Is there a way to block all video's and add's from youtube?

Hello Apple Support Communities!
I would like to watch youtube without the add's and all the other clutter around the video's. Now there is a really nice extension for Safari which can do that for you: clea.nr videos. Does a really nice job (see picture) - try it.
However the video add's which probably are the most annoying especially when they are dutch still show up despite having installed adblock. I noticed that there is no such thing as Adblockplus for safari (in chome and firefox it solves this problem). Is there a fix for this problem in safari? Or it's chosing between clea.nr video's with video add's or for chrome which I don't like.
I'm using a macbook air with 10.8.5 and safari 6.0.5.

Using http://clicktoflash.com/ or similar extensions allows viewing HTML5 video instead of Flash for most youtube pages, and here, on the few pages that I see, anyway... means that no video ads are shown before the main one.
Glimmerblocker can be set up to block the ads in Youtube/ Flash (or still could recently, when I tried it)

This is generally handled by your e-mail provider, not your e-mail reader.
For example, I use Gmail and it filters spam before it ever gets to my inbox. If something does get through, I can move it to the spam folder on my iPhone to report it as spam.

I definitely understand wanting to maintain your information. If you have suspended your account, you are still able to access your My Verizon online account to review contacts saved with Backup Assistant or media and call logs saved with Verizon Cloud. Are you having trouble accessing your account?

Get a third drive if needed, open the Time Machine pane of System Preferences, set it not to exclude that drive, and drag the files to it. If you're moving an iTunes or iPhoto library, launch the application with the Option key held down and choose the moved library.

I get lots of mail, and most of it I don't keep, or keep over on my MacBook. Is there a way to select all the Mail messages and delete them, or do I need to go through them one at a time?

In your inbox in the phone you can mark the mails one by one and then tab delete.
In Trash you can delete all with one tab.

I recently put a version of firefox on a flash drive for when using public computers so I can always have the custom settings and addons available. But the inherent problem is that firefox puts files in the documents and settings folder on the computer, and sometimes the computer will not allow any files to be put in the directory and firefox will not run there. Is there any way to confine all the files in the same place short of putting the whole operating system on there?

You can use the portable Firefox version that comes with its own profile on the flash drive.

In I movie, load the player with your clip. Play it until the frame you want is in the viewing window. Then take a screen shot and the whole screen wil be captured and placed in the camera roll. You can then crop it down to just the picture, or portion of the picture you want.
Not elegant, but functional.

I have just downloaded itunes on to a new laptop and when I have tried to tranfer the songs from my ipod on to it I was only able to tranfer the songs that i had purchased through itunes.
Is there any way of transfering the songs that are on my ipod the weren't purchased through itunes?

Ideally you would transfer you working library, or a backup of it, from your old computer to your new one. If that's not possible then...

This is actually pretty easy. Just take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[Backing up your information]]. It will give you steps on backing up everything to a USB drive or CD.

Now I have no paired device, no key, and no apparent way of retrieving my history, and passwords. Sorry, without the Sync Key / Recovery Key your data isn't retrievable. Each individual user is the only one whoever even sees their "key", and it is the encryption / decryption key for that data.

I agree with you. Comcast/NBC has NO family values and thinks that they can change my mind by continuing to exploit depravity! They are wrong and the only way we can prove it to them is to attack them financially. I'm currently researching products to "cut the cord". Sling TV is one example, the only one offering Hallmark programing, HGTV and (I think) NASCAR races for my hubby and I love Amazon Prime TV, because I was already shipping using Prime for shipping! If I like some of these cord cutter options, I may put a sign on the back of my car saying "Cut the cord, try - - - - - -".Spread the word using positive reinforcement, it's the only way to make someone think changing the way they think, was their idea! Is there a way to download all of my music at once from the iCloud

I have uploaded my music to the iTunes Match and would like to download all of the music from the cloud onto my new laptop. Is there a faster way to do this than clicking on songs one at a time? I alread tried holding shift and clicking with multiple songs highlighted.

I did this with a playlist that has over 6000 songs, but the "download all" feature seems to only download 100 songs at a time. After that, the rest of the songs just stay with the spinning icon, but never start. I turned off the auto lock feature, and am leaving my iPhone on the charger, and it still happens. I hit the download all button, nothing. I quit and try again, nothing. I have to restart my phone in order to download the next 100, and so on it goes. I even tried turning off iTunes Match to sync music the old fashioned way, but iTunes will not let me sync my music. I tried to manually manage my library, and only 16 of my 6000+ songs transfer. The rest of the music is greyed out, with a dotted circle symbol next to the rest of my library. Music was not purchased through iTunes, so Authorization should not be necessary. I am at a loss. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, the Mac can read NTFS drives, but not write to them.
If you have the drive formatted FAT or exFAt then the Mac can read and write to it. But before formatting, remove the data as it's erased, and format it on the PC as it's easier. Right click on Windows and Format.
Drives, partitions, formatting w/Mac's + PC's
Moving your personal data via the external drive is likley the best option, there are other methods like Migration, but they are problematic and take a long time, a drive is simple, fast and direct.
