Is there a way I can save switch settings so when I reopen a Labview exe it remembers how I set my switches?

We are using Labview to create a exe file. However when a user reopens the exe all the user settings in the labview exe are lost. These settings are mostly switches either turned on or off. I would like to find a way so that once the switches are set each time you reopen the exe file the switches are as you left them set.
I am very new to Labview so any help would be very much appreciated.

I think your best bet is go to the File I/O>Configuration File VIs and create an .ini file. When you program starts, it would read the file and set the controls using local variables. Then, prior to exiting, get the control values and write them to the file. You could even read and write different files - allowing for a whole lot of different configurations to be saved. In the shipping examples, go to Fundamentals>File Input and Output>Read Configuration Settings File.vi and Write Configuration Settings File.vi to get a basic idea of how the functions are used.

The guts of my computer were rearranged and I got a new main hard drive. My old one is still in there and I can get stuff from it, but when I go to the Mozilla folder on the old one, I can't figure out if there's anything I can do to get all my bookmarks from that drive to my new one, where Firefox is newly installed.

If you open Firefox then Firefox will always use the default profile folder as found via profiles.ini on your system drive.
You either need to import the file in your current default profile or copy the file to your current profile folder while Firefox is closed.
Firefox 3 stores the bookmarks and the browser history in [http://kb.mozillazine.org/places.sqlite places.sqlite] and no longer creates an HTML backup by default.
There are also (five) JSON backups in the bookmarkbackups folder within the Firefox profile folder.
You can either copy the file places.sqlite to your [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] or import the most recent JSON backup from the bookmarkbackups folder of that old profile.

Your assumption is incorrect. Although he may not be able to download it from the App store he can download it directly for the Apple servers using the recovery partition on his original drive.
All you have to do is start the install routine and then point the install to an external hard drive. Once the download is finished the computer will reboot to start the install. At that reboot disconnect the external drive so the install can not start. Boot the computer back into the OS on the internal hard drive, which is what will happen automatically once the external drive is disconnected. Then connect the external and copy the files from it that were downloaded. Right click on that downloaded package file and select Show contents. In the contents of that package is a file called InstallESD.DMG. Copy that file out of the package and burn it down to a DVD or USB thumb drive and you now have the Full Lion Installer. I have several of them laying around on different hard drives and 2 USB thumb drives which I have used to reinstall Lion on my 15" MBP.

Recently I got an iPhone 5 and when I activated it, I lost all of my voicemails from my previouse phone. With Verizon (I'm not sure about other carrier's), they were able to provide me with a phone number where I could access my old messages. I then used a website www.SaveMyVM.com to make permanemnt MP3 backups of them.
I believe the messages only remain on Verizon's system for a few days after activating a new phone, so time I would give them a call as soon as possible.

Only the contents of the most recent sync remain on the iPad, so if you want to sync multiple folders then you need to sync them in one go - in which case the folders will need to be directly off the same parent folder (otherwise they can't all be selected). Data on the phone has absolutely nothing to do with what carrier you are using. No data is stored on the SIM at all. If you have a (legitimately) unlocked phone, all you should have to do is put your new SIM in the phone and carry on.

I am sure this is a noob question, but I do not use After Effects a ton. Partly because editing is always such a drag. I am currently working off of a 2010 mac book pro until I invest in a quality editing machine.
I know editing and playback in true resolution in real time is ideal, but my laptop cannot handle that.
