Is there a way to create something like macros in Motion?

We have a project that requires complex animations on many different objects, which are all similar, but require variations and occur at different times, and are looking for the most efficient method to manage it all.
We were wondering if we could generate a complex "behavior" of our own, one made of sub-behaviors, and apply them across the objects.
We also see a tool that allows us to grab any number of keyframes that we can populate in the keyframe editor grid, which would certainly help (the transformation box), except that we don't see a way to constrain the movement left or right on the keyframe editor grid for the whole selection of keyframes. If there is such a way to constrain these keyframes, perhaps we can copy and paste the values from one object to another and slide the whole set of values to different times.
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You need to spend time learning about Particle Emitters and Replicators.  Combined with Behaviors, you can get exactly what I "think" you're looking for.  But, I'm not exactly sure what your source image is, exactly what parameters you want to manipulate.  You can right click on specific parameters in the Inspector to apply a behavior directly to a specific parameter.
