We are thinking of posting many videos on building AFCS applications along with the SDK. However, as of now, you can look at the blogs and they might have some videos.

It gives you an overview of building AFCS applications. A number of things have changed since we keep updating the SDK as well as adding new features and fixes. However, this video will give some idea.

OS X can natively read NTFS of Windows, but not write to it.
Windows can't read or write to HFS+ of OSX, and that's a good thing from a security standpoint.
Ideally if you share files between operating systems you should have a FAT/MSDOS formated USB key or hard drive. (exFAT external drive if any of your files are over 4GB in size) both these formats are universal for OS X or Windows.
If you install software into Windows and OS X to read each others formats, then you have to pay to update/upgrade it deal with headaches.
If you swtich between Windows and OS X a lot, don't need full hardware performance for Windows, you may consider installing virtual machine software like VMFusion or Parallels which can take a copy of your Windows in Bootcamp and place it into OS X as a file then run that copy of Windows in a window in OS X like so.
Advantage here is you run most of your light weight Windows programs like this at the same time as OS X.
Benefit is you can run just about any Windows or Linux version and OSX server editions (not client versions)
Bootcamp only allows Windows 7, that's it now.
You'll also be interested in two fre pieces of software, Carbon Copy Cloner and Winclone on macupdate.com.
CCC clones OS X partition and Winclone clones the Bootcamp partition. Valuable for you.

What happened to the window in the new Itunes where I could see my apps as they appear on my device and move them around?

In this new version of Itunes I can't find the window where I can see my apps as they appear on my device and move them from window to window on my IPad. Where did it go? I have some apps I want to add back and don't know how to do it now.

Obviously u remove itunes and setup it again. U shouldn't setup it in windows partision
There are some steps u should do :
1-u should go to ipad icon show in itunes and right click on it there icon called (transfer purchases) this will take ur apps on ur devices to itunes
2-u should backup ur device by itunes or icloud
3-go to window where U can see ur devices apps on itunes. u should sync ur application with ituns it will remove ur apps and setup it again
4-u will restore ur device from ur backup (step 2)

If I have more than one account on Thunderbird, is there a combined inbox where I can see emails from both?

I have both a gmail and private account on Thunderbird, I would like to see emails from both accounts in the same inbox, is that possible?

If both accounts use POP then, yes, you can configure either account to use the other's Inbox, or it can be set to use the Global Inbox in Local Folders to collect messages from multiple accounts.
If either account uses IMAP, then you can't safely merge them. However, View|Folders|Unified will give you a composite view which presents multiple Inbox folders in one virtual Inbox. You can build your own variants using a Saved Search.

There is a bug in Mail triggered by receiving a password-protected PDF as an attachment. According to reports, the bug is fixed in OS X 10.8.5.

You might profit from a visit to a Minneapolis Apple store. With a brand new Mac, I think they will be most helpful - not just with transferring files, but with other advice as well. And I strongly recommend you invest in a back up drive. The Apple folk can help with that as well.
