Is there a way for iTunes to sync music not purchased from iTunes to my account from my iPhone?
I accidentally wiped out all the memory from my desktop computer, including all the music from my Window's media player and itunes. All of my favorite music is stored on my iPhone, most of which was not bought from iTunes. iTunes only synced the music I purchased directly from iTunes, but I want to know if there's a way I can get the music I didn't buy from iTunes off my iPhone and back on my computer. I apologize if that was really confusing.

Unfortuneatly, you would have to give up your unlimited plan. In the US you would have to get the 2GB plan for $25 and add the teathering plan for $20 more. The teathering plan would give you another 2GB of data for a total 4GB.

Yes, the Mac can read NTFS drives, but not write to them.
If you have the drive formatted FAT or exFAt then the Mac can read and write to it. But before formatting, remove the data as it's erased, and format it on the PC as it's easier. Right click on Windows and Format.

Moving your personal data via the external drive is likley the best option, there are other methods like Migration, but they are problematic and take a long time, a drive is simple, fast and direct. -

I have quite a lot of music on my phone that I've ripped from cds that I have. How can I get these to sync into my itunes library on my pc? I want to upgrade to the new os but will lose a lot of my music if i do.

NachanIf after researching the info in the other comments you still find that there is music that you would loose on the iPhone, there are 3rd party apps that can manage iPhone content without erasing the iPhone. Just search for a Windows alternative to iTunes.

My wife and I each have an Apple account, and we each have an iPad and iPhone. Is there any way for us to sync our calendars so that each of our appointments are on all devises?
This may not be exactly what you are looking for but my wife and I have a similar situation and all we do is invite each other to any calendar stuff we both need to know about. Another way you could do it is us a 3rd party calendaring that will duplicate all your entries on their server and your wife would do the same and setup a single account with that service that you both attach to your built in calendaring provided you give proper permissions. The one I would try is google calendaring which works well if you have a gmail account.

I've recently bought a new Macbook Pro and in my Itunes Library everything I have purchased from Itunes is in my new Itunes Library.
However I want to transfer all my music (not purchased from itunes) from my Ipad/Iphone to my new Itunes Library.... and I have absoutely no idea how to do this? Also I'm scared to press sync when my ipad is plugged into my Mac incase will loose all this music!
Help Please!The iphone/ipad/ipod is not a backup/storage device. The sync is one way - computer to iphone/ipad/ipod.
Copy everything from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer. -

Many thanks JEM24 for your help. Ive just spent the best part of six hundred pounds on a new Sony Rx100m2 compact camera, so I have no interest in the Ipods camera at all really. I doubt Ill be watching many videos on it as Im very lucky in that I have a good Android tablet. Its more as a stock music player that Ill be buying the Ipod for, if indeed I do end up buying one. I dont like the idea of paying the exorbitant amount added for more memory space that Apple along with most other companies charge. In fact I read an article on this very subject just yesterday in the tech section of Flipboard. It stated in the article that in the case of the Iphone the actual cost of each additional gigabyte of storage to Apple et al is something in the order of 60p.. This is certainly not reflected in the price us the customer has to pay at the till.. Its for this reason primarily that Apple in particular, because their products do not allow adding expandable memory of your own in the form of cheap to buy cards, that nobody in their right mind buys the 64gig etc Iphones..I am aware that we are discussing my potential purchase of an Ipod Touch here but you see my point. My family recently got a new Gateway windows 7 computer, because our old one crashed. I had to reinstall itunes, and now have absolutely no music on the computer. When I plug my ipod touch into the computer it gives me like two choices it asks if I want to sync just the songs purchased on itunes, or erase everything on my ipod and sync with my itunes library on the computer which I'm pretty sure is nothing. I would rather not have to go through the hassel of getting all the songs not purchased on itunes back onto my ipod because they are basically all from cd's. So is there anyway that I can get all the songs from my ipod back onto my computer? I don't know what to do and am on the verge of tears PLEASE HELP!!!!

Music that I have purchased from iTunes syncs perfectly to the iPhone (3GS) but the music from my library that was not purchased from iTunes (burned from a CD) will show up in the iPhone music list but does not have any artwork nor will it play that music! Currently my solution has been to delete the defunct music from the iPhone and recopy it from iTunes. The music will then play but the artwork is missing. This is a rather irritating problem. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, any are any other solutions? Thanks!
I have just noticed that I am missing songs since I upgraded to iOS5. In some cases the art work is there and the length of the song is there but it will not play. I'm going to try and resync when I get home. I'll have to check to see if the songs still exist in my iTunes??? Nothing is ever easy is it??
