Is there a video converting profram better than videora

my videora ipod converter converts very well except the video and sound are off by a little bit is there anyway to fix that or should i get a new program

Hi Brian I have been using iSquint (free) to convert videos I have into a format that will work with my iPod. You can find it at http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/28250. There is also a shareware program called Podner that does the same.

  • Is there a video converter for the N97 in the Ovi ...

Yea, so is there any video converting software for the n97?? by Ovi Suite?
    n97.

The answer to your question is no, there is one in PC Suite, which is very simple to use. But I use QuickMedia Converter, and there are 100's of similar conversion programmes on the web, all you need to do is convert video into MP4 and drag and drop to E.
    Good Luck
PS there are LOADS of threads on video conversion on the forum, just try the User Search

  • Are there any other ext. soundcards better than SB Live! for recording?

    Hi everyone,
About a year or so ago, I purchased the Soundblaster Live! 24-bit external
    I record from
Guitar --> Amp--> SB Live! --> Adobe Audition
The tones I get are decent I guess, but I have found that my tone gets stripped down from what I am hearing from the amp. The sound out of the amp will sound crisp, but once I record into audition and playback, it sounds very choppy and dry.
My question is, is this the best or are there other ext. soundcards that can get me a better tone?
Also, when I record, I plug into line-in in the soundcard, and in adobe, I select the soundcard and record from there. Are there any configurations I should try to see if I can get a better tone? Thanks everyone for your help.

Alright great thanks, I will look into those.
I am a noobie when it comes to cards sorry.
How does my SB Live! compare to the X-Fi Elite Pro? That seems to be external, yet it also has the PCI card in which you would have to install it into the computer right? How does that work?
And also how does my SB Live! compare to the Audigy 2 ZS?
    Thanks for the help.
I am looking at the M-Audio Revolution 7.1 PCI Surround Recording Card from Musiciansfriend, it was the best rated. and I was wondering can I install that on a Dell Inspiron 9100 Laptop or do I need the card that is specialized for a laptop?Message Edited by oldspice891 on 09-02-2006 02:38 AM
X-Fi Elite Pro is a PCI type soundcard w/ external I/O console so, you can't use it w/ a laptop. M-Audio Revolution cards, 5.1 and 7.1 are PCI type soundcards too (here are USB/FirewWire models listed). The only Creative SB Audigy 2 laptop models are Audigy 2 ZS Notebook (PCMCIA) and Audigy 2 ZS Video Editor (USB) and Audigy 2 NX (USB). You find technical information for those from Creative web. The Notebook model is the only from those that has ASIO support (other supports ASIO through WDM/KS wrappers (like USB-ASIO (~50US$) and Asio4All (freeware) drivers)
W/ laptop you can use only USB, FireWire and CardBus/PCMCIA audio devices.
There are not many CardBus/PCMCIA cards available, and the only low budget PCMCIA card is Audigy 2 ZS Notebook. E-MU has two excellent models 1616 and 1616M but the prices are much higher than Aydigy has. Other available CardBus/PCMCIA cards are ECHO Indigo (two models) and couple (expensive) Digigram models.
As FireWire (IEEE1394) interface, there are models starting from around 100US$ (Behringer), but I would rather recommend devices around 300-450US$ (there are many excellent models w/ and/or w/o mic pre-amps, etc.). FireWire type devices are better from USB devices because of lower CPU consumption and faster throughput. Also w/ 3rd party drivers you can connect/use several FireWire audio devices simultaenously.
An USB device is perhaps the cheapiest way to go. There are plenty of models available so you just need to place your requirements and find the one.

  • Is a Video Card Much Better Than Sandy Bridge Integrated Graphics?

    Windows 7 Pro 64bit
Does Photoshop benefit much from an Intel Sandy Bridge I2500K CPU computer having a video card?
The Sandy Bridge CPU, of course, has greatly improved on-board graphics compared to prior incarnations of Intel's CPUs.
If a video card is useful for PS, how powerful ought it be to achieve a good cost/benefit ratio, or which one is recommended? (the so-called sweet spot of price and performance)
Does it matter whether it's an AMD or NVidia type?

Do either of you two (Silent785 or Mylenium) have personal experience with a Sandy Bridge integrated GPU?  Just wondering.
I have not evaluated a Sandy Bridge GPU myself.

I've found that you want a video card that scores at least 500 on this benchmark for best Photoshop performance, ideally 1000 or more:
    http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/
The specific card I'd recommend right now today is a VisionTek ATI Radeon HD 6670 1 GB GDDR5, because it's a great compromise between quiet/low power operation and high rendering speed.
As an OpenGL developer of 2D graphics software myself, I can tell you that in my experience ATI makes the best structured, most stable display drivers (and are least likely to break something with a new release), followed fairly closely by nVidia.  Intel has been a distant third, but one can imagine that if they're integrating GPUs on their processors now that they might better-fund a development team to make their OpenGL implementations more solid.

  • Video converter in OSX

Is there a video converter...to convert quictime movies into DVD format MPEG2 for instance provided in Panther or do I need to get a third party app?

    Gothboy,
Sorry you didn't receive any help with your question here before. You probably would have received some help in the QuickTime forum as that has many users who are very knowledgable in using it.
Quicktime video is mov format, but DVD is MPEG-2 format, so you need to get a converter to convert your videos, then use a burner to burn them to DVDs.
If you search "quicktime converter" or "free quicktime converter" in Google, you will find numerous converters for doing what you want. Sorry, I can't recommend one over the other as I haven't used them myself.
    hope that helps some,

  • HT1771 why did apple erase ichat? its so much better than messages and now I cant video chat with my ichat buddies

why did apple erase ichat? its so much better than messages and now I cant video chat with my ichat buddies!!!

    HI,
    Apple did not erase iChat.
Messages in Mountain Lion is iChat +
The plus bit is the fact you can iMessage iOS devices.
All the other features that were in iChat are still there.
If you upgraded Lion to get to Mountain Lion then in System Preferences > Mail, Contacts and Calendars you probably list all the iChat Accounts (Screen Names and IDs).
You may need to enable them for Messages.
They should also show up in Messages Menu > Preference > Accounts
Once those accounts (AIM and Jabber) are Enabled they can be viewed in a Combined Buddy List
Windows Menu > Buddies (Or using CMD + 1 Keystrokes)
In the General Section of the Preferences you can Unlink these Buddy lists.
The Green icons or highlight a Buddy and then using the Buddies Menu or the icons at the Bottom of the Buddy list can be used the same way to start Video or Audio Only chats.
The iMessage "Account" is only for texting iOS devices or other people using their Apple ID on a Mac in Messages.
It is an account "in addition to" rather than "taking over from" the services that iChat can join.

  • HT202299 Is there a way to automatically upload videos that last more than 5 minutes on icloud ?

I saw that icloud has a limitation of 5 minutes on the videos :
Is there a way to automatically upload videos that last more than 5 minutes from iphoto/photos ?
I'm trying to find a way to store my photo library on the cloud, AND keep to acces to each photos/videos from the net (not just storing the .iphotolibrary on the icloud folder) but i cant do it for the videos of more than 5min ...

I believe you are probably referring to iCloud photo sharing. If you wait a while, the next version of Yosemite will include the new Photos application which will sync video through the iCloud photo library feature.

  • How can I download a video from the net? is there is any special download softwear than realplayer?

how can I download a video from the net? is there is any special download softwear than realplayer?

There are a variety of file formats for storing and sending video. You will probably want to install VLC, which handles most open formats. RealPlayer is used on their proprietary format.

  • HT1382 Is there anyway to convert video taken by ipad and burn it to a DVD that can play on DVD player?

Is there anyway to convert video taken by ipad and burn it to a DVD that can play on DVD player?

    Persius,
Nearly every DVD that will play on a set-top player *should* play on a computer, provided two things:
1.) the computer has a DVD player that can handle that flavor of DVD media, DVD RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD DL, etc.
2.) the computer has a software player installed. This feature has been removed from some common media players. You may need to locate, download and install a separate software player.
There could be another discussion on interlaced vs progressive scan media, but I'll let you ask that question.

  • Are there any xml parsers better than xerces?

hi, I need to find an efficient parser for my project. I am currently using the Xerces1.4.4 parser from Apache. Are there any xml parsers better than xerces? Do I need to change any code if I switch to a new parser?
    Thanks!!!

I have not seen any comparisons but an XML parser (both sax and dom) now comes standard with java 1.4. You'll probably need to change your code but you won't have to ship Xerces with your app.

  • I've lost my photos (crashed hdd, iPhoto library on Time Machine corrupt too).  Is there a way to create a picture from the thumbnail that remains in iPhoto?  The quality is obviously poor, but better than nothing.

Time machine should have a good copy - how are you determining that it is corrupt
If you want the thumbnails as photos right click on the iPhoto library and make a copy of the data folder and then import it into a new iPhoto library - it contains your thumbnails

  • Is there any official video converter for itunes?

Guys, i have an old videos with 3gp, wmv, and flv format. I wanna put it in my iphone but i can't even put it in to itunes. As far as i know, itunes have a auto converter but the latest one did not. Please advice and thanks before..

iTunes supports only mov, m4v and mp4 formats.  You will have to use a third party software to convert other formats into mp4 or m4v.
You may consider a Free version of Any Video converter.  You can download from here:
