Is there a transaction to carryforward order plan amounts at year-end?

We use KOCO to carryforward Internal Order Budgets and KOCF to carryforward Order Committments, but is there a way to move PM Order Plan amounts from one fiscal year to the next?
The problem is that if the PM Order is linked to a WBS Element, the remaining plan amount from the previous year stays on S_ALR_87013558 Project Report, even when actual costs for the order are incurred in the following year.  In this scenario the Project Assigned Total is overstated, because the order costs are in the Actual column and the RemOrdPlan column.
Any help would be appreciated ...
Thanks,

Do you have any back plan prepared for Asset year end closing especially t.code AJRW and AJAB (running this in Background).
what back up plan we should recommend if it fails for already happened activities.

    Hi Shanu,
    there is a Test-run modus.
If it fails for some reasons, you will get a error message. Then you solve this error and repeat  AJRW or AJAB.

Let's assume that Current PL Leave is Quota 10 (linked to Time Type 9010), that PL Leave Balance is Quota 12 (linked to Time Type 9012) and that PL Encashment is Quota 14 (linked to Time Type 9014), and that they all have the same validity dates.
Create a PCR that is activated on the last day of the validity period of PL Leave Quotas (for the relevant ESG Grps and PSA Grps).  The Quota 10 Balance is transfered to Time Type 9011, and the Quota 12 Balance is transfered to Time Type 9013.
Create a PCR that is activated on the first day of the validity period of PL Leave Quotas (for the relevant ESG Grps and PSA Grps).  Yesterday's value of TT 9011 and 9013 are added together, the sum is checked against the Constant (from V_T511K) holding the maximum transferable, and the lesser of that balance or the maximum is transfered to Time Type 9012, any excess being transfered to Time Type 9014.
I have never created "Automatic Encashment", but I believe that it could be created by substituting the creation of TT 9014 by the creation of the Time Evaluation Wage Type 9014 in table ZL (and not having a Quota 14).  In Payroll Calculation, that WT could then be valuated and paid.

  • Is there any provesion to convert  multiple planned order to one PR

    hi,,
i want to know is there any provesion to convert multiple planned orders to one PR .let it may create as different line item in PR. if is there please let me know
    thanks in advance
    regards
    madan

    Hi madan,
i dont think there is any way of clubbing multiple planned orders into single PR.  Like Taj suggested, you could decrease the number of planned order created thro MRP run by working on different strategies on your lot sizing key / procedure.
Also, i am assuming here that you want to club the planned orders of a single material into a single PR and also it is no way related to different account assignments.
The other way possibly u could do it is, do a Z programme and modify your MD15 transaction.  This idea is bit vague, possibly the forum could build on it.

  • Transaction to maintina Billing Plan for Sales order item

    Hi All,
Is there any transaction other than VA01/VA02 to maintian Billing plan for Sales order item.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Rajanidhi Rajasekeran.

It is possible to maintain Billing Plan in Sales Document Type (VOV8), as well as Item Category level (VOV7). As you want it at Item level, maintain the same in Item Category Configuration at Item level & it will by default be captured in Sales Order at Item level.
    Step 1: Sales Document Type
IMG > Sales and Distribution > Sales > Sales Documents >
    Sales Document Header:
    1. Sales Document Type:The sales document types represent the different business transactions, such as Inquiry, Quotation, Sales Order, etc. To create new sales order type, always copy as with reference to similar sales order. If possible use standard sales order.
    2. Define Number Ranges For Sales Documents: Maintain number range with discussion with core team.
    3. Assign Sales Area To Sales Document Types:
    A. Combine sales organizations / Combine distribution channels / Combine divisions: Ensure to maintain these, else Sales Order creation will give error.
    B. Assign sales order types permitted for sales areas: Assign only required Sales Order Types to required Sales Area. This will minimize selection of Sales Order Type as per sales area.
    Sales Document Item:
    1. Define Item Categories: If possible use Standard Item Category. Incase if required to create new, copy as from standard & maintain New.
    2. Assign Item Categories: If possible, use standard. Formula for deriving item category: Sales Document Type + Item Category Group + Usage + Higher Level Item Category = Item Category

  • Internal Order Plan Line Items not appearing in KOBP

    Hi,
I have entered internal order plan using transaction KPF6.  I can then see it in reports like S_ALR_87012993, S_ALR_87012996, etc.  In these reports, when I double-click on an item, it opens up another window which enables us to select order actual line items, order plan line items, etc.  Once I click on order plan line items, system automatically takes me to transaction KOBP and displays the line item.
What is surprising is, instead of going thru all the above, if I directly execute transaction code KOBP, I do not see the plan line item.  I have seen a similar issue in another forum (link hereunder) and apparently the issue there was with planner profile.  In my case, I am sure I have entered plan and trying to retrieve the line item (using KOBP) with the same planner profile.
Internal orders - Plan Line items are not uploading into SAP!!
I have also checked that the authorization group assigned to the planner profile is blank and that is the authorization group my user ID is assigned to.
    Any thoughts!
    Thank you,
    Srikanth

    Hi Srikanth Tamma,
After going through you thread, I have tried entire process in my system and it is working fine....
    I don't see any problem...
Are you using BAPI or Excel Upload for your planning?

  • Authorization for "Accept Quotation" Business Transaction in Service Order

    Hello All,
I need of Authorization Control for doing "Accept Quotation" business transaction in Service Order.
    Process goes as follows.
Service Order created with Planned cost components with DIP Profile
Service Quotation got created through DP80
Then, Accept Quotation will be done in Service Order
    Release of Service Order
    Execution, Billing, etc.,
Here, I want to control of doing "Accept Quotation" by only authorized people.
I couldn't find any suitable Authorization Object under I_VORG_ORD under field BETRVORG.
We can control that business transaction through User status. Is there any other standard object available to achieve this??
Hope I am clear in my query & looking forward your suggestions.
    Thanks in advance.

    Maheswaran KD
Sorry, but I can't check at this client as we are not using CS processes.
Try popping into debug mode using "/H" and put a break-point on "authority-check" before continuing.
The program should now stop at all authorisation checks. See if any of these are suitable.
If not, then you may need to use a user-exit or BADI.

  • Remaining Order Plan.....No SAP Notes Please....

    Hi Everyone,
I want someone who really understands Remaining Order Plan to validate if my understanding of it is correct or not. If it is not correct, I would like someone to explain it. I am not finding satisfactory answers from any SAP PS consultant yet, on Remaining Order Plan. Whenever, I ask this question, they say, they will get back with the answer and the next thing you know is that they have disappeared into Aladdin's Magic Lamp.
        I understand that,
Assigned = Actual Costs + Commitment + Remaining Order Plan.
I believe that Remaining Order Plan, basically is the value, that is deduced when we assign activities to WBS elements, and arrive at a certain figure called Planned Costs. At this point, All WBS elements have the status CRTD, .i.e., created.
So at this stage (CRTD Status), I believe that, Assigned = Planned Costs, or we can also say that,
Rem Ord Plan = Planned Costs.
Now, Once we have released the WBS Elements, Actual Costs are going to be incurred, and we are gonna have additional commitments, apart from planned commitments, (realizing that we missed some commitments we had to assign while creating the plan during CRTD Status).
So, Now during (REL Status), i.e., Released Status, the formula for Assigned would look like this.
Assigned = Actual Costs + Commitments + Remaining Ord Plan.
Now, Referring to the  Assigned Formula, in both the CRTD and REL status, lets analyze how Remaining Order Plan behaves.
In the Released Status, if Actual Costs = 0 &
                                              Commitment =  0 &
                                              then,
                                              Assigned = 0 + 0 + RemOrdPlan.
                                      ==>  RemOrdPlan = Plan Costs
                                   Hence, Assigned = Planned Costs.
As real costs are incurred (i.e., Actual & Commitments), values move from RemOrdPlan to Actual & Commitments Columns, or say they are apportioned appropriately to these two columns, and what is still remaining of the Planned Costs we would term that Remaining Order Plan.
Suppose, Actual + Commitment  = Planned Costs, at some stage in the project, It means, we havae reached the threshold value of the Planned Costs, and the combination of both Actual + Commitment, can cross the planned costs. ( not in all cases, but maybe in some cases, as no one can plan a project ideally anyhow ).
Once the threshold value of Planned Costs has reached, it would mean that RemOrdPlan is completely apportioned appropriately to both Actual and Commitment Columns. Hence, the Assigned column would look like this...
            Assigned = Actual ( % of Rem Ord Plan) + Commitment ( Remaining % of Rem Ord Plan ) + 0.
Here, 0 means, zero value in Remaining Order Plan, as it has distributed its values to Actual and Commitment in a certain percentage depending on how the project was executed.
Now, During one of the projects, I have noticed that,
if Planned costs was 100,000 during CRTD stage, they were distributed, in a certain percentage like say,
10 % to Actual & 25% to Commitment. Hence, 65 % is still left with RemOrdPlan Column.
               Hence , Assigned = 100%,
The problem is that, When you see, the System status, it shows, ISBD, Insufficient Budgeting, even if there is the same 65% amount available in the RemOrdPlan column. My argument, is that, when RemOrdPlan is something still consumable, how can the system show insufficient budgeting, ISBD status, when there is still 65% in Rem Ord Plan, and that same amount available in WBS element, (via budgeting transactions).
Moreover, the Available Column should show the same amount as RemOrdPlan, that is 65% of the amount, but it does not. Because, in reality, RemOrdPlan is what is available, and still left to be consumed, until it becomes zero. I think, this concept is confusing all the project engineers who are SAP PS, users.
Please, can anyone throw more light on the above arguments.
    Regards,
    Owais.....

    Dear Owais,
Let me try to explain my understanding about availability control and residual order plan =) hope it'll help
Status ISBD is set for any activity which is relevant for availability control which increase the assigned value not actual value.
If you include the activity group 02 (Orders for project) in your availability control setting then any increase you make in order plan value will trigger the availability control ergo it will set the ISBD status if the value exceeds the tolerance limit even it's still a plan value, not an actual value yet
IMO, if the system shows the 65% of the amount in Available column, user will assume that that amount is free to use while in fact the value is already 'reserved' only for material/activity which has been planned, user can't post any cost outside what has been planned
Please correct me if I'm wrong =)

  • CN41N and S_ALR_87013533 report not showing Production order planned cost

    Hi Experts,
I am having issue to get total planned production order values in my CN41N or S_ALR_87013533 cost report. I am facing 2 issues :
    1. CN41N repoet does not show individual material cost planned in BOM.
    2. CN41N report and S_ALR87013533 report does not show total value but only picking fixed value.
    Example :
    1. CN41N report :
Above screenshot shows no values in Project plan cost & Order cost column but it shows total cost as a lumpsum on top for project. I need to know how can i get material cost populated here for Project Valuated stock material?
    2. S_ALR_87013533
This report shows Total Cost of BOM as 1 line under Material Procurement activity similar to CN41N report. Also Order value is picking from Fixed cost from planned order and total cost is added on top. How can i get Total cost picked from production order?
Is there any Setting in PS config which allow me to pick the detail production order plan cost in both report under planned cost.
    Thanks in advance.
    Ashish

    Hi Ashish,
I doubt whether Item level reporting  in S_ALR... (hierarchy report) is possible or not because I haven't seen item level cost in them only the lump-sum cost because they are summarized at cost object level itself. Navigation path are there which we use to go into details of cost.

  • Is there any transaction code for uploding logo in ALV reports.

is there any transaction code for uploding logo in ALV reports.

    hi,
    call function 'REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE'
           exporting
                it_list_commentary = t_header.
                i_logo             = 'Z_LOGO'.
    endform.
    Upload Logo for REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE
For those who wish to upload and use a picture in your ALV abap reports.
    Steps for uploading Logo :-:
    1. Goto the transaction OAER
    2. Enter the class name as 'PICTURES'
    3. Enter the class type as 'OT'
    4. Enter the object key as the name of the logo you wish to give
    5. Execute
    6. Then in the new screen select Standard doc. types in bottom window
    Click on the Screen icon
Now, it will ask for the file path where you have to upload the logo
    7. Now you can use this logo in REUSE_ALV_COMMENTARY_WRITE
    or
Import Logo and Background Picture for Reporting
In this step, you can import a customer-specific logo and a background picture into the R/3 System. These will be displayed in the header area of reports in HR Funds and Position Management.
    From the SPRO:
HR Funds and Position Management --> Dialog Control --> Customize Reporting Interface --> Import Logo and Background Picture for Reporting.
    Activities
    1. Enter the Name of your logo/background picture as an object key in the initial screen.
    2. Make sure that the class name is PICTURES, and the class type is OT.
    3. Choose Execute.
    4. Double-click the document type Picture on the Create tab page. A dialog box will appear in which you can enter the path in which the logo/background picture can be found.
    5. Enter the path and choose Open. The logo will be uploaded into the current R/3 System. If the logo/background picture is to be transported into other systems as well, choose Transport.
    6. Return to the initial screen and repeat the procedure after having entered the Name of your background picture as an object key.
Please note that the logo/background picture can only be displayed in ALV-based reports with an HTML header. Manually programmed reports such as business distribution plans are not based on the ALV.
If you have selected several initial objects, ALV-based reports in HR Funds and Position Management will automatically use a hiearchical-sequential display. A logo is not displayed here either. Note also that the logo cannot be printed (see print preview in program).
Make sure that the logo does not exceed a height of 100 pixels because it would mean that the header of the report will be scrollable.

  • Service Order Planned Costs and Cost Center Planned Line Items

    Experts,
I am curious of Service Order Planned costs, and whether or not these planned costs are being posted to the Cost Center linked to the Service Order Operation's work center.
I am a but puzzled as I don't see any planned costs from any Service Order Operation in a cost center linked to the Operations work center, when reviewing "Cost Centers: Plan Line Items" report.
    BR,
    Cenk

The planned costs were input in one of the Service Order operations as planned hours. There is a column for it in the operations list. The amount of hours have incurred a planned cost on the Service Order header.
I simply assumed that this cost would be credited to the Cost Center linked to the operation's Work Center. But that is obviously not the case. I am not familiar with the PLICC field and the functionality it provides.
    Thanks!

Can we have the possibility to preview PO data before print it? We need your advise u2026
    Best regards

    Hello ,
1.For the first question of printing multiple PO's at the same time you can use the report RSPPFPROCESS using SE38 transaction. You have the possibility of defining the PO number range that you want to output in one Go.
    2. There is no possibility to preview and print in 'Issue Purchase Order' transaction. You can achieve the same  only in 'Process Purchase Order' (BBP_POC) transaction .
