Is there a way to get more storage room on a 16

I have recently bought an ipad air 16gb. I thought this would be perfect for traveling and that I could just download movies for me & my family to watch while on a plane or traveling in the car. I have gone through and deleted most of the apps (games for my daughter and myself) that we probably won't use a lot. I only have 4 movies downloaded and no music and I have 1 more movie I'd like to add. However, when I try to load it, I get a message telling me that I don't have enough storage. Is there any way to get some more storage without having to delete the purchased movies off as well.....please help!!

With an iOS device, the “Other” space in iTunes is used to store things like documents, settings, caches, and a few other important items. If you sync lots of documents to apps like GoodReader, DropCopy, or anything else that reads external files, your storage use can skyrocket. The only two items that a user can change on a MBP are the RAM and HDD (Retinas not included). You have what the unit came with and the only way you will be able to change that is to purchase a MBP with superior graphics
If you are very much into gaming, the I suggest A PC. They are far superior for that type of application to a MBP.

Sorry but no. You have to place the iPod in Recovery Mode and connect to your computer and restore via iTunes.

Sounds like you may need the storage capacity of a Blueray burner and disc to meet your objectives as outlined above. Unfortunately there is very little to no support on most macs for burning such a disc (short of using DVDSP) and then only with limited success.
Assuming you must use a mac and consumer software plus standard 4.7 GB DVD-R media (Verbatim or Maxell for example)I think Roxio Toast may be able to help you but I'm still looking at the exact procedure/s in which to accomplish the above objectives of adding about a dozen movies per menu. The color of an event is dictated by the color of the calendar that it's asigned to.
Click the Calendar button, right click on one of your calendars and choose Get Info.
There you'll find a color drop down menu. If you don't like any of the default color click, click Other and you'll get access to an infinte number of choices.

Is there a way of getting more than 6 chapters per page?

Is there a way of increasing the number of chapters per page? All the themes seem to stick to 6. I have a project with 76 chapters. That means my client will have to wade through 13 pages if they want to choose the 76th chapter! I don't need to show mini movies for each chapter - Just text. I'd like to fit 18-20 chapters on each page. I know I can achieve this with programmes like Adobe Encore - but its such a lot of work to manualy create the chapters.
Any ideas anyone?

You can increase the number of chapters per page, but there is an upper maximum of about 10-12, depending on the theme chosen.
You cannot get 18-20 chapters per page. And, do think about how your finished project will appear. 20 chapters at a time may be very crowded, hard to read the titles and confusing for the viewers.
I did a project that had over 80 chapters, and placed them 10 to a page. That gave room to have nice titles and the video snippets as the marker buttons.
To get the 10 per submenu, you will need to do Cut/Paste/Delete from the submenus. Go ahead and let iDVD create the submenus for you with 6 chapters each. I find it easier to number the chapters first.
Go to the second submenu, that has chapters 7-12. Select chapter 7 and Copy. Go back to the first submenu and Paste it. You will probably have to move the chapters around to accommodate it. Go back to submenu 2 and Delete chapter 7. Then repeat the process for chapters 8, 9, and 10. Don't forget to change the submenus title to reflect which chapters on are which page.
Then go to submenu 3 and copy/paste/delete chapters 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 back to submenu 2. Leave 18 for now or you will lose that submenu. Go to submenu 4 and move chapters 19 and 20 to submenu 3. Now move chapter 18 to submenu 2.
Keep moving the chapters until you get the 10 per page on 8 submenus.
I don't know if DVDSP can have so many chapters per menu, but if you are fairly knowledgeable about such a program, you may want to look into it.

As far as iTunes is concerned you can have 300 episodes, but iWeb does limit you to 50 and the only way round that is to abandon it and use something else to make your podcast, which isn't a particularly convenient option as you would have to recreate everything from scratch.

I suspect the answer is no, but I�m going to ask anyway. I am using an SCXI-1520 strain gauge signal conditioner to monitor strain gauge bridges. Additionally, I�m using an unused input to measure voltage. The SCXI-1520 has an input range of -10 to +10VDC and I am using it to measure 0 to +10VDC. The problem is that the sensors that I�m measuring may have a slight more output than +10VDC. For example, a sensor may output up to +10.1vdc, which is acceptable for the sensor. The problem of course is that the system reads 10.1 as 10.0, which is an error. I could put a resistive voltage divider at the voltage input and scale the numeric output, but that�s a hassle. My NI sales rep would appreciate my purcha

For example, if you specify the voltage input range of the 1520, what happens to the input range of the DAQ card. Is it put on default (maybe +/- 10V)? Do you know a way to manipulate both the input ranges of the DAQ card and scxi 1520?

I have recently run into the issue of not having enough space on my Phone and would like to know if it possible to either download more ram onto the iPhone or if I can turn it in and get a higher gig iPhone for a marked down price. I don't want to have to buy an entire new phone and its the I.O.S updates that take up so much space but to fix problems in the phone I have to update.

I have Sennheiser MM400 headphones...and even at MAX volume, they are still pretty quiet. I've checked the volume limits, and there are none...is there a way to get more volume through them?

The one thing FCP X has over PP CC is that it has many more included effects/transitions, basic things even like star wipes and circular wipes - CC doesn't seem to have a lot of that - does anyone know where to get free plugins from ?

To create a custom effect, I usually start with a preset that is simiilar to the effect I want, apply it to the clip, change/customise as you want, then in the Effect Controls window right-click (Windows) on the Effect and you will see an option to "Save Preset". It will then show up under Presets at the top of the list.
Periodically it is a good idea to back up the presets (as it is any of the settings because the new Sync to Cloud doesn't seem all that reliable or does it even back these up, IDK) by clicking on the panel menu and selecting "Export" option.
