- command errors and errors that Essbase passes back.
The Essbase data load error you've identified is of the latter type and is not going to get trapped by MaxL's iferror. Unfortunately.
For errors that MaxL can trap (I bet you know the below, but there is something new in 11.1.2.x that's worth reviewing) there are now unique error codes which, I suppose, is what you don't want to do, but it's still an interesting function.

Error code 805a0193 when updating apps and install...

Up until Sunday the 12th of August 2012 I have been able to install and update my apps with no fuss. When I tried to install an app on Sunday I got an the error code mentioned above whether through wifi or 3g (for both wifi and 3g my carrier is CELL C) I get the same error message. I have tried to restore my phone software to previous software prior to recent update and even there I get an error code 801812E0. I also tried resetting my phone to factory settings through the phone and this didn't help.
I'm now stuck and I posted the same message on here http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/winphone/forum/wp7-wpapps/error-code-805a0193-when-updating-apps-... I have not received an answer.
The solutions posted on the site for a similar error relate to a DNS issue with wifi since I am using a cellc 3g card connected to a Sitecom wl-326 router and my Carrier is Cell C for my Lumia 800 i suspect it is an issue with Cell C our the current OS update.
