Is there a way to combine data from multiple responses (collected from different forms)?

Since FormCentral (FC) doesn't support XFA-based dynamic forms (utilizing form logic), we have a long form that we may need to separate out into smaller PDF forms.  However, the data from each form needs to remain as a group. Wondering if there's a way to combine data form individual forms using FC, or maybe simple solution after-the-fact. I presume there would have to be some sort of unique identifier on each form as a reference.
NOTE: These are PDF forms imported into FC, not web forms created in FC.

Hi;
There are not any methods that FormsCentral provides.  You would not be able to combine it within FormsCentral, you can experiment with exporting the data from FormsCentral to Excel and then combining in Excel.
Thanks,
Josh

  • Is there a way to import data from excel -when one of the columns in excel is hyperlink column?

Is there a way to import data from excel  - so if a column is hyperlink - the whole data will move to the list (text + link of the hyperlink column)?

    Hi,
According to your description, you want to export excel which contains a hyperlink column to SharePoint list.
    Refer to the following steps:
Open the Excel, insert/create the table.
Now click on any cell of table and go to the ‘Design Tools’.
Click on the Export and then ‘Export table to SharePoint List’.
You will see a popup where you need to provide the URL of SharePoint site, list name and description.
Then click on next, On the next screen you will see columns with data types which are going to create in SharePoint list.
Now click finish and wait until the operation gets finished. You will see that list gets created in SharePoint site with the records.

  • Is there a way to extract data from one of e.g. 7 rows from the multicolumn listbox?

is there a way to extract data from one of e.g. 7 rows from the multicolumn listbox?

All the data can be extracted by creating a property node and read the Item Names property...then you get a 2D array of all the rows and columns. Wire that array into an index array function and input the row you want (e.g. the listbox value, if you want the row currently selected...)...that's it. See attached example.

Is there any way to recover data from a cleared soft partition? <eom>

You could try using 'metarecover'. I don't know if that works after a metaclear, but it's the only think that I could think to try.
I think you could brute-force search for UFS filesystems within the underlying storage, but that's pretty tedious.

My iphone 4 is dead with water damage. Is there a way to recover data from the dead phone. Could any one help where exectly the memory chip (not RAM) resides in the phone. Is it on the motherboard or a seperate component in the phone?

The iPhone's internal components are soldered together. There is no way to recover data from your phone if it refuses to power up.

  • How to combine data from different input forms outside a nested iView

    Hi,
i try to combine data from different input forms in a single one.
Because of space reasons in Flex compiling i already use nested iViews. Within these nested iViews its possible to use the 'combine' function to do this.
But in the main iView I cant compose these function with other elements. I need to do this because of using these model in Guided Procedures with output parameters. These parameters I only get with a 'endPoint'. Unfortunatly its not possible to combine data from different input forms into the 'endPoint'.
    Is there any solution?
    Thanx
    Mathias

    Hi Scott,
i tried this already and i also tried to map all parameters in the endpoint by drawing lines from the other forms and assign the 'empty parameters' by a formula.
And when i create a collable object in GP and assign the VC iView, only the parameters of the parent-form (the form who trigger the event) are shown as output-parameters.
Maybe any other ideas? I cant believe that such a simple thing is not possible?!?!
In my opinion, thats a bug, that I'am not able to use the combine-operator in the main VC-iView. Whats your mind?

  • Is there a way to allocate data from one month to other month

    Hi all,
I am trying to find out a way to copy data from days of a month to days of other month using a calculation script.
Is there really a way using essbase functions?
Like I have days for each month as shown below.
    Jan 2011
    2011-01-01
    2011-01-02
    and so on
    2011-01-31
    and Next Month
    2011-02-01
    2011-02-02
    and so on
    2011-02-28.
What I am trying to do is copy the related dates data from Jan 2011 to Feb 2011 (datacopy from 2011-01-01 to 2011-02-01 and so on for other dates too.)
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in Advance.

It would be through scripting. If no one else answers here, try using the InDesign Scripting forum:

  • Is there a way to restore data from a previous back up?

I just updated my iPhone to IOs7 and unfortunately the contacts and photos where not backed up. Is there a way to restore them from a previous back up? Like one month ago?

Yes you can. Usualy iTunes saves last 3 or 4 backups.
Connect your iphone with iTunes and then you can check them after you click "restore from back up" option.

  • Combining data from different applications

    Dear all,
      I am using BPC 5.1
I have a "Sales" application with dimensions "account", "entity", "time", "rptcurrency", "category", "product". And another "HR" application with the same dimensions as "Sales" except for "product".
How do i create a report that combines data from both applications, assuming my dynamic template is opened with a current view of "Sales".
    Cheers

    Hi Lip,
I just tried what you need and it worked fine.
In your case, build a report say evdre, for HR application, and for the same sheet, change the current view to Sales and build one more evdre. You get a prompt saying one evdre may break while expanding other.Disable this prompt, belive me , it will work fine.
The page key of HR application will have all dimensions refering to cvv of HR application, change it to refer to cvv of sales application( for only the dimensions both applications have in common).
Now the report is dynamic with current view of Sales application.
    Hope this helps,
    Kranthi

  • Is there any way to export data from a calendar 5 instance to 6.3?

I've run into yet another issue with my migration from calendar 5 to 6.3.
It turns out that one of our satellite clinics has a very large amount of data stored on our older server. Right now we're having to put the migration on hold because there are several hundred events on the old server that are repeat events and/or events scheduled relatively far in the future. This issue, along with the possibility of double booking events/appointments while both servers are active, is a serious risk that could have detrimental effects on this site.
There are a few issues that I'm not certain how to handle in this case. First of all, the old server's database is stored in schema 1, and changes in the LDAP directory structure from cal 5 vs. 6.3 made it impossible to migrate the old database and accounts. The new server is schema 2. So migrating the whole directory, especially at this point, seems rather unlikely.
Is there any way that I can export data for specific accounts and calendars for the people at this site in a version-independent format and import it to the new server? If nothing else we can schedule somebody to come in on one of the weekends and manually copy the data, but if possible I'd like to avoid devoting somebody to that for the several hours that it would take to copy that by hand. Also, this would not be the preferred method due to the fact that human error could result in our clients being misscheduled, which would obviously be bad for business.
I'd appreciate any ideas anybody may have on this matter.
    Thanks in advance.

Actually I guess I was missing the obvious method of simply exporting to xml and importing on the new calendar. For some reason I thought that the exports were incompatible between versions as well.Hmm... whilst this may have worked on the face-of-it I do wonder whether everything has indeed been moved across and more importantly translated into the correct form e.g. access controls, uids => uids@domain format.
Is there anybody that can answer definitively whether or not any data will be lost by this procedure? There are simply too many variables involved in your proposed migration to provide any kind of 100% iron-clad guarantees. I would suggest you perform a thorough test migration of the data and then compare the ics/xml export from the ics5/6 systems to see if any of the data has changed. Also test to see whether access controls are still working (can a user who could previously edit another persons calendar on ics5 now do so with ics6).
Things to look out for are that meeting attendee information is kept, any 'fancy' characters (i.e. 8-bit characters) and formatting information is kept, the number of tasks/meetings is consistent between the two versions and so forth.

  • Is there a way to import data from a specific text field in a PDF form directly into a text field in a different PDF?

I know you can import form data from an .fdf file. Is there a way to import a specific value from that .fdf file into a text field in a separate pdf form?

So I want the FDF to export every time the user saves or closes the PDF. Then I want the import to happen every time the user opens the PDF. That being said, this all has to work with Adobe Reader. If this is possible in anyway, I'd manage this would require some time of script. Any thoughts?

  • Is there a way to Hide data from Users in Cubes?

    Hello All,
Is there a way that I can easily hide data from users. For instance, in the XYZ cube we have data loaded through the year 2005. Is there a way for me to still keep the data in the cube; however, just hide 2005 so when users go in they do not see the year 2005. I know we can set filters and then apply "none" on select members. But the disadvantage with this is the data at the top level shows up as No access and it is only when the users drill down will they be able to see the data. So instead is it possible to hide data with everything else just normal?
    Thanks,
    Ted.

With MetaRead Year will show up as "No Access"/Missing for users. http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E12825_01/epm.111/esb_techref/frameset.htm?maxl_meta_read.htm
Thanks for the reply Celvin, So I understand from the link you posted that when using metaread the data of the ancestors is hidden. However in our case Years data is not getting hidden.:)
I think this is because Under years we have CY, LY-1, LY-2, LY-3,LY-4,LY-5,LY-6,LY-7 as children. However Only CY Consolidates to Year. So I create a metaread to include CY, LY, LY-1,LY-2,LY-3,LY-4,LY-5,LY-6 members and not LY-7. As a result my Year still includes data as CY is included in the metaread filter.
So this tells me(please please correct me if am wrong) it is not a must like indicated in the technical reference that data will be missing/No Access for ancestors of the metaread members. Data will be shown as No Access/Missing for an ancestor only if the members the ancestors consolidate from are not included in the metaread! Please let me know if this is right. I have verified it on my end but I would like to know what you think as Tech Reference sounds like "if metaread read filter is used, ancestor data will be hidden" which is not true.
    Thanks,
    Ted.
