Is there a way to combine two backups on separate disks created by time machine into one on a single disk? One backup is a continuation of the other and was created when I rec'd a message that the 1st disk was full. I'm using a iMac (late 2010) and both external drives are WD. Thanx.

With the timeline selected, go to File/Export/Movie and export each as a DV-AVI video.
You can then combine those AVIs into a new project with virtually no loss of quality.

It's not currently possible to combine iTunes accounts or to transfer content from one account to another account. You should be able to have both accounts authorised on the computer's iTunes that you sync to (via the Store > Authorise This Computer menu option) - but the apps will remain tied to the account that originally bought/downloaded it, so only that account will be able to download updates to those apps.
Also note that using iTunes match, using automatic downloads or re-downloading past purchases will risk tying that computer (or device) to that account for 90 days : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627

To clarify, I want to be able to make a flie I can take to a photo printing place (not for my own printer) so they can print it and I crop it. The place I used to print at used to print an 8"x12" for the same price as 8"x10" (now they may only do 8x10 and I would need to keep the ratio the same so it would be two 3.3"x10" pics on an 8x10"). Two 2TB internal drives in tandem for Time Machine; only one backup deletes.

I'm using two 2TB internal drives in tandem for Time Machine and deleted some backups while in Time Machine. They deleted from drive A, but drive B still has the files. Is there a way to delete these? I tried unmounting drive A in Disk Utility but then I can't enter Time Machine.
I love the dual backups, but should I be able to do dual deletes of all backups? I don't see a way to accomplishg this except to force Time Machine to do a backup, then do that again so it switches drives, but that seems a bit convoluted.
If one of you guru types has an answer I'd be most interested.

You can manually deal with this by using the "Browse Other Backup Disks" function which is accessed via holding the opt/alt key and while selecting the TM icon in the menu bar.
You can then delete the instances of the desired files in each backup set.
Not elegant, but I wouldn't expect that this will be done automatically, as there are a lot of permutations of how you use multiple backup sets.

I've videoed several sets of footage from related events that may be combined into a single DVD at some point, but which were long enough to stand on their own. However, they are currently being used in two separate projects. Is there any way to transfer edited clips from one project to another and still retain the editing that was done? One of these projects was done with 2 continuous cameras and the other with 3, so the amount of editing that would have to be done twice could be substantial. I'm currently using PE3.02 in Vista. You cannot merge two Apple IDs. You cannot share purchases with other Apple IDs although there is a temporary form of sharing.

Is there a way to keep two users calendars separate on one account?

My wife and I have both of our schedules showing up on iCal. That's ok for the iMac, but is there a way to show separate events on our personal iPad?

Yesterday while at the Apple store my wife merged iCal from her iPad onto our iMac so we could setup iCloud. That also placed her data on my iPad, which made it difficult to read. After playing with the iCal settings I noticed you can select the devices to show what appears on your individual device. Now, all I need to do is edit and direct her calendar items to her "Named" calendar. Seems to work ok now. Thank you for your input.

Is there a way to recover the most recent version of your hard drive, after you installed an earlier version. I accidentally restored to an earlier version of my Mac Book lap top and installed it on my iMac desk top. I installed the earlier version using an Apple Time Machine and Apple Time Capsule.
I see some recovery software online, but I'm not sure if I should buy one or if there's another way to approach this problem.
The restored version has some of my files, but it's 2 full years old!
Am I dead in the water?
I appreciate any advice you can offer on alternative recovery techniques or recovery software recommendations.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Unfortunately the whole time I thought the TM/TC was backing up correctly as the thing was starting and stopping as if everything was fine. I guess I was blinded by the little green light that was always on. So actually it does not have a recent version of my iMac, - it only lists old 2011 and 2012 versions of my Macbook. I suppose I screwed something up at setup, and as it was hard lined (via a T5 cable) into my iMac, and the Macbook was shut down in a drawer, I never realized the error.
The restored version is less than a Gig, so there's plenty of room left on the iMac (1TB HD). As such, I'm hoping that most of the files have not really been overwritten.
I'm willing to pay to have it professionally recovered, but is that even possible?

In other words, I emptied out a folder on my main MAC to make space and the next subsequent backup backed up the EMPTY FOLDER and then deleted the "old backup" that actually contained the contents of the very important folder.
Now only the emptied folder exists on my MAC and in the two backups on my Time machine backup drive.
This was clearly a big mistake on my part not realizing that the "old backup" being deleted by Time Machine would include backed up files that I had no intention of getting rid of....
What can I do now?
Is DATA RETREIVAL even an option?
I am sure that the Folder of files that I need are on the most recently deleted "OLD BACKUP" but how do I get to this, if even possible?????

It may be possible to recover some of the data, if it hasn't been overwritten, but it won't be cheap or easy.
You've posted in the Time Capsule forum, but you mention a "backup drive." If your backups are on a Time Capsule's internal HD, instead of an external HD, it's even worse.
