Is there a way to pay for a full copy of DW CS 6 without having to get CC version of DW and pay a stupid monthly fee?

Just bear in mind that no further development is being done on CS6. It's 3 year old software producing 3 year old code. Basically what you see is what you get. No further upgrades are possible.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer. Your music should be there.
If for some reason you have failed to backup, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases

I have about 70,000 songs, almost all of them are MP3s burned from CDs. Is there a way to increase the 25,000 song limit in iTunes Match, by paying more, for example?
Right now the limit is what it is, 25,000 tracks. Tracks purchased from the iTunes Store do not count against that number. Whether Apple has any plans to increase that limit none of us here, who are all just fellow users, will know. We'll have to wait and see.

You should talk to Adobe Support thru chat or by phone when they are available (Not usually on weekends) as they might be able to help arrange the change without any cancellation penalties.

I'm trying to make sure I am doing this correctly. How do you set up alerts for both text messages and iMessages so that even when the phone is locked you will still get an audible or vibration alert as soon as the message is received? And is there a way to do this without having any text appear on the lock screen that shows who the message is from. My phone stays in locked mode most of the time but I still want to recieve alerts for new messages as soon as they arrive. I'm also concerned about privacy so I don't want any text or preview or even any information about the sender to appear on the lock screen. I just want a vibration or audible alert.
Open the Settings app > Notifications > Messages. Scroll down adn turn OFF "View In Lock Screen". You may want to consider setting Alert style to none, but this will not impact what happens when the screen is locked.

When my delegates are filling in a event form i have put together, a large number of them forget to change either the month or year on the date field. Is there a way to have a date field that has drop down boxes for day, month and year so they have to choose rather than a date been already on the screen??

The WEEKDAY function allows specifying either Sunday or Monday as the first day of the week:
WEEKDAY
The WEEKDAY function returns a number that is the day of the week for a given date. WEEKDAY(date, first-day)
 date: The date the function should use. date is a date/time value. The time portion is ignored by this function.
 first-day: An optional value that specifies how days are numbered.
Sunday is 1 (1 or omitted): Sunday is the first day (day 1) of the week and Saturday is day 7.
Monday is 1 (2): Monday is the first day (day 1) of the week and Sunday is day 7. Monday is 0 (3): Monday is the first day (day 0) of the week and Sunday is day 6.
But I think you are referring to the first day of the 'workweek', for which I do not see a means of defining a custom value.
Since you want to 'insert categories', though, you could easily define your own, using WEEKDAY(date) or WEEKDAY(date,1), plus an IF statement to return the category label appropriate to the day. Here's one for a Sunday to Thursday work week. Dates are in column A, the formula is in whichever column you want as the Category column. For the example, I've placed it in column B.
B2, and filled down: =IF(WEEKDAY(A)<6,"Work","Off")
The top table shows the weekday numbers returned for each day of the week for each of the three permitted values for the optional second argument. The bottom table shows the results from the formula above, used to define a category label for each date:
A10 was left blank intentionally, to determine if the lack of data resulted in an error. The Warning message, flagged by the blue 'warning' triangle, is "The formula uses a number in place of a date." The 'date' assigned to this numerical value of zero was a Friday, but I'm not certain when. Probably best to avoid extra rows with no date shown.

similar to 'thisLayer.name', is there a way of being able to grab the name of a shape layer without referring to it specifically?

I want to be able to duplicate a shape inside a layer a number of times, and with every duplicated shape, I want that shape to evaluate what number it is (based on a name I give it so I could name it '1' and then use something like 'eval(propertyname)' to return a number or perhaps use an index to count the number of shapes in the layer) and multiply that number by some set of rules that I can define and control through a list of expression controls on another layer. This would allow me to duplicate a square 10 times and have each square's position do something like
x = thisShapeNumber + shapeLength * TranslateExpressionControl;
y = 0;
[x,y]
which would form a long line of squares for instance. Does that make sense?

Is there a way to install the 32 bit version of python with 64 bit one

I have recently purchased a Tux Droid and I'm trying to get it installed on my Arch64 system. The problem is the software for it depends on the 32 bit python for TTS and a lot of other libs. Is it just possible to install the 32 bit version along with 64 bit version?Do you mean schroot? If so I'm not sure exactly how well that will work out, because the part that depends on python is a deamon that handles communication between the USB dongle and the Tux Droid which may mean hacking the deamon a bit so ether way this does not seem like it will be a easy task.

Just got a 27'' AOC monitor that I'm using with my Macbook Air (purchased in 2013). It's working great but as soon as I unplug the power adapter from my laptop the monitor goes black and says 'no signal'. I've been reading online that you need to have the power adapter plugged in to use an external monitor - my questions are: 1) does that harm the laptop's batter? if so, 2) is there a workaround? if there is no workaround, 3) does an Apple monitor also require that a laptop be plugged in for the external display to continue functioning while the laptop is in clamshell mode (closed lid)?

If the lid is open, however, the monitor continues to function even without the power adapter plugged into my laptop. Ideally, I'd like to have the lid closed on my laptop and be able to use the external monitor without having the power plugged into my laptop. That's what doesn't seem to work - if your does, please let me know if you have any pointers.

Is there a way to clear the app stores "Not on this iphone" list of previously downloaded apps?
with the new update there is a way to download all your old apps. however my list is immensly long, and i am looking for a way to clear or reset the list.
the list im referring to is on my iphone 4, in the app store, under the tab "Updates" and "Not on this Iphone" alot of these apps are old or i have no interest ever downloading again and would prefer to not have them showingThere are many threads that have recently been posted addressing this matter. Currently iTunes and iOS displays all Apps ever downloaded and you can't control which ones you would like to delete from that list permanently and which you would like to keep in the Cloud, so to speak.
