Is there a Thunderbird manual? I'm trying to understand all the View/Threads options.
I'm learning Thunderbird, hoping to adopt it as my mail client (can't keep Eudora afloat any more). The forums are not efficient for learning it. Right now I'm trying to understand all the View/Threads options, but tomorrow it will be something else.

The first one doesn't explain threads options but it led me to https://github.com/protz/GMail-Conversation-View/wiki/What-is-threading, which told me to do View > Sort by > Threaded (I had only tried View > Threads > ...). It also explains threading by message ID, whereas Eudora seems to do it only by subject line.
Neither reference explains the options under View > Threads > ... but I'll figure it out by trial & error.
The second reference led to http://www.nidelven-it.no/documentation/thunderbird/introduction-to-thunderbird, which also looks helpful.

When I try to install Itunes, I get this error: (translated from Norwegian) There was a network error while trying to read from the file: C: \ windows \ installer \ iTunes.msi I have tried many times to reinstall, but nothing helps, please help me.
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
ihone 4s lost all contacts. I tried to restore from backup but the error message now says there is not enough room. I have deleted all the apps without making any more room on iphone. Why did contact disappear and how do I get them back?
In the simplest sense, archiving a file means making a copy that you never change and never discard. You already know how to do that.
iPhoto has built-in archival features, in the sense that it saves all versions of an image that you've modified. As long as you have adequate backups, you don't necessarily have any reason to archive an iPhoto library. If you want to delete images from the working library but still have access to them in case you change your mind, then you do need to archive those images. I don't have a specific suggestion as to how you should do that. You might post a question in the iPhoto forum. -
Since updating iPhoto it has ceased to open. I have tried to Hold down the Command and Option keys on the keyboard which is the suggested solution to then open a suggested solution to rebuild the library, but it does not work. iPhoto still does not open. can someone please help?

1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache folder(s):
Home/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto
and, if there is one, the
Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: For Mavericks, 10.9, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:

I tried to sync all the songs in the library of the music folder, when I did my usual sync , I got a message saying
Some of the items in the Itunes libery. Including “彩虹的微笑“。 Were not copied to the Iphone. “User’s Iphone” because they could not be found
For a list of tiems that could not be copied , click the “below
8 total problems, I scroll down the list , these 8 songs has same message like “彩虹的微笑“
I want to sync 8 songs to my Iphone 4, there is no songs there now.
.II did it. By relocated all the songs. Then did my usual sync. Now , all the songs were synced to my Iphone now.:)

I am trying to get a good copy of my home video on DVD using IDVD. On editing the video all the viewing screens show the video perfectly in HD. When I burn the video to DVD all the end results are buzzy with squiggly lines. Any fix? Thanks?

There are several layers to this Q
A. There are no HD in DVD - DVD is as standard only SD-Video what ever tools used to produce it !
iDVD or DVD-Studio Pro or Roxio Toast™ - will only make SD-Video on DVD
B. DVD can be better or worse
• Using "Share to iDVD" is no good way - Better is Share to Media Browser and as Large (NOT HD as result will be worse)
• Using iMovie'08 or 09 or 11 - are not tools to chose if highes quality is of importance - iMovie up to HD6 or FinalCut any version is far better as they send over all lines to iDVD and not only every second one.
• Using Right encoder quality depending on movie and Manu duration is very important
• Use of high quality brand of DVD - is important - I use Verbatim DVD-R
• Type of DVD - DVD-R plays on more DVD-Players (even old ones)
• Burn speed - I set it down to x4 - resulting in less burn errors - plays on more players
• I secure a minimum of 25Gb free space on Start-Up Mac OS hard disk as iDVD and Mac OS needs this and it can not be taked from other hard disks - has to be here.
• What You feed iDVD does matter

Is there a way in Pages to show and print all the added "comments?" (those you add by highlighting text) I am a teacher, and I would like students to be able to view my comments on printed versions of their papers. I know word displays the comments off to the side of the document, and those comments can be viewed all at once and printed alongside the document.
There doesn't appear to be a way to print conmments in either Pages or Numbers in the Mavericks versions.

I am trying to print all the PDF pages in a range of 5 pages but can only print one page at a time . . . It will print the current page only, but not all or pages 1-5. I need to go to the next subsequent page and command to print current page; continuing with this procedure until all pages are printed one at a time. Can this be overcome?
You can use printPages(1, 5), however I need to know how you print current page.

I'm having some trouble transferring audio books to my iPhone. It usually takes 3 or 4 tries to get all the parts transferred. I didn't use to have this problem - all parts would transfer in one try.

My early 2011 MBP 13" does not recognize my Sandisk 16GB 45MB/s Extreme Pro SDHC card. I have CS4 Web Premium - I am trying to look at the Adobe Cloud options for the 2015 compatible products. However...under my registered products...only Acrobat is listed...I also have the CS$ Web Premium Adobe product. When I type in the serial # from the original Adobe CS 4 dvd's package I get a "product already registered"...but I can not find it's registration on any Adobe page and it doesn't show up under registered products on the Adobe Cloud page(s)
Since it's registered...how/where do I find this verification...

Your MacBook is compatible with Mac OS X 10.6.8, which is the minimum required to install the current version of iTunes and sync devices running iOS 7. It doesn't need to be compatible with Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks.
