Is there a way to download specific base files from pacstrap base?

Lets say I tinker with something and mess up the file. I can of course redownload the entire base files using pacstrap, but is there a way to just query a specific file and download that?
Lets talk about fstab for a moment. I ran the script
# genfstab -U -p /mnt > /mnt/etc/fstab
and instead of using the append redirector I used only the redirect of > which clears everything other than what you are adding.
So because I do not know if there was any code and I also want to know what the original fstab file looked like. I would like to reload only this file. Is this possible? Or do I have to redownload all the base files again?
This serves 2 purposes: Learn to load only single files and to learn about the original look of the fstab file.

So I am having a problem because it keeps saying fstab might be a file and when I query I do not see the package /file. So help me understand by this similar question.
This works fine.
# pacman -S iw wpa_supplicant
but using query does not find any package that resembles iw wpa_supplicant
# pacman -Q
Nothing in the list resembles the package above. It seems to me I just do not understand repositories (I think that is what these are called).
Is there a good link or article that can clear this up? Also... how can I find out how to query files that contain certain characters in the package name such as lib* or *lib*?

Just can't figure it out. I have notes set up in Apple Mail on my iMac desktop which sync to my iPhone and appear in the Notes app on the iPhone.
I have to do's set up in Apple Mail on my iMac but I can't see them anywhere on my iPhone. Not in Mail, not in Reminders.
What am I doing wrong? Do I need a 3rd party app? Man, this is confusing.

How do I bar specific incoming numbers from calling my iPhone?

Hi.
Recently, I have been getting persistent scam calls from various people trying to sell me "T-mobile upgrades" (for my O2 based UK iPhone 3G S!) and other scam nonsense. Not sure if it relates to the new mobile/cellphone number directory that launched (and then crashed!) in the UK.
Anyway, I have noticed that one or two numbers persist in calling me, and I want to block them from being able to do this. I think this may be called "call barring" (?), but can find no way of doing this on my iPhone.
Does anyone know of a way that I can 'blacklist' certain incoming phone numbers? Is this hidden somewhere in the dark recesses of the iPhone settings? Or is there an App I can purchase?
All help gratefully received, because these jokers are doing my head in!

A solution I've used is an app just now available on iphone app store, called YouMail (dot com) It's FREE, and is a rockin' visual voicemail, plus tons of other features. One neat one is if you upload your contacts, when someone on your list calls, it answers and says "Hello (steve)..." in the announcement. EVERYONE asks how I do that.
Sign up, and on your PC, set up your account, including a list of BLOCKING numbers.
I used YouMail on my BB with great success, now on iPhone, not really needed.

Block/Delete will appear if "Enforce Password on Device" is NOT ticked in ESM at the time when that particular iPhone (or other smartphone) was first joined to EAS.
Wipe/Delete will appear if "Enforce Password on Device" IS TICKED in ESM at the time when that particular iPhone (or other smartphone) was first joined to EAS.
The only difference is, if you first have "Enforce..." ticked and you join phones A,B,C, - they will always have WIPE next to that phone even if X months down the line, you untick "Enfore...".
If at that point (after unticking "Enforce..") you join phones D,E,F, they will have BLOCK next to their phone and always will have until you tick the "Enforce..." again and the user will be prompted to input a code when they next sync.
Again I repeat, the 'Lock code' when inputted into the phone acts as an agreement between the user & exchange that exchange has permission to wipe the phone remotely. Without that agreement ("Enforce..."), you should not have the WIPE function on those particular phones.

Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > You can be reached by iMessage at:
Select the right facing arrow in a blue circle next to the email address this girl is sending iMessage to and select Remove This Email.
If she has your cell phone number, she can switch to sending iMessage to that and there will be nothing you can do, but removing the email address will prevent you from receiving an iMessage addressed to that email address.

I have 4 calendars: 1 Exchange and 1 Yahoo that includes 2 shared calendars (wife and MIL). I activate the Yahoo calendars only when I need them and do not need any yahoo reminders at all. When I swipe down the Notifications page, it includes all four calendars including the shared Yahoo calendars. What's worse, I get alerts from all four calendars.
I only want Exchange alerts and notifications. Is there a way to exclude the Yahoo calendars from Notifications and alerts?
Right now, the only way I can eliminate them is by deactivating the Yahoo account in Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

Ok, just stop and think about the question for a minute.
The iPod is powered OFF and he wants to know if there is a way to turn the iPod ON "remotely" which implies he cannot physically push the On/Off switch to the ON position.
Because the iPod must be powered ON for it to be connected to a wireless network, your answer makes no sense at all.
Therefore the answer to the question is NO.
