Is there a way to estimate the storage savings for Hybrid Columnar Compression (HCC) in Oracle Exadata x3-2 machine ? ?

That is correct. Basically, the newest partitions (most likely to be queried) were given the least compression (none) whereas the oldest partitions (unlikely* to be queried as the table contains 7 years' of data) were given the most compression (archive high).
As long as you keep your global stats up to date, it really seems transparent to the end user. I have not listened to a single complaint since this table was HCC'd :)
In all seriousness, end users haven't commented. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that some queries might run faster with HCC, some did in testing. It certainly hasn't caused any problems - it's a rarity: a new technology that worked exactly as it promised on its first try!
It is definitely worth implementing - just make sure the 'range' of data you use for a compression unit is large enough for you to see significant compression.
* without becoming a victim of DBARage: "exactly WHY do you need to get 7 years of data - and HOW are you going to use 4.5Tb of information, precisely? Someone might find they're not able to login to the EDW for more than 2 minutes at one time tomorrow...,etc "

Go to SPRO > MM > Inventory Management and Physical Inventory > Authorization Management > Authorization Check for Storage Locations > Here activate the authorization for storage location under plant
And use authorization object as "M_MSEG_LGO"

Is there any way to estimate an expire/reduce

Hello
We are getting ready to do a one year expire/reduce on our very large and old post offices. Is there any way to estimate how log it would take, or to run it in a
'test mode' that will show how long it would take without cleaning up the mail.
Also when it is ran on the post office, does it lock the entire post office, or just the accounts it is working on at that moment.
Any thoughts will be appeciated.

Or run a full run on a "representative" mailbox and extrapoolate.
No accounts are locked. Even the one being worked on can be used
(although its performance may slightly degrade)

This article explains ways to reduce your iCloud storage: Managing your iCloud storage. In addition to what's mentioned in the article, if you have lots of photos and videos attached to your text messages, these are all included in your iCloud backup and deleting them can sometimes significantly reduce the size of your backup.
If worse comes to worse, back up your phone to your computer rather than iCloud. To do this, connect it to your computer, open iTunes and go to File>Devices>Back Up and to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. This can be used to restore your data when you get your phone back. Click on a .doc file and type Cmnd I to open Get Info. In the Open with: menu select Pages, then click on Change All…

In the sheet :: table :: cell that is going to receive the data, type an equals sign, then click on the cell that the data will come from and press Return.
This will require that you navigate to the origin cell by choosing the proper sheet.

Is there a way to create a preset for drop shadows?

I'm setting up a template for a new brochure that will need drop shadows on every product that is being placed. Is there a way to save a preset for a drop shadow so I need not have to recreate the shadow every time? Also this is being distributed to many people to work on and effects presets would be hugely beneficial-just not sure if that is possible? Although it is Indesign, and they are usually on the up and up for this kind of thing.

The Eyedropper Tool is a quick way of applying the same drop shadow to many objects
But as peter says object styles is a much simplier way.

I have created an executable application that I want to distribute to Mac and Linux users (different applications were created in the respective OS). I was wondering if there is any way to create an installer? I think there probably isn't... If the user were to simply download the Labview Run-time Engine from ni.com would they be able to run the application or is it more complicated than that?

I think Shane tried to say, that it is on the Mac OS X installation DVD, NOT the LabVIEW for Mac OS X installation medium. And that could very well have changed in recent Mac OS X versions as well. They used to have Xcode on it too, but that seems gone as well.

Another thing you can do is to set your Homepage to a website that you have a password logon saved for and use the Master Password feature. It won't completely stop someone else from using the internet but it will slow them down or make it appear they need a password for access.

Thanks for the question. From the information you provided, it sounds like you might be looking for the "Scheduled" view. This view will show all of your reminders that are scheduled in a list. To access the schedule view, click the icon:

Yes, you create in the .epub format with whatever Windows app you want to use for that and then use an Aggregator like SmashWords to upload the book to the iBookstore. Direct upload is only possible from OS X.
