Is there a way to get new messages in mail to pop up on the dock?

On my iMac I use the Mail application to get my e-mails. At work I'm on a PC and use Thunderbird and I have no idea how it was set up but I automatically get an alert on my taskbar where the new e-mail pops up.
Is this possible in the Mail applcation?

Yes, I already have the red circle option on my mail but the sound idea is a good one too. How do you do that? Under preferences in Mail?
What I was wanting is an actual dialogue box to come up at the bottom right of my screen that posts the first few lines of the e-mail and who it's from. That's how my Thunderbird works so just wondered if it could be done with the mail app.

It depends on what you mean by "save".
You can view the text(s) on your iPhone screen, and take a screen shot of your screen by briefly holding the home and on/off buttons together. Then you can save the resulting camera roll photo.

unless apple provides tools and guideline/tutorials, you will have to copy+paste.
but that is very limited because html snippet display your code in an iframe, which means static size, dead zone, can't inject code onto your page and you can't do anything complex.
with real iweb widgets, you can do away with all the above.

You might be able to remove the recent backup from the backups folder and the old one should be usable at that point

Sounds like there is some discrepancies in the tagging in iTunes. See this page for more information.

Is there a way to get voice messages to play through a stereo?

I have a car stereo that I just plug my 5s right into. It's great for Spotify and podcasts and whatnot, but horrible for messaging.
We'd been using Voxer for years for voice messaging, but it refused to play the messages through the stereo, so you'd have to disconnect it while driving, listen to the message, respond, then plug it back in and start everything back up again. Then, of course, whoever you were messaging would respond, and you'd have to repeat the process. The only alternative would be to *not* plug it back in and listen to music until the conversation was over, which isn't always easy to determine if you have talkative friends.
The whole thing would go away, of course, if Voxer would play audio through the lightning port to the stereo. So when the voice messages were announced for the Messages app, I was *pumped*. Woo, no more disconnect/reconnect shuffle just to use voice messages.
But it works the same way -- voice messages come out through the speakerphone on the phone, which is inaudible in my car. Is there any way to redirect the audio through the lightning port?

I am in the planning stages to upgrade our existing Lync 2010 environment to Lync 2013, I also need to change the SIP domain for our Lync users.
If I change the SIP domain, any existing meetings will break unless the meeting organizer goes in and updates them so a new Lync Meeting URL is generated.
To prepare for this, I was looking for a way to get a list of Lync meetings and their organizer so that I can reach out to those meeting organizers and educate them on what needs to happen before I update their Lync SIP address.
Not sure if this information is stored in the RTC/RTCLOCAL SQL instances on the Lync server and if there is a way to query it to return the meeting name, organizer SIP address and start/end of meeting (the dates would be helpful so we know if this meeting
has already happened in which case it can be disregarded, or something that's re-occurring or set to happen in the future in which case it needs attention).

Unless you have jailbroken your iPad, no one has hacked into it. If that isn't enough to allay your fears, put a piece of masking tape over it. There is no way to get rid of the camera, even if you take it to the Apple Store.

I have several people living in my household and connected to my router. I want to know if there is a way to get more specifics from my history log through my wireless connection. I own a cisco linksys modem and router and would like to know how to access that kind of information or if there is a way of doing so. Is there a software you can use to connect to your router done way or any way to use your router to get more information than what is presented through the logs as they are?

I haven't backed it up for a while (2 months?!) and I am not sure that I actually set up Photostream however it's always been on there from what I can tell (icon is there). I've got everything up until the last backup - contacts and messages aren't such an issue for me but the photos mean a lot!!!

If you are logged in to icloud with your same Apple ID. Go to setting on your phone>Photos & Camera and turn ON my Photo Stream.

I work in a printery and I took a job for a customer who had printed all her emails between her and who I can safely assume was her partner. Anyway I thought that would b a sweet present to give my beloved. However we have only ever messaged each other via iPhone 4 and I have absolutely every message we have sent each other since we got our phones. So I was wondering if there is anyway to copy the messages to make this keep sake?? An app or anything??

i'm afraid you can only try copy and paste out those messages 1 by 1 to notes,pages or any similar apps. which sounds troublesome though.
If you would like to print them out, a compatible printer is needed then u can print them out directly from ur iphone through those apps i mentioned.

If you have an iTunes backup, you could restore that. Otherwise, I think you may have lost the messages.
