Is there a way to fix the No Card in Camera problem on a T3i without spending $190 plus shipping?
I took some night pictures on Wednesday. Downloaded them to my laptop and replaced the card in the camera and when I tried using the camera the next morning it displayed "NO CARD IN CAMERA". I placed the card back in my laptop and it worked fine. Place it back in the camera and .... "NO CARD IN CAMERA". So I went on line and a few suggestions said to use compressed canned air. I tried it and it still said "NO CARD IN CAMERA". I went and purchased an new SANDISK 16GB card and ..... "NO CARD IN CAMERA". Does anyone have ay suggestions other than sending it in for repair at the cost of $190 plus shipping?
I would write a formal complaint to Canon about the issue and how unhappy you are with the outcome. They just might discount you or refund your money due to your inconvinience and troubles. I highly doubt it, but it is always worth a try. At least you'll get your voice heard. Who knows, maybe they have gotten a lot of those complaints and yours will top it and they will do a recall. In any event, my therory is write them a letter and let them know you aren't happy. NO COMPANY likes to hear that their customers are unhappy cause it can cost them potential sales in the future. Why is there NO way to change the credit card info to pay for ICloud services??
Currently I am being asked for a 3 digit verification number to a credit card that is no longer valid. Why is there no way to change the credit card info on ICloud services?
You change it in iTunes. Go to the iTunes Store. In iTunes 12, click on your name in the toolbar and choose 'Account info'. In previous versions click 'Account' in 'Quick links' on the right. Sign in, and click 'Edit' next to 'Payment information'. Then you can change the card.

Is there any way to fix the window screen grab in 10.5?
For whatever reason, the window capture function (CMD-SHIFT-4, then SPACE) in OS X 10.5 now insists on including the shadow of the window being captured. Given how much documentation I write this is a HUGE setback for me; what used to take a few seconds now takes several minutes since I now have to edit every image in Photoshop to remove the shadow, or use CMD-SHIFT-4 without the SPACE and hope my marquee is accurate.
Is there any way to fix this "improvement" (ahem) in 10.5?

Let's say you have a window that's sized to, say, 400x300, and you want to grab that window. You hit SHIFT-CMD-4, then tap SPACE, then click on the window.
Up until OS X 10.5, you would get an image file on your desktop that, when opened, contained a 400x300 graphic of that window.

Is there a way to fix the Remote Desktop Connection Manager memory usage crashes?
I'm using RDCMan and it has been using a lot of memory and crashing. With 12 connections it uses 1,548,976 K of memory and crashes with an "Unhandled exception" "Not enough storage is available to process this command. (Exception from
HRESULT: 0x80070008)." I love this program and want to know if there's a way to fix this on my end. It seems like other people are not having this issue. I'm running a fresh install of Win7 Ent. I have .NET 3.51 and 4 installed.
Do I need to installed .NET 2.0?

Is there any way to fix the home button on ipod touch?
my home button has today stopped working! is there any way that this can be fixed, either by a repair shop or by me doing some thing? at the moment the only way to get out of an app is to turn off the ipod and then tuirn it back on again - which is getting really tiresome and annoying!!
About 2 mnths ago the ipod was submerged in liquid but oonly for seconds, it has since worked fine (thank god) with no troubles, but like i said, today for some reason the home buttn is no longer doing its job!! please help lol !!Try this previous discussion:

this is not the first time this has happened to me....i'll make some notes out and then i go to look at them and they're gone!...WTH is going on here...? Anyway to fix the problem if it's on my end? Librarian Asst. needs your help! Trying to preserve WWII veteran's interviews presently on cassette. However, on one cassette the voices sound like chipmunks (speed too fast during recording). I know how to transfer the cassette recording onto garageband. I just don't know how to transfer the recording at a slower speed, so that the voices will sound normal. Is there a way? Please help. You could try two things (sorry, I can only point you to the current settings in GB'11, since I no longer have GB '09) but it should be very similar.
The easiest thing would be, if the vocal transformers do work. You can change the pitch of a voice using a "Vocal Transformer" effect. Click the "Edit" tab in the "Info" panel and click an empty brick to add a filter:
If that does not work, try to change the timing of the track. Enable "Follow Tempo&Pitch". If GB '09 does not have "follow tempo & pitch", record your tape directly into a Real Instrument track in GB to record a purple region.
Use the tempo slider in the LED display to lower the tempo, till the recording does sound more natural.

I love the new imac's.. but I would need to upgrade the sound card if I got one. I have a recording studio and i'm using a delta 1010 pci card that is compatible with macs.. I can't see how it would work with an imac.. I'm also a graphic artist and use a mac for all my graphics but it's an old g4 that isn't exactly up to the task of running my studio as well.. I'm sick and tired of my crappy pc giving me grief in the studio and an imac seems like the perfect and affordable price for me.. (i definately need an intel mac so i can run boot camp or parrallels to run a few programs that aren't available on a mac... **** you adobe audition)

(i kinda hope not because it will take me a LONG time to do that)ahhh.. that's what i thought.. just was hoping I was wrong. Getting a new interface is NOT an option because I just got the system I have and am extremly happy with it... I used to work with a firepod but wasn't all that impressed... Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.
