Is there a way to "embed"/add Office updates to the image before deployment?

Hi,
in my TS I enabled preapp and postapp Updates
So first windows patches are applied. Then computer reboots installs apps.
I just enabled bunch of Office 2013 updates on WSUS. Office patches takes very long time.
Is there a way to embed patches in MDT to save update time.
Never used Packages node in MDT may this thing can help?
How you deal with massive updates?
Windows image can be updated, but Office for example that is installed after Windows deployment...

no I do not install O2013 into the image. It is deployed as post OS install Application.
I really don't see any significant gain of using individual patches in Updates or from WSUS.
BTW, I am still confused about getting MS patches (KBs) beside by WSUS and creating msp from bunch of them.
Could you please briefly describe where and how to download Office 2013 patches for Example from Feb 1 2014 until Sep 15 2014. And then create msp for placing to Updates folder.
Is there something specific for Office 2013 patches that makes it easy to get as a package (one file)?

Is there a way I can resize a canvas AND the images?

I have created several banners in adobe each with several images. The only problem is I have realised the canvas size is wrong (too big) is there a way that I can resize the canvas while resizing the images to fit at the same time? I don't want to have to start all my work from scratch all because I have to resize the canvas. Is there a way I won't have to?

If the proportions are OK Image < Image Size might be an option.

Is there a way to display less thumbnails but keep the images in gallery?

I am creating a photo gallery for my website and have hit a small problem,
I want to display only 6 thumbnails but I want the gallery mode to display all 27.
I have tried overlaying the thumbnails in the ''free form thumbnails'' mode but this seems counter intuitive and possibly buggy.
I am sure there is an easy fix or hack for this but I am a first time user.
I will publish the site on Adobe today after watching some tutorial.

I would like to put a copyright on custom forms I am creating, or not really a copyright but just an acknowldgement of my company as the creator of the form and of the practice which is using the form. Is there a way to embed this in a PDF. Not necessarily in a visible way either. I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro 9. My boss is demanding this so please help!

First you can add the information as a footer in the authoring program.
Next you can add custom meta data fields to include the copyright notice, contact information, and usage restrictions through the "File => Properties => Custom" UI or with JavaScript. Doc Properties info
You can also set the meta daa copyright through the "File => Properties => Description => Additional Metadata..." or with JavaScript. Doc Properties metadata
You can modify these scripts to make them functions that can be accessed by adding an option to an Acrobat menu item or as a tool bar button.

Ha! Perfectly classic case of XY problem! Pointed out by Jongware in some other thread recently - couldn't find an exact link right now...
In short:
    User wants to do X.
    User doesn't know how to do X, but thinks he can fumble his way to a solution if he can just manage to do Y.
    User doesn't know how to do Y either.
    User asks for help with Y.
    Others try to help user with Y, but are confused because Y seems like a strange problem to want to solve.
    After much interaction and wasted time, it finally becomes clear that the user really wants help with X, and that Y wasn't even a suitable solution for X.

Is there a way to simultaneously add text to Comments field for multiple files? I know I can use Option+Comman+i to bring up the Inspector window but it doesn't have a Comments field. For example, in iTunes you can select multiple files and change metadata for any field simultaneously and easily yet when it comes to the Comments field in the Finder, this seems to be missing.
In our production environment, Comments field is important because we place notes about what drive the file originated then when it gets transferred to LTO-6 tape via LTFS, we can quickly trace it in the event we needed to recreate the hard drive. Because tape archiving is linear, we can't store all of the files on the same tape.
We've tried using Apple's Automator but it too seems to not have a way to batch change text in the Comments field. Any help is appreciated.

Hello all.
I have successfully registered for a Jabber account and "registered" the Jabber /MSN Gateway via PSi.
I remembered a long time ago before Tiger I attempted this with iChat, and all my MSN buddies are automatically added into iChat, just like in MSN.
But now when I go online in iChat with my Jabber account, it is empty.
Is there a way to "automatically add" all my MSN buddies??
Also another Question: It is only possible to activate 1 Jabber account at one time?? I have another one with my Gmail buddy, when I activate my Jabber MSN, the Jabber Gmail becomes uncheck...
Is there a way to activate ALL Jabber accounts??

No, it's not the same Jabber server as the last time... but on the 2nd time when I log on to my Jabber account in PSi and make the MSN Gateway active, all my buddies in MSN started to appear in a list in the main window... that did not happen the 1st time round... so maybe the "push" thing you mentioned maybe happening here... but after that I did not have the time to go log on iChat again...

I have several thousand music folders containing m4a music. The files are in the iTunes music folder but are not in the library. iTunes can only add one folder at a time to the library, a time consuming, user hostile restriction. Is there a way to mass add all of the folders to the library using either iTunes or another program?

I'm making the book for children and there is one chapter providing coloring pages. So I wish to attach pdf files that allow users to download it at the end of chapter so that they can print it out. Been searching through discussion, I've found some advice about taking screen snapshot page-by-page > then send the pics from photo album to email. However, I'm wondering if there's a way that make the process easier.

Warehouse that PDF on your own server, then link to it from your book.

You do realise that wiping the disk means that everything on the disk is erased. Everything. Photos, music, emails, ...
So the first piece of advice is to make sure you have a back up of everything.
You need the OS disk to reintsall the operating system. You will use that disk first to erase the drive, then to reinstall the OS.

As for MS Office, you will need the original disk that it came on to reinstall it.
