i am making intro titles.. but now that i have made all the title clips... i really feel i need to change the font style.... also the color .. ( color i can go to the color board after making it to a compound clip..) but to change the font for all the title clips at on go ,,,, what do i do ???
I really feel this will be a useful and much demanded feature... i dont know if there is a way which already exists... do let me know.. thank you..

You can make multiple selections of titles and make changes to parameters (like color, font, etc.) and have them apply to all selected titles at once. Use the Text inspector especially if you have varied titles -- it's easier.
Be careful you don't make changes you don't really want to make (changing font and size can bash the formatting of specific types of titles, like lower thirds or some of the bugs.)
If you run into the situation where a value does not appear, for example: you select several titles of all different font sizes, the size slider will look disabled. The slider might be disabled, but you can click and drag up or down on where the number should be to adjust "relative" sizes (you'll see something like +6 or -4, etc.)

Yes you can copy the content to your new machine and use Home Sharing to keep the content identical
Connect the two machines via an ethernet cable it is 3 times faster than Wifi. Turn wifi off on one machine to enforce ethernet connection
In System Preferences, Sharing turn on File Sharing
Then
Copy the music/itunes folder from the Macbook pro to the music/ folder on the imac
Both machines should now have the same library
Disconnect H the ethernet cable
Set up Home Sharing and under Settings at the bottom of the Home Sharing page. Select to transfer new purchases.
Do the same on the other machine.
Then when you r machines are connected by wifi and each time you start itunes it will transfer your new purchases

Yes and no. Some bloat as you call it is necessary to support all browsers. That said, this on-line tool takes your Flash code and converts it to valid XHTML Strict standards. In the process, the code is minimized a bit. Be sure to test in an XHTML Strict doc type page.

While it is not possible to directly print your iTunes account purchase history within the iTunes Store, you can take a screnshot of your purchase history on your computer, and then print that screenshot.

I recently upgraded my old powerbook to an iMac. I've dumped the files of my backup drive into the new iMac. Is there a way to have access to all the files (new and old computers) when logged on as the same user vs. logging in and out to access each?

Sure-glad to help you. You will not lose any data by changing synching to MacBook Pro from imac. You have set up Time Machine, right? that's how you'd do your backup, so I was told, and how I do my backup on my mac. You should be able to set a password for it. Save it. Your stuff should be saved there. So if you want to make your MacBook Pro your primary computer, I suppose, back up your stuff with Time machine, turn off Time machine on the iMac, turn it on on the new MacBook Pro, select the hard drive in your Time Capsule, enter your password, and do a backup from there. It might work, and it might take a while, but it should go. As for clogging the hard drive, I can't say. Depends how much stuff you have, and the hard drive's capacity. As for moving syncing from your iMac to your macbook pro, should be the same. Your phone uses iTunes to sync and so that data should be in the cloud. You can move your iTunes Library to your new Macbook pro

don't forget to de-authorize your iMac if you don't want to play purchased stuff there
and re-authorize your new macBook Pro
time machine is an application, and should be found in the Applications folder. it is built in to OS X, so there is nothing else to buy. double click on it, get it going, choose the Hard drive in your Time capsule/Airport as your backup Time Machine and go for it. You should see a circle with an arrow on the top right hand of your screen (the Desktop), next to the bluetooth icon, and just after the wifi and eject key (looks sorta like a clock face). This will do automatic backups of your stuff.

If you can't remember the Passcode, you need to restore the device from the computer it was last synced with.
Follow the instructions for putting the device in recovery mode > iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
If you are a resident of the U.S., have iTunes 10.3 or later installed, and iOS 4.3.3 or later, can re download iTunes purchases for free.
So retore the iPod, then re download the iTunes media.

Whenever the development servers are refreshed with production data, it's required to reset the passwords for the all the entries. I know one way is to run ldapmodify which takes an ldif file having password attribute and new value for an entry. Just wondering, if there's a simpler or direct way to reset passwords. Thanks. The only simpler way I know is to export to ldif, use sed or another editor and re-import the ldif file.
Probably faster as well, depending on the number of entries.

Is there a way to install Photoshop without all the crap?

I noticed when installing the Adobe Photoshop CS6 trial, even if you check only the bare minimum number of checkboxes, it will still install tons of...crap.
e.g. Bridge, Camera Raw, Camera Raw Profile, Dynamic Link Media Server (seriously, does this sound like something anyone would want installed on their computer?), Extend Script Toolkit, Switchboard, etc.
Is there anyway to uninstall all that stuff?

Whoa man, calm down; relax. Why is this a most unfortunate first post? It's a serious and legitmate question. You're taking it as if I asked it to offend people.
I do use Photoshop for purposes that Illustrator might be better suited for, but that's my decision; and anyways, I'm more familiar with Photoshop.
The reason I dislike these certain parts is because I don't like having uncessary stuff installed on my computer, and I certainly don't want unecessary stuff running at start-up
...Which is exactly why I did infact disable those start-up entries and manually delete the stuff mentioned — namely, Bridge, Dynamic Link Media Server, etc. — from "Program Files" etc. And no, I did not break Photoshop or anything else (if it does break, you will be the first to know); so yes, I know perfectly well what I'm doing. I don't see how you managed to assume otherwise based off my first post.
So I asked this question in the first place because I was genuinely wondering if there was a more official way to remove that stuff (as opposed to manually deleting them). Obviously now I know there isn't, but would it have been so terrible if there was? It wouldn't hurt anyone (certainly not you), but people who didn't want something called "Dynamic Link Media Server" installed on their computer would only benefit. Obviously that's not happening anytime soon, but hey, if I knew that, I wouldn't have asked in the first place.

Is there a way to have hardware acceleration without the text font change? I remember there was a way to go into settings before and getting hardware acceleration to work without the font change. Unfortunately I lost ALL my previous setting when uninstalling the beta ver Nightly and clicking delete settings :(.
Also, I fixed a problem before where firefox was visually eye straining to me, I think it was some settings in anti-alias tuner, but I cant seem to find the right settings that puts less strain on my eyes, anyone know? Thanks ahead. Currently using FF7.

How do I change the font color in my iMovie titles?

I have selected the title, and a color from the color wheel, but the titles remain white. What do I need to do?

There are only certain titles that have that SHOW FONTS button available. When you select one of those titles....highlight your text, then push that button...you'll get a pop-up window that will give you about 9 differnt font selection, the same about of color selections and then sizes from 1-9. You just move your cursor around as you move around the highlight text in your title will change to show you what it would look like if you clicked on that FONT, COLOR or SIZE.
If you don't like those you can click on the system font panel button in the lower left hand corner and go to town there...

Hi Mary,
You have to create a format trigger for your condition. Then you can reference the format trigger inside your JSP report in the <rw:field> tag. From the Reports Builder Help, the syntax is:

[breakValue="break_value"] [nullValue="null_value"] [containsHtml="HTML_value"]
[formatMask="format_mask"] [formatTrigger="format_trigger"] [urlEncode="encode_value"] >

You need to populate the formatTrigger attribute. Pl see Reports Builder Help for more information.

Changing Font Colors on Master Slides

I really like Keynote compared to Powerpoint, but I am having a problem making one change to the master theme slides. I am able to change the look, font, etc. on the master slides of a theme, but I cannot figure out how to change the font color in the master slides. Which means that when I am using Portfolio, for instance, which I like, I have to change each slide's font color from gray to black, which is easier to read. I would rather do that on the master slides, but have been unsuccessful thus far.
Any help would be appreciated. it doesn't make sense that you could revise the masters in just about any way EXCEPT font color. So I must be missing something.

You change the font color on the master slide, the same way you change it on any other slide. Click view, then Show Master Slides, then select the slide and change it the way you do a regular slide.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
