Is there a way to add snooze conditions to iCal?

I've noticed that when an iCal reminder alarm pops up a window you can "snooze" the reminder alarm for a period of time. The weird thing is that some of my Macs have more options than other. Some have:
Repeat 1 day before event starts
Repeat 2 hours before event starts
Repeat 1 hour before event starts
Most all have the small set of snooze options, but only a few of my machines have these extended options and even in those machines the snooze options aren't all the same on every machine.
Is there a way to program these options so that I can use them on all of my machines?

This is my first go at this so be kind,
My question concerns launchpad. Coming from Snow Leopard I had been using spaces. I like to keep certain bundles of programs on separate desktops, for example all word processing related tasks in one place. I have set up the equivalent on Yosemite.
My problem is concerns the loss of exposé. Now I know when you swipe into launch pad you get a very similar effect but the issue I am having concerns the "zoom out" effect when you swipe into launchpad. With exposé all open apps/pages etc would be fully exposed - in my case several (sometimes as many as 9 word documents). What I am running into is when I do this in / into launch pad the "pile" of docs is exposed but they are still overlapping so I can't get a good look at which is which and visually identify where I want to navigate to.
My question is this; Is there a way to adjust the settings on launchpad so that when I swipe into it all the open apps/pages are fully separated (like in exposé) so that I can fully view all of them simultaneously? If so, instructions on how to do so would be greatly appreciated. Any alternative suggestions to doing this outside of launchpad are also welcome. If there is an exposé app for example, I would be quite willing to go that route.
My main concern is being able to quickly (ie a touchpad gesture) expand all the open pages so I can bounce between them.

Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.

Is there a way to adjust the new IOS7 calendar DAY VIEW so you just see the list of events for the day; so you don't have to scroll down all the hours of day? (want it back the old way!) Can it be adjusted?
Its really annoying the current way; when you glance at your phone you don't see all the appointments for the day, have to scroll up and down, and I end up missing things and its time consuming. Same annoying thing in WEEKLY VIEW. Is there a way to change that in preferences or something?

I am working in Adobe Premiere CS6 and all of the audio is out of wack. Is there a way to adjust all of it at the same time to the same level or do I have to go clip by clip?

I had made Feature Requests to "gang" several Track sliders, like one can with a mixing board. However, the Sub-Mixes handles that nicely, as was pointed out to me by Adobe.

When the physical keys are entering a letter twice, it will definitely be something with the hardware. Can you verify that the keys appearing twice aren't getting stuck when pressed? You should be able to feel the key returning when the pressure of the finger comes off. If they're getting stuck, please check the charging port and headset jack for corrosion and any other damage to the phone. If the phone is under warranty it may require a replacement. Please keep us posted.

Is there any way to run a timer on the presentation screen during two consecutive presentations?

I administer exams that require running two consecutive presentations and interact with the person being tested. With each candidate we use two different presentations, so I can't just make only one presentation. Is there a way to have a timer display on the presentation screen through both presentations? Each person only has thirty minutes to get thru both presentations. If one only takes ten minutes, then they have twenty for the final one. I'd like to get away from using egg timers.

It would be much better if you had separate drives for the pictures and Time Machine backups.....but, if you want to use the same drive for both purposes, temporarily move the folder with the pictures to another location for safe storage.
Run the Time Machine backup on the hard drive and verify that everything is working correctly. Time Machine will format the disk for you in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) as part of the backup process.
Then move the folder with the pictures back to the hard drive with the Time Machine backups.
When you have tested to make sure that everything is working again, then and only then should you delete the folder with pictures from the temporary storage area.
Again....it would be much better to keep Time Machine backups on a drive just for that purpose, and other data on another drive for that purpose. This is clearly one of those times when the fact that you can do something does not mean to imply that you should do it.

Do you have another router? If not, then the TC must be connected to the modem by Ethernet cable for you to have a network.

I am sorry to hear about the screen issues. To clarify, do you only notice the screen proportion difference when in a certain application? By to long or wide are you stating that parts of the screen images are cut off? Please provide details

Pictures in Facebook are too large and content is cut off, is there a way to adjust.

While using my I pad 2 for Facebook the pictures of postings are huge and some of the content gets cut off. This doesn't happen on a laptop is there a way to adjust size of content so entire post can be seen.

Don't use the app.
Unfortunately, the app has had the photos bug for months or more. I access facebook via safari and find it a much better experience.

Is there a way to adjust volume of ringtone BEFORE downloading it?

I downloaded a ringtone last night to my iPhone. Everything went smoothly but find that the ringtone is way too low for me to hear when it rings... is there any way to adjust this before I download it? Let me just say that otherwise the volume on my iPhone is perfect - I have never had a problem with this just with this ringtone in particular. I have try to go to the info of this particular ringtone and i can see a volume adjustment under the heading Options but it is gray - anyway to make it active? Any info will be appreciated. thanks.

Ditto, the ringtone I created is unusable, as it is too quiet. There does not seem to be an option to increase the volume. Even if I set the ringer volume all the way up I can bearly hear it. Admittedly it is a relatively quiet segment of the track I used, but surely the ringtone should auto adjust its volume?
The preview on my MacBook sounded great, on the iphone with it sat in the dock, I barely even noticed it was playing.

I've used image trace to trace the outline of a street grid and expanded the trace into paths. However, after doing so, I realized I wanted the streets a bit thicker, so I increased the stroke value.
Is there a way to adjust the old paths to match the new outline? I tried saving it as a .jpg and retracing but the quality was subpar. Any way to "redo" the trace in the original file, or somehow tell Illustrator to move the paths to match the increased stroke? I need them to coincide once more with the edges of the streets.

The was I (mis)understand it, you may go back to the original image and trace it anew with new settings
You may obtain stroked paths rather than filled areas, if you look at the Trace options and tick Centerline Mode along with Stroke, not Outline and Fill.
Once you have (access to) the paths you can change their stroke(s) to whichever Weight you wish.

A few things you probably know:
To get rid of the white in the image you can tick Ignore White; that is much easier than having to get rid of it later.
In newer versions, you have to Expand the traced artwork in order to access it for further work, such as editing, changing Stroke Weight and colour, and whatever else.
