Is there a way to boost range of the WRT610N?

Good evening,
I purchased the WRT610N a few months ago, and until now, it has worked just fine, and I had no problems with the range.
But,
I moved to a new house, which apparently has thicker walls :/ and the signal is very very poor now, and I have no idea how to fix it...
Now i know this model has range issues, and now i can really see it :/
It is impossible to run a cable to fix it, as well, its a rather large house, and well, the whole point of getting it was to go..wireless, ya know?
I was reading around, and, could a bridge or a repeater be the solution? If so, how does that work, and could someone suggest a good one that doesn't have too much trouble working with the router...
I am anxiously awaiting your reply, as i have a 124Mb connection now thats running on less than 12 with this range :/ I'm not expecting full speed of course, but i would be happy with it even reaching it halfway xD

Try changing the wireless channel on the router and see if that makes any difference in wireless signal strength.
You can try using the combination of wireless bridge ( WET610N ) and wireless access point ( WAP610N ) to expand the range of wireless signal.
Or you can also try using Wireless access point WAP4410N which has a repeater mode.

If you are using a single computer: Open System Preferences/Network. Double click on your connection type, or select it in the drop-down menu, and in the box marked 'DNS Servers' add the following two numbers:

One reason for a slowness in page loading may be the 'DNS Pre-fetching' feature of Safari 5.x as is described here:

This can often be inconvenient, and as it is rarely Safari itself that is hanging but merely one of its plug-ins, usually Flash, there is a way using Terminal to restart the plug-ins (without restarting Safari and losing your tabs) by quitting the WebPluginHost process:
Open the Terminal from the Utilities folder in /Applications and type
killall -9 WebKitPluginHost
Note that this command kills all Safari plug-ins, not just Flash. All plug-ins should start back up when you reload the page.
Then go back to Safari and refresh any pages that were using the Flash plug-in. This also fixes the Beachball of Death. Try this whenever Safari gets slow or freezes. The later versions of Flash 10.1 onwards appear to have improved the situation somewhat, but haven't completed eliminated it.

I don't have the 3G iPod shuffle, but there is probably a Limit Maximum Volume setting, and it may currently be set lower than you want. With the iPod shuffle selected in the iTunes sidebar (under DEVICES), go to the Settings or Summary tab (over to the right). See if there is control there for limiting the maximum volume on the shuffle. If so, disable it or set it to the desired max loudness. Apply the change.

Maybe I'm fool, but how I get the "day view"? I have three options on the top line, an icon that seems a computer (a square and two lines), a magnifying glass to search a especific item and a "plus" to add appointments. The "day view" isn't any more there - that's the point!!! Using the first icon a get the full month-that uses 2/3 of the screen- and two lines of appointments...To see the rest I have to slide up and down the two lines taking care to not touch the month...

The paths won't agree on the two OSs so a simple XML import isn't likely to work.
See Sync iPod/iPad/iPhone with two computers and, if needed, Make a split library portable. The techniques in the first link will work when moving the library between Windows and OS X as long as the library is "portable", but iTunes takes quite some time checking the database when the library is opened under a different OS.

make sure you volume is not all the way down
make sure audio play out of the ipad when not connected to the hdmi adapter
if you did and it don't work then it's likely an issue with the connetor

I'd like to digitize audio from a minidisc player into my 15-inch (late 2013) Macbook Pro with retina display, but can't see a way to change the internal mic input. I understand that previous MacBooks allowed the headphone jack to double as a mic input, but mine doesn't seem capable of switching. I've tried using a mini to mini cable, with no luck, and also tried using a headset splitter adapter (3.5 mm 4-pin to 2x3-pin 3.5 mm headset splitter adapter from Amazon) because I read that that would allow me to plug in headphones and input audio. But in both cases, the only "input" available in my sound preferences is the built-in internal microphone. Am I missing something? Is there a way to digitize audio through the headphone jack?

Not likely. headphone jacks are usually output only devices unless specifically stated to support input, and even then, it may not be audio input that they support, but merely control input for volume and such.

Syncing to a new iTunes library or computer will erase your ipod. Only if you back up your iPod manually before syncing, you can restore your device from that backup again. A manual backup does not include the sync process.
Disable autosync in iTunes, connect your iPod to your new computer and right click on it in the device list and choose backup. iTunes will backup your ipod without syncing.
Transfer your purchases the same way, choosing "transfer purchases" this time.
When you connect your iPod for the first time, all media content will be erased. But you can restore your settings and app data from your manual backup afterwards.
Don't forget to set up at least one contact and event on your new computer to be able to merge calendars and contacts when you sync the ipod for the first time.
Music is one way only, from the computer to your device, unless you bought the songs in itunes and transferred your purchases.

I tried to put them in using the "Home calendar" blue, and them change them to purple (Work Calendar) after I had paid them. The problem is that once I changed a bill from blue to purple it changed all upcoming bills for future months to purple also.

You might want to try Reminders.
Creat a Bill Pay list, add all your bills set a reminder to repeat every month and when you pay one just check them off as complete
