There is an effect called "censor." You can blur or pixelate a portion of any image. (Use the controls in the inspector to choose either and, of course, to manipulate other features in this particular effect.)

You can click Yes to continue downloading additional episodes. Or you can just listen to any part of any episode and a new episode will download at the next update.

I believe that feature was added in order to reduce wasted costs to the Podcaster.
Podcasts incur costs - that have to be paid for, by someone. That cost will be the cost of hosting the Podcast on a server somewhere and more crucially (with regard to your point), the cost of the Podcast being downloaded to your computer. Every download costs the Podcaster money (typically, charged by bytes downloaded).
If that Podcaster pays for the whole thing personally, obviously they want to keep down any unnecessary cost to themselves. If the Podcaster is earning money for his or her Podcast (typically from advertising within the programme) then obviously, the advertiser only wants to pay for advertisements heard by listeners. So a download, not heard by the downloader, is waste of the Podcaster's money or no payment from the advertiser.
My own experience is that I only have to resume downloading once per programme. I'm usually several episodes behind on two different Podcasts that I follow, but I do not recall having to repeat the resume Podcast after that first time.

Greetings Pheona,
That appears to be a hard drive based camecorder. Usually these mount on the desktop of your computer as a little white hard drive icon. If you go inside you should be able to find the movie files the camera is saving. See what format they are (the last 3 letters at the end of the file name is a good place to start).
You can drag the movie files from the camera hard drive to the computer to copy them. Then convert them with a video file conversion program to a format iMovie can understand.
Try converting one of the files using a video file conversion program like Video Monkey: http://videomonkey.org/downloads/
In the "Convert to" drop down menu choose "DV" (Preferred), "Quicktime", or "MP4". Then import the resulting file into iMovie and see if that works any better.
If that program can't convert the files you can try another file conversion program:

The banner usually indicates that the memo is "Paused." If you go back into voice memos, touch the word "Done" beside the big red pause button, give it a name, then it will show in a list. Touch the memo in the list then touch the trash can icon that should appear.

You can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup that iTunes makes.

If you are having issues with enabling Wifi on your iPhone you may want to try a couple of things to troubleshoot. First of all I would quit all open applications on the phone and try again. See this previous thread for how -

What do you mean the "update" says plug it into iTunes? If you have the iTunes logo/USB cord on the screen, it's in recovery mode or needs to be activated. Anything that was on the phone is already gone. You have no choice but to plug it into the computer. Hopefully, you backed it up before you started the update.
If that's not what you mean, then please explain.
Apple may or may not be able to fix the lock button for you without replacing the phone entirely. You'll have to take it in and ask.

There is nothing you can do with iMovie program itself. Slow response in usually due to a shortage of system resources (CPU, RAM and disk space).
How much free disk space do you have on your boot drive and what is the capacity of the drive?
You can check memory utilization while running iMovie using Activity Monitor (in Applications/Utilities). What does the Memory tab show for Swap used?
Are you running many other processor-intensive applications a the same time?
If you have a lot of events and projects, it will help a bit to hide the ones you are not using by moving them from your iMovie Projects and iMovie Events folders into an enclosing folder so iMovie doesn't load them.

Yes.
You may need to run the computer in XP mode to install it (you may try in normal mode first). Here is how:

Once installed, you should be able to get it to run with the PC in normal mode as follows (first run):
1) RightClick the shortcut;
2) Click Properties;
3) Click Compatibility;
4) Tick Run this program in Compatibility mode for, then select XP in the dropdown list;
5) Start AI8.
After that, you can just DoubleClick the shortcut.
Hopefully, you bought it legally (with a genuine, non registered serial number, or had a licence transfer).

Is there a way to tag faces in Lightroom that is exportable as metadata?

I'm scanning a bunch of old family photos and I want to be able to tag faces of relatives and export those names and the corresponding faces as metadata. Ideally this metadata would be in some universal format that is then readable by everything- Windows, Mac OSX, Photoshop, Powerpoint, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Is that possible via XMP?
Searchable keywords are great, but they don't go far enough. In a photo of a family reunion from 40 years ago, I need to attach each name to a specific face and know that some future family member will be able to decipher those tags 40 more years into the future.
I think everyone could benefit from this. Architectural photographers could tag each piece of furniture with the name of the designer, sports photogs could tag several athletes within each pic, wedding photographers could tag the wedding party and family members.
Is there a way to do that now? If not, is this ability coming soon?

So. I've done a lot of reading since last night, including some papers from the Metadata Working Group.
Here's what I think I've learned:
the feature I want, that I've been calling "face tagging", is called "Image Region Metadata" by software companies
Adobe created support for image region metadata within XMP
Adobe, Apple, Canon, Microsoft, Nokia and Sony founded something called the Metadata Working Group to standardize the use of increasingly complex metadata
The Metadata Working Group published a set of guidelines in Nov 2010 that included guidelines for image region metadata
As of now, only Google Picasa and Windows Photo Gallery actually support any kind of XMP image region metadata (or what I called "face tagging")
Did I get all that correct?
