Is there a way to download iOs7 without having 2.9 gbs free?

I've an 8gb iPhone 4 and currently only have around 400mbs free on my phone but if I only had to download the size of the update I could simply delete some songs. However as it is I'd have to delete over 50% of my music. Is there some way I can just download the update file without needing 2.9 gb free? Would it be possible to take all my music off my phone, download iOS7 delete the stock OS and put the music back on the device?
Any answers to the above questions would be greatly appreciated as would any space saving tips!

I'm currently using an iPhone 4 that has just 1.1GB free space. I want to download IOS7, but I can't as it says it requires 3.7GB free space.
I previously tried doing it when I plugged into iTunes, and I clicked update on the computer. However this didn't wory and sent me into recovery mode, meaning I nearly lost all my data. What did I do wrong? Was it because of my lack of space?

If you own any verson of iPhoto '11 then there is a free update to version 9.5.x in the App store
If you own a previous version of iPhto (iPhoto '09 or earlier) then as always an upgrade to a new version (in this case iPhoto '11) is a paid upgrade and you purchase it in the App store
and no OS update/upgrade contains a version of iPhto - it is a seperate program and although it is included as part of every new Mac it is not a free program and never has been sinve version 1 or 2 (I forget when it changes)

Is there a way to download while also having a hard copy of the product?

I just recently bought Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium Education Edition for one Mac. I have another Mac that doesn't have a CD-Rom drive. Is there a way to download the same copy from Adobe online?

The quickest method would be to copy the install files to a USB drive on a computer which does have an optical drive.

I have the same issue with pages/keynote and numbers (iWorks). Came preinstalled when I bought the macbook air back in 2010 (Out of warranty). It crashed a couple of months ago so I took it to Apple but when I got it back the iWorks was no longer there. Have you tried holding the Option key down and then clicking on "Purchases" in the App Store interface? If this works, then you'll see "Install" instead of "Installed" against Lion. Download Lion then -- it will go to your Applications folder -- and do not give your password for installation to execute. You should then have the full Lion installation package in your Applications folder. With "Show Package Contents", in "Shared Support" find InstallESD.dmg. If you burn that to a blank DVD you'll have a Lion Install disc. But since you have a MacBook Air, you could use a (not less than 8 GB capacity) pen drive to store the installation without having to do the full download every time.

I've had my Macbook pro for about 3 1/2 years now. It has worked great until recently. A few months ago I noticed that the fan would always run really fast when I was doing simple tasks. I've just (finally) managed to fix this problem today. I checked the Apple Support forums, and it seems a lot of people are having the same problem.
I rang the Apple Support line, and the very helpful man (thanks Alan!) talked me through it stage by stage. If you go to the following page on the internet:http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5376 it takes you through the process. WARNING - it takes a little time! The main purpose of this is to remove any trace of the old version of iTunes from your computer...
Basically, the first thing you have to do is go to your Program Files and double click on your iTunes folder. There'll be a number of files with the suffix .dll - you need to move all the .dll files from that folder to your desktop - you can simply click and drag them on the desktop..
Next, uninstall iTunes - go to Control Panel / Add/Rempve Programs and when the list comes up remove iTunes. This will take a few minutes... Then reboot your computer.
Next, go back to Control Panel / Add Remove and Remove - IN THIS ORDER -
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot again!
Next, check in your Program Files that the iTunes folder is completely gone - if it has, great: if it hasn't, right-click on the folder and press Shift and Delete - it will say "Are you sure you want to completely remove the folder "iTunes"? Click on "Yes".
Reboot!
Then go to the iTunes download page and voila! It should download iTunes without any problems... well it did for me.... Good luck!

Is there any way to email photos without having to use the themes? I just want to send them from my email the way you used to be able to without all this "new and improved" nonsense.

In the old iPhoto, if I wanted to email pictures, I would select the ones I wanted, have them sent as "smaller" to make them easier to process, and iPhoto would open my mail and I could type the names and I wanted and off they'd go. And, I'd have a copy saved in my "sent" folder.
Now, you have to deal with these ridiculous themes and in order to get a copy of your sent, you have to blind cc yourself. This is definitely not an improvement in my mind.
So I ask, is there any way around this or am I stuck? I really like iPhoto, but this is enough to send my back to Picasa.

Dictation requires an Internet connection in OS X Mountain Lion, so you can't use Dictation without an Internet connection. Instead, use an app like Dragon Dictate.
It's a feature that a lot of users have requested and it's possible that it will be included in future Mac OS X versions
