Is there a way to create a dropdown menu template for metadata entry in Bridge?

For certain categories such as keywords, I would like to create a set of standard terms to use for my department. Is there a way to create a template for a dropdown menu within the metadata window?
Currently running CS5.1

This was discontinuted in CS5 howerver you could migrate that plugin to CS5. I don`t know if you can do this with CS6.
To my knowledge they only provided a revised Contact sheet II script for CS6. In my opinion a very bad idea because they should have put all efforts and resources to enhance the Output Module PDF contact sheet that has far more options.
Still not using web galleries but the goal for web gallery was also to use this in the Adobe Output Module, maybe that provides you the options you want?

You cannot have a conventional home page in mobile Safari like you can in the desktop version. But you can create a shortcut in Safari that will appear on your home screen and you can tap on that shortcut to open to your "home page".
Navigate to the your web site of choice in Safari and then tap the Arrow icon next to the url field. Select "Add to Home Screen". That will put the shortcut to your home page on your home screen.
There is no cover flow in Safari or thumbnail views. Safari now uses tabs.

Is there any way to create subfolders instead of playlists for videos?

I know that ipod has changed things up by adding a "tv show" feature in the video section. However, what if you have a video that doesn't fall into one of the categories already listed. That being, "Movies", "Music Videos", "TV Shows, and/or "Video Podcasts".
Instead, what if you wanted to title a folder yourself. Does Apple not offer the capability yet?
Furthermore, is there a way to categorize videos into an episode format, much like in the "TV Show" section, but in the "Movies" folder. Or can you sync videos into the "Video Podcast" section from itunes with the possibility of being able to create subfolders for view on the ipod.

iPods, unlike iTunes, don't support folders or subfolders for videos or music. So, for now, you'll have to make do with playlists.

Is there a way to create a vertical menu for tablet that stays in place?

I am a novice in web design, and I want to make a vertical menu for a tablet page that stays in place.
It should not scroll, and it has to resize depending on screen size, so it looks the same across different tablet sizes.
Is this possible in Muse? After reading some posts I am getting the feeling this is not possible at all, is that really true?
If it can't be done in Muse, can I do it another way? In Dreamweaver for instance?
The reason I want this is that in my opinion horizontal menu's for tablets are ergonomically bad design, and just plain annoying. You always have to use two hands, lift one hand and then you probably block the view of the screen.
Vertical menu's for tablets just make more sense since they can be made so that you could place them on the side of the screen so it would be possible to navigate with the hand that is holding that side of the tablet.

Yes, I am using the widget.
It seems it is not possible to make the menu stick in tablet design (the pin options are greyed out). Nor is it possible to make the menu scale with screen sizes.
A possible solution would be the ability to make it stretch to 100% screen size, like you can with horizontal objects.
I have noticed though, that, for some reason, in web design it is discouraged or very hard to make things stretch 100% vertically. It seems to cause problems, and I don't understand why.
Since I have started in web design, I have seen many posts of people having design problems, where stretching 100% vertically would be the obvious solution.

I like to manually create lists when I take notes, so is there a way to create a shortcut/hot key for different symbols in the Pages inspector?

Not really a Pages user, but I am trying to make the switch from Word if I can figure out a few ways to customize Pages. I don't want to create a new paragraph style because I rearrange my lists a lot. If what you're looking for is a more flexible way of quickly just including any symbol of your preference when you're taking notes (without establishing a more structured list like picas suggestion) there are a number of ways to use keyboard shortcuts to get a variety of symbols. No that is not possible with Muse alone. YOu can host it on Business Catalyst and upgrade the hosting plan to at least the webMarketing plan for general uploading. If it requires each user to have their own profile etc, then you will need to use BC webApps

Most times, when I try to open my saved stationery document, the body of the message is empty. If the body is visible then the text is not editable.

Also you should be aware that the "Required" property is only processed when the form is submitted to a scripted web page or "mailto:" process.

Is there a way to create a local package repository without technically being a mirror. For example, setting up multiple AL box's on my network and having them grab all the latest packages from one AL box?

What you most likely want is an ABS tree of your own, containing only the PKGBUILDs of those packages which you want to be included in your repository.
You should already have heard of the gensync program. In short, the parameters are the root of PKGBUILDs, sorted in subdirectories (ie. like the ABS tree), the intented name and location of the repository database file, and the directory containing the binary packages.
Let's assume you downloaded the current ABS tree to your hard drive, as well as all matching (same version as in the PKGBUILDs!) packages from a mirror, but you don't want the reiserfsprogs package in your repository. To achieve that, you must remove the /var/abs/base/reiserfsprogs directory, and may optionally remove the binary package, too. Since gensync analyzes the ABS tree you supplied as a parameter, removing the subdirectory of a specific package will cause this very package to not be included in the generated database. Assuming your packages lie in /home/arch/i686/current, your gensync call would look like this:
gensync /var/abs /home/arch/i686/current/current.db.tar.gz /home/arch/i686/current
If there are any discrepancies like
- PKGBUILD, but no matching binary package found
- PKGBUILD and binary package versions do not match
- permission problems (writing the db file must be possible)
gensync will gladly complain.
Otherwise you should find the db file in the place you specified. Keep in mind that the name of the db.tar.gz file must be equal to the repository tag in the pacman.conf to use the repo.
To make sure the db contains the right packages; use
tar -tzf current.db.tar.gz | less
to list the contents. Every package has it's own subdirectory including the metadata, which is rather obvious considering the file's generated from such a structure in the first place.
The binary packages along with a correctly generated db file are all you need. Make the repository directory containing these files available through FTP if local availability doesn't cut it for you, edit your pacman.conf if needed, and use it!
Adding packages works similar; All you need to have is the PKGBUILD in an ABS-like tree (it doesn't have to be the official tree; gensync doesn't care where the files come from. Just stick to one subdirectory per PKGBUILD, and you'll be fine), and the matching packages somewhere else, run gensync with the appropriate directories, and cackle with glee.
