Is there a version of Pages which is compatible with Mac OS X 10.75?

I need to print out a Microsoft Word document.  I'm told that Pages will do it, but the App store just has one for OS 10.9

Don't bother buying anything. Use TextEdit or a free product such as OpenOffice to print the document.

  • Is there a version of iTunes that is compatible with Windows 8.1?

Is there a version of iTunes that is compatible with Windows 8.1?

Thanks! The procedure worked great for me (using iTunes 10), however there was one caveat. I also had to edit “AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi” with Orca and change the entry in “LaunchCondition” from
    VersionNT64>=600
    to
    VersionNT64>=501
in order for the Device Manager driver update procedure to work, and iTunes to recognize my iPhone4. Prior to doing this, only “digital still camera” was displayed in the “imaging” entry in Device Manger. Once I did the above, “Apple Mobile Device USB Driver” was listed, and the procedure worked as written.

  • Is there a version of iTunes that's compatible with XP Pro x64?

At this time I don't want to upgrade to Win 7 or go back to 32-bit XP, since iTunes is the only application I'm having trouble with and I like XP Pro x64 in all other ways. Is there either a version of iTunes that's compatible with XP Pro x64, or can one of the other versions be modified to make it compatible? Thanks.

  • What is the most recent version of Firefox which is compatible with a PowerMac G5 (PPC) running OS X 10.5.8?

Running Firefox 3.6.3 on my aging machine, I got a dialog telling me that I should upgrade. I did. When the update was complete, and the application restarted, I was running Firefox 3.6.24, and shown a page saying:
“Thanks for downloading Firefox, but this version is out of date. Unfortunately your computer's operating system isn't compatible with the most current Firefox learn more, but you are encouraged to download the most recent version that is compatible instead.”
Clicking the link to the “most recent version” took me to a page which said:
“Firefox 3.6.x will be maintained with security and stability updates for a short amount of time. All users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox.”
There was no other suggested version linked to that page, and the latest version of Firefox is, of course, NOT compatible with my machine.
Mozilla is confusing me here. Why did Firefox drop back within v. 3.6.x from the version I was already running? Why does the site suggest upgrading to an apparently non-existent “latest compatible version” without providing a link to its suggestion?

I want to use the most recent version of Firefox I can. However, I am using a Mac with operating system 10.4.11 with a PPC chip.
What version of Firefox could I use and where can I find that version to download.

Firefox 4 and later require at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

  • Can I download a version of iBooks that is compatible with iPad iOS 5.1.1?

I would like to view .pdf files on my iPad iOS 5.1.1
Is there a version of iBooks that is compatible with this operating system that I can download?
Or is there a better app for this purpose?

    Try this.
Download iBooks from the App Store to your iTunes library on your computer. It doesn't matter that is the newest version.
Then, on your iPad, in the App Store, click on Purchased tab to find the iBooks app.
Tap on the Not on this iPad button at the top.
You'll see iBooks with the Cloud icon next to it
Tap on the Cloud and you'll be given an option to download a version that will run on iOS 5.1.1

  • VMWare Fusion version 3.1.3 compatible with MAC OS X Lion

Hi, does anybody know if VMWare Fusion version 3.1.3 is compatible with MAC OS X Lion? I need to emulate windows 7 on my mac. Thanks!

    Hi Andreas
Your message prompted me to have a quick check at my own VM network settings.  I've got a Win7 BootCamp partition based VM, and 2 Linux VM's running DocuWiki and Squiz.  On each of these I'm using bridged connections without issue.  After my initial problem with Fusion after my upgrade my VM network connections had changed to NAT.  All I had to do was change these back and specify Ethernet as the transport (I'm not one for using autodetect settings).
It may be that your DHCP server is needing a reboot.  I've got a Netgear router on my network here that acts as my DHCP source and I have on occasion had to restart that to kickstart IP address allocations again.  I would try putting your Linux VM back to bridged networking and setting a manual IP address from your main networks IP range.  If that gets you on to your main network, then I'd try a restart on the DHCP server.

  • How do I add extra pages to template documents in the new version of pages which carry over the same formatting, borders etc?

    Hi,
Does anyone know how how to add extra pages to template documents in the new version of Pages which carry over the same formatting, borders, styles etc? In iWorks09, all styles, borders etc just used to carry over to the next page. In the new Pages, this doesn't seem to happen. Unless I'm missing something.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Everything is a matter of degree! (Speaking for myself).
Review and rate Pages 5 in the App Store and if you are interested check out all the changes here:

  • HT4168 Is there a version of Pages that allows you to paste a webpage?

Is there a version of Pages that allows you to paste a webpage into Pages and retain the text that's on the webpage?  Pages-09 drops about 90% of the web-page text, when a webpage is pasted into Pages.

    1. You can print webpages to pdf in Safari and retain all the links
    2. Pages does retain most of the formatting your problem is probably the way you selected it and insufficient width in the page to fit the layout
    3. There are some objects and code that won't translate to DTP document, Pages is not a browser
    4. If all you want is the text use command option shift v
