Is there a way I can automatically reinsert my original HD clips back into the project after optimizing them?
Hi, I'm working on an important video project, which I filmed with my Canon 550D in HD. Initially, I wanted to maintain the HD quality but (as I am using a Macbook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo) it proved to be impossible to edit. I then subsequently optimised the footage to Large 960x540 and easily continued my work. And so now I am quite close to the hand-in date and while the video is fine as is, I was wondering if there was a way to reinsert the original HD footage now that I've finished editing (I still have them in the 'iMovie Original Movies' folder) so it automatically 'swaps' itself with the edited footage?

This error sounds to me like you have/had BootCamp Windows installed and then removed, posible ?
If so (and even if not so), try restating your MBA while holding down the alt/option-key until you get to the Boot Selection Screen.
Choose to boot OSX.
Once in OSX go to System Preferences then Startup Volume and set your OSX to be the default.

I am not very tech oriented - I love my Ipod - had a library of 800- 900 songs - my computer was stolen, I have since bought a new one - started a new library because I could not figure out how to access my old library. Is there any way I can somehow find that original library and add it to my new library??

Most of my music is from CDs that I don't have anymore. I've got over a thousand songs and most of them were deleted when my computer crashed. Is there any way I can get my music from my ipod back onto my computer? Any sort of program you can buy? Thanks for any help, I really appreciate it!

When restoring from the backup, whatever is included with the backup from two days ago should be restored which includes photos/videos in the Camera Roll at the time of the backup along with all other data included with the backup at the time of the backup two days ago.

I've been working on a newsletter and have the final version. But I wanted to check something in a verssion I did last week. If I choose the day in Time Machine, is there any way I can view that document without "restoring" it to replace the final version?
You can drag and drop a file from TM to the desktop.
Let's say your newsletter is on the desktop. First thing to do is to add something to the file name, say Newsletter_1.
Next open TM as if it is just another external drive by double clicking the icon. (This is not the same as "Enter Time Machine" which you do when you want to restore.) The file hierachy in TM follows the same logic as on your hard drive. Navigate to the date you want, find the file you want, and drag and drop it where you want it to be. Because you changed the name of the most recent version you can both files in the same space.
I do this often.
But remember if you make a back up now you will end up with both versions in TM. -

It cannot be installed. It comes pre-installed on every iPhone 4S and later. Maybe it was disabled under Settings > General > Restrictions.

iOS 6 only added support for the 3rd generation iPad. It was always on the iPhone 4S. Then the same goes for your boss: Maybe disabled in restrictions, or maybe actually an iPhone 4. -
I synced my sisters phone with my itunes and now all her contacts have disappeared and been replaced with mine and also photos... she has never done a back-up is there any way we can get all her contacts and pictures back?
Look under iTunes>Preferences>Devices...is there a backup listed for her phone? First thing done when you sync is an iPhone backup. If you have not synced since screwing her phone up, restoring from that backup(if it exists) should restore her content. Do not sync after you restore her phone, eject it. So, first disable auto-sync on that same device pane in iTunes before you proceed. If this doesn't work, is your sister bigger than you? If so, run 'cause her data is gone .

Is there a way to link or create a widget that links back to the iTunes U app on your iPad from your iBook?
I have already found the Apple Widget Builder (http://widgets.itunes.apple.com/builder/) and that works fine if you want to link to the "App Store", but I want to know if there is a way to "open an app" that is already installed on the iPad instead of double tapping the home button to switch between apps. (I know using the home button is very simple, but I am trying to find an even easier way to just "tap a widget" or "link" that will open iTunes U right up) I am only asking if this is possible for people who may have a hard time running an iPad at the beginning.

PierreThere is no way to go back from an XFA form to an Acroform even with Acrobat Pro, still less with Acrobat. You either need to remake the form, or change your plans to use a third party viewer - Adobe have an excellent range of programs they would like you to use!

The contents of the Music app aren't included in a device's backup. If you can't remember your id then do you have any its purchases on your computer's iTunes library ? If you do then selecting one of them and doing 'get-info' (control-I) should show the account id that bought it on the Summary tab. Or you can try this page http://iforgot.apple.com
If you haven't got a copy of your iTunes purchased music anywhere (e.g. on your computer's iTunes or on a backup of your library) then you might be able to redownload it via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your iPad and the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes. -
