For example:

this is just an example, my real scenarion is far more complicated than this... however this kind of approach break the server behavior and force to do hand-coding...

Server behaviors are simply bits of boilerplate code automatically generated by Dreamweaver. Editing the code doesn't "break" it (unless your edits are badly written). However, once you edit the code, Dreamweaver no longer recognizes it, so you lose the ability to drag recordset results from the Bindings panel.

So I'm working on this promotional binder for a company. I'm working section by section including photos and whatnot. Anyways, I got to a certain point with one section and packaged everything so I could start anew the following day.
My question is this: is there a way for me to add files to the InDesign file I already packaged WITHOUT having to repackage in a new folder and archive the old one?
I mean it just seems to me that I SHOULD be able to select the package option and the work would repackage/update the package, much like a Word file would when you select the save button.
(And if there isn't, is someone at Adobe paying attention that could make this a possibility? That would be fantastic.)

You can Add images to your package by using the Links Panel submenu (top right) and choose Utilities> copy links to...
And you can select the images you want first - or don't select any to copy them all.
Fonts - not so much.
But that's one easy way to get new images into your packaged folder.
But I don't like this to be honest. I much prefer creating a new Package and calling it "Version 2" or "Final Artwork" or something that is right by your file naming convention.

My wife's 2g stopped being able to sync to her PC some time ago. She emails photos to get them on her computer. The photos seem to loose resolution in emailing. Is there a way to get these photos without the degredation? All the wifi apps require iOS 4 which a 2g can't use and I can't restore the phone to reestablish sync because I can't back it up to begin with so we'll lose the photos. Anybody have ideas? Is there any way to turn off a PB display without sleeping the computer?

I'm using my PB G4 12" to stream audio content from the web. I just purchased 7 megabit DSL service and I use iTunes to play internet radio pretty much constantly. As a result my PB never goes into deep sleep mode anymore. The HD does seem to spin down and the display goes dim but as long as iTunes is running the display is always, at least partially, illuminated.
Is there any way to sleep the display fully without putting the remainder of the PB into deep sleep which would interrupt my internet radio stream?

Now, If you want to turn off the screen as well, you can just use the energy saver pref pane in system preferances. Here you will see the option of "set display to sleep after X min" And set computer to sleep after X min.

It is easy to move an image around within a frame without touching the frame, but I have not found a way to zoom in and out without touching the frame. I'm working with a lot of images (Indesign CS6 for PC) and I need to do this a lot. Thanks.

I don't know what is the correct terminology, but none of those things does what I want. With the Content Grabber I can move the image and see where it is going and place it where I want it, and the frame does not move and is not changed in any way. I want something that does exactly the same thing with "zooming" in and out on the image.
Shift-drag on the corners moves the frame. In the Transform panel, in the lower box, it makes the image AND the frame larger or smaller. Neither of these is what I want.
If I'm not using the right terminology, let me try to explain. If I have an image that is larger than the frame, then I can only see a small part of the image inside the frame. If I could zoom out on the image, I would then see a larger part of the image in the frame, but the frame would be exactly the same size and in exactly the same place (just like it would be when you use the Content Grabber). If I could zoom in on the image, then I would see less of the image but in more detail.
If I could move (like the Content Grabber) AND zoom without doing anything with the frame, then I could get the image just the way I want it inside an already-properly-placed frame in the most straightforward and simple manner, and be able to see what I was doing in the process. Dragging on the corners is basically trial and error because you have to go through several steps before you see the final result.

Is There A Way To Republish A Report In CMC Without Deleting The Object?

We're using Business Objects Enterprise 11.5 to manage over 700 reports. Right now, whenever a user requests a change to a report (which happens several times a week) we go into CMC and delete the object completely, and create a new one. This seems pretty wasteful.
It seems to me like there should be some "Browse" function somewhere that would allow us to grab an updated .rpt file and replace the current one, but for the life of me I can't find it.

Crystal Reports needs to connect to the CMS, which by default listens on 6400. You can't force it to use another port, unless the CMS also listens on that port.
As for your IT dept not wanting that port open, the Import Wizard, Publishing Wizard, every client tool needs to connect to the CMS on this port (or the port the CMS listens on).
The gist is that Crystal Reports will have to connect to the CMS on 6400 (in your case).

You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

The image displayed for a PDF is the first page of the document. If you can edit the PDF and can insert a new title page then yes, it is possible, but it's not just a case of pasting ajpg into a property dialog as it would be with an mp3 track.
