Is there a way to block Firefox from closing while files are downloading? I don't want to accidentally quit the program and cut off current downloads.

Basically, I was downloading a game from Game Agent and I accidentally quit Firefox. This stopped the download and I was not allowed to resume it, forcing me to spend $30 to buy the same game AGAIN to get a new download file. Is there a way to add a warning box to Firefox that says something like: "Are you sure you want to quit Firefox? Files are downloading" when I try to quit?

Firefox doesn't do that. That's either a feature of the website you are visiting or possible Malware on that PC.

Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > You can be reached by iMessage at:
Select the right facing arrow in a blue circle next to the email address this girl is sending iMessage to and select Remove This Email.
If she has your cell phone number, she can switch to sending iMessage to that and there will be nothing you can do, but removing the email address will prevent you from receiving an iMessage addressed to that email address.

there are parental control apps you can look into. Such as McGruff. You block safari in restrictions then use the mcgruff app. Or you can look into your router and see what settings you can change there.

Shot videos ONLY in landscape. For photos choose what's you like. Maybe you have to rotate photos on PC. What's your operating system?

So I have a musical keyboard that I've attached to my macbook to record in Garageband. I have a ton of sounds on my keyboard from percussion, brass, piano, etc.
When I record, for example, a trumpet sound from my keyboard into Garageband, Garageband just records the notes using its one version of trumpet or piano or whatever.
How do I get GarageBand to just record the sound as is?
I tried the "real instrument" track option but that ends up record all sound from the microphone on the MacBook and not recording the sound through the MIDI connection.

Answer would be no unless application provided such feature. Numbers does not as far as I know.

Is there a way to block applications (or at least wait for user permission) from opening unwanted tabs? (like those annoying "Welcome to ..." or "You've successfully installed..." after installing/uninstalling a program, or even a Firefox addon).
I just don't want Firefox opening tabs that I did not directly intended to open.
Also, I've installed AdBlock Plus and Pop-up blocker is enabled, but still some websites allow pop-ups. How can I completely disable opening all stand-alone windows?

What you are talking about is built into the install programs.
Firefox has no direct control over them.

The songs from the Sony MP3 player need to be imported into your iTunes library first before they can be synced or added to your iPod Classic.

I have been an ardent Firefox user ever since Firefox began, having created innumerable Firefox users through the effusive enthusiasm in which I have promoted Firefox to others. But the manner in which Firefox has been demonstrating its total disdain for its loyal cadre of users like myself has me infuriated to no end, to the point of dumping Firefox altogether out of sheer frustration, anger with Firefox's absolute disregard to the requests of its users, who have pleaded to have a mechanism in which the all-too frequent updates wreaks havoc with our lives, livelihood.
The worst aspect of Firefox's dictatorial approach is the manner in which truth is the first casualty in
having a process to disable the update process which is very much akin to the manner in which Foie gras is produced. I have been given all sorts of advice, guidance on how to disable the update process
none of which have done a wit to fulfill my request of the specific needs of a browser that serves my interest and purpose, one in which is very much entwined with the work I do online as what I do for a living.
The insults Firefox perpetuates against users like me in providing phony approaches that in the end
turn out to be just another dead end is nothing short of nefarious. My attempt for the umpteenth
time in trying to put a stop to these updates is a terrible business practice, doing the worst sort of harm, to those who have been most loyal to the Firefox cause.
Just today, despite applying every sort of suggestion to stop these infernal updates, Firefox has once
again found a new way to bring me closer to becoming forever alienated.
This morning I noticed browsers all on five computers updated when I specifically had in place every
contingency for disabling these updates and so once again, I deleted every last remnant of Firefox off of my computer and started anew with a browser from Old Apps.com after going through my checklist
of steps to insure the updates will never cross my path again.
But despite doing everything to stop it, checking never to be updated, having extensions applied manually and a host of other faux approaches to disable the updates, I nearly lost it when noticing
that all computers were displaying the latest updates.
After today's latest debacle with the game you play with us users, it came to me like a ton of bricks falling loose right on top of me, how on a smaller scale,you, your tactics, your total obliviousness to the requests needs of our users, reminded me of Microsoft in its heyday.
That's a very sad,tragic legacy to be reminiscent of.

At work I have to connect through our website multiple times a day to client machines. We use our machine that creates a connection which is accessed by going to http://*****.ourfakeserver.com where the ***** will change each time. I would like to not be prompted every time I go to ourfakeserver.com. Is there any way to do this?

The problem is that the subdomain changes all the time. I want to set the "Never Remember Password for This Site" for a whole domain regardless of the subdomain.
