Is there a way to automate the installation/importing of a certificate. I know how to import on manually, but I need a way to import one via a script. How can I do this?

I am looking for a way to import a certificate into FireFox 4.0.1 on XP. I know how to import them manually under tools>options, but I need a way to script the import process using something like a certutil for FF. Has anyone done this before? I need to hit several hundred workstations. Thanks for your time, suggestions and assistance.

I'm currently in the process of re-installing a web farm of ColdFusion 8 servers (W2K8, IIS 7.5).
I have to install a number of CFX tags (C++) on each server to get the code running.
Is there a way to automate the installation of the CFX tags (regedit imports, VBS, PowerShell...)?
I found some link indicating that keys should be imported in the registry at: HKLM\Software\Allaire, but Allaire does not even exist in this branch (I believe that the instructions were true of older versions of CF).
I installed one of the tags manually and noticed that the file neo-runtime.xml was updated with:

This is great! but I'm not there yet. I figured how to assign little midi triggered melodies to a touch track. I used to do stuff like this on an old Buchla years ago. How do I get the automation on the midi track to control the filter on an audio track? I created regions with the automation I want on a midi track, then I assigned those regions to keys with touch tracks. How do I get that to control the filter on the audio track?

I'm looking for a way to automate the tax code assignation on purchases, I'm aware of the condition techniques for POs, but I would like to understand if it can be also applied to the other document in purchases so we can have a totally automate process on tax code assignation.
Documents like: Contracts, Info records, RFQ, Scheduling agreements, Outline Agremments

What you need to do is to create condition tables & access sequences for condition type NAVS for purchasing documents like RFQ, Contract & Scheduling agreement. You can use the document types and document category to differentiate these. Obviously this is required only if your tax determination scenario is different between different document type, if the tax code to be determined is not linked to purchasing document type, then you only one access sequence which can have parameteris like PORG, vendor if required etc. which are common to all document types.
Once this configuration is done, then you need to maintain condition records using transaction MEK1 and maintain the tax codes as per the combination of parameters.
In case of Info-record, it is different as it is a master data and this automatic tax determination will not work there.

As I've mentioned above, I was informed that updating to 5.0.1 would '''require''' me to '''delete''' the current version and then install the new one. And doing so will involve losing all my bookmarks. I guess I should have been more specific and detailed there. By losing, I didn't mean losing them forever. I'm aware that they're secured in some place and deleting and installing the software doesn't harm its existence. What I meant that if I install the new version, I'd have to delete the old one. And after installing the new version, I'd have to transfer them (bookmarks) back from wherever they are. Get it? When it updated from 3.6.9 to 3.6.13, and from 3.6.13 to 3.6.18, I didn't need to follow that process. They were already present on their own.
BTW, I'm having no problems with 3.6.18 but after learning about the existence of version 5.0.1, I'm a bit too eager to lay my hands over it.

The thing is: I love AIR, hate spark, loved the 2006 pre-spark functionality. It is so much more convenient and user friendly. Given the choice between having the display seperate from the processing, or having it be convenient and easy to work with, I choose the later option.
For the most part it seems like the AIR api is like a layer on top of the spark - flex system.. I would like to be able to over lay the same AIR functionality on top of the the old system....

I've got a similar problem. iTunes v10.2 worked fine, but when I tried to update it to 10.5 I got a 'Bonjour' error. I eventually solved that but I still couldn't upgrade to 10.5, so I deleted every single Apple, Quicktime, iTunes, etc file on my PC using Revo Unistaller (because the normal Windows Add/Delete programs wouldn't work) but now, when I install the latest iTunes version from scratch (on XP SP3), it says: "the installer encountered errors before it could be configured.... your system has not been modified"
Any ideas?

I would like to automate the installation of FireFox to an alternate directory.

I am trying to automate the installation of FireFox to my servers drive "F:" but I have not found a way to script this option. Typical Windows installations would use the INSTALLDIR= option, but this does not work. I have seen several different spins on setting options (like the home page) but none of these scripts seem to address my issue.

When you download the installer, you can specify the install location. Once installed, any updates should also install in that location.

I'm getting a message that there is an error in the installer file for the 30 day trial of Acrobat Pro - Can that be fixed?

I just tried to download - 3 times - 2 from I.E. 11 and 1 from Chrome - all get the same result that there is an error in the installer file.
I'm not seeing any way to contact Adobe directly, only forums and this one seems closest to what might be helpful. Thanks for any advice you can provide.

First of all I am not an Exchange Expert, and I might be asking a very stupid question, but please bare with me. :)
While I was on leave our Mail server fell over and The company got a Specialist to help out for the time being.
We where\are on Microsoft Exchange 2007 , which Fell over, and the specialist was able to recover as much data as he could.
They then installed Exchange 2013 and tried to migrate everything from 2007 to 2013 and not everything migrated over.
But the problem is, Outlook Anywhere was enable on 2007 and worked a 100% (before the disaster)
With Exchange 2013 I get the following error message when trying to connect With Outlook 2013, using an external connection:
"There is a problem with the proxy server's security certificate. The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the target site "Mailserver"
Outlook is unable to connect to the Proxy server. (Error Code 0)"
Has anyone had the Similar when migrating over from 2007 to 2013 or is this an Issue on IIS and nothing to do with Exchange migration?

Firstly, I would suggest we use Exchange 2013 FE as the Outlook Anywhere proxy server.
For the certificate issue, it mostly occurs because the host name that Outlook are trying to access does not match the certificate SAN. Please check with this point. If they do not match, you
can change the host name by referring to the following article:

Replying to my own post - heh. I downloaded iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/) which allowed me access to the files on the phone and there was the phantom movie in the DCIM folder. Deleted it, and all is well - although I still have 0.65gb of Other in iTunes.....
