Is there a way to add text to a PDF?

Hello,
I need to generate pdf's though contact sheets I make in Bridge.
But once the hundreds of images are automatically generated into PDF format,
I need to add text.
I could of course, put these images manually into Indesign, and then easily type the text,
but would just be such a time saver, if i could quickly create the image-filled pdf,
and then add text to the pdf...
Is there a way with acrobat to do this?
Or is there a 3rd party plug-in software which allows one to type a paragraph of text into a pdf?

I don't need to move images out of the way.
Images at left, and typing at right.
Nothing fancy.

Is there any way to add text or arrows onto photos in iPhoto when creating a book?

I am creating a photo book (Album), in iPhoto, in Projects. There are some place where it would be helpful if I could draw an arrow on the Photo to indicate certain places. I also would like to add text onto a photo in the book. This is as well as typing in the 'text box' provided. It needs to be on the actual photo in the book. Is this possible? I am using Version 9.5.1 which i think is the latest and i am running on Maverick on my iMac.

There is no way to add anything to the face of a photo in iPhoto at all You will need an extenral editror for that kind of work. You can add text and arrows etc with Preview, already on your Mac or with apps like these:
Seashore (free)
The Gimp (free)
Graphic Coverter ($45 approx)
Acorn ($50 approx)
Pixelmator ($50 approx)
Photoshop Elements ($75 approx)
There are many, many other options. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store.
You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.

Is there a way to add text to pdf templates?

A client of mine wanted a invoice template. I designed it in indesign with such things as Date: Company name:
and my client would like to then add the information in after the text. I hope this makes sense.
Is there a way to supply a template file using acrobat where my client can then fill in the details on the template?

This sounds like a PDF form (which will need to be finished in Acrobat Pro after export from ID). Forms can be filled in in Reader and then printed, though the more common uses would be to send the form out to other users, have them fill them in and return them to collect data.
The latter use has some licensing restictions on quantity, but as far as I know if the form is used in-house to produce an invoice and that invoice is printed and mailed, there would be no limits.

I want to add a text to a bunch of files ip converting such as:
[(sourcename)] + ["ProRes422 25fps"]
So say the original file names are:
MVI_1459.mov

MVI_1461.mov
so after export it'll be
MVI_1459 ProRes422 25fps.mov
MVI_1460 ProRes422 25fps.mov
MVI_1461 ProRes422 25fps.mov
Is there a way to do that? Like in Apple compressor?

No, there isn't an option to append something like the name of the encoding preset. You'd have to manually rename each one in the AME queue. Make a feature request here: Adobe Feature Request/Bug Report Form
You could use Bridge to Batch Rename the files, however, or any other application that lets you modify the names of multiple files in one go. Check out this help document page: Batch rename files

Is there a way to add/delete words from the predictive text options that my iPhone is giving me? I'm using an iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8.
There are specific words that are popping up in the area right above the keyboard where it displays 3 word suggestions to choose from. This area seems to suggest words that I have typed before, I'd like to remove these words. Default seems to select the word in the center and when I'm typing fast on occasion it will recommend and select words that I don't need to use.
Any help would be appreciated.

In iChat and early versions of Messages this used to be CMD + K keys together
This no longer works.
It seems CMD + K is free as a Modifier keystroke.
I would have added it as an item in System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts.
The issue with that is the fact that there is also no longer an Menu item for it. (so it does not work).
You can add a URL and then Right Click and there is an Edit option but this only allows you to change the URL and not add a URL to existing unsent text.
Right Clicking unlinked Text does not allow you to Edit it either (well there are some format option but not Hyperlinks)
I can't find away around this.
I know in the past the AIM service suffered from malicious code sent in Hyperlinks so this might be the reason.

Write a custom carousel. Usually carousel components are just ULs that use something like jQuery to rotate through the LIs. The foundation carousel component is really just designed for some specific use cases. Generally I would just recommend rolling your own.

Just discovered how to do it: Go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars, scroll down to Signature: and where it says "from my Iphone on messages - delete it and add your name, and/or phone no--whatever you like...doesn't take up much space...This is apparently the "fix" the Iphone 4S did....
It did not originally come out with that on it...now it is there - must have come in an update..

You may face challenges doing this task in Acrobat .
If you have created the PDF from word ,I would recommend doing the page numbering in Word, not Acrobat, since you have more flexibility with that program.
Or the second option is ,if you know how to play around with java script.Here is the code for the same.

Audiobooks go in Music, not ibooks. Is the book you are talking about not an audiobook but an .epub or some other format where you read text?

If you first select the calendar on the left, so that its background is highlighted blue/grey, when you make a new events they should be added to that calendar.

Change one bloody value and the prototype changes in the TestStand step... Reload the prototype and guess what happens??!!??

I am not not very famous with LV and its cluster types.
So no idea if this works (it works for DataTypes updates very well and a LV cluster is Data Type so.... maybe)
Make a copy of the step that has to be modified to an new sequencefile.
Make modifications the in the copy.
Now you should have the same DataType Name but other contents in the container. Save it.
Normally there should be a message box that tells you that version has been incremented. - Accept it.
Set in StationOptions-File "Allow Automatic ...." to Never.
Open original sequencefile. Now the there must be a type conflict. Accept/Apply to all "Use Current Loaded.."
You have updated the type.....

Is there some way I can open the contact list, click on all of the individual addresses to which I want to send the email without the list closing between each address entry, and have all of my address entries be listed to the email at one time? Something like it works in Gmail. I do not want to use set lists, I want to enter different addresses each time I send an email. And I am a very slow typist, so I don't want to type the first few letters of each recipient's name. It is much faster for me to just click on the e-mail addresses in the list as a group. It doesn't make any sense to me to have to reopen the contact list for each address, when it should be so easy to click on all of the addresses I want at one time and then click once to add them all to the email as a group. If there is a solution to this, please tell me. Thanks.

Try this:
1. Select Mail>File>New Message.
2. Select Mail>Window>Address Panel.
3. Use (command+click) on the desired addressees in the Address Panel to create the list.
4. Click "To:" on the top left of the Address Panel.
The group that you selected will be added to the "To" field in your New Message.
