Is there a way to get videos to play in a PDF on an iPad?

After exporting as a PDF, I can see the video on my computer, but the area is just blank when put on the iPad. I am using CS5 and the video format is .f4v. Thanks

iPad only displays content from PDFs that hails back to before the era of videos in PDFs. It is not possible and likely never will be for the security factor. Adobe is the only vendor I know of that has support for interactive PDFs on any of Apple's platforms including iOS.
Sorry. You can link to something that spawns a youtube, but I don't believe there is a way to have in document multimedia support through any of the iOS applications due to Apple only supporting 1.3 standard pdf's featureset.

Ah, well, then the notes are probably gone. Did you save any of the email from that account on your computer? The notes might be there if you did.

Thanks, but our TV doesn't have one - and it wouldn't help with Bluetooth without additional gear. Is there a solution that would make use of the iPad's bluetooth audio capability directly?

Is there a way to get Audiobook to play chapters continuously?

I have converted several Audiobook's on CD into Itunes and then changed the extension from .m4a to .m4b to get them into the Audiobook folder. I can sync them to my IPhone and they show up in the Audiobook folder on the IPhone. I can listen to Chapter 1 of the book and when I get to the end of the chapter, the book stops and I have to go select Chapter 2 to continue and so on for each Chapter. This is very annoying when I am working out to have to stop to change chapters. Is there a way to make the Chapters continuous? Each Chapter is the lenghth of one CD ~ one hour. I have tried everything I know to do and researched until I can't see. Please help.

Love the screen on the new ipad but I'm as frustrated as ever with Apple not letting me control my photos on my ipad, making their 'post pc' claims completely false in my opinion.
Firstly, new photos I take on my iphone I can only get onto my ipad albums by photo stream which is a compressed image, so I have to still connect to my pc and do it that way. Is there any way around this?
Secondly, any photos from previous albums on my computer added to my ipad via itunes, are fixed - I can't delete or move photos around. I know if you connect a camera to an ipad it imports the photos and gives you full control of them. Is there any viable workaround to get the ipad to treat all my old photos (in albums by folder) as new photos, ie full control to delete, move around in albums etc without creating duplicates?

Do you have a desktop machine running iTunes?
If so then yes, setup home sharing and you can stream anything in your iTunes library to your iPad.
It works good.

Does iTunes see the iPod?
If yes the easiest way is to backup the iPod and restore another iPod, iPhone or iPad from that backup.
To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
That app may use file sharing so if you iTunes sees the iPod get the info via file sharing.

Is there any way to get videos from my Sony Handycam to my MacBook?

I just found out today about how the Handycam (which uses MiniDV) uses a firewire cable, while the MacBook doesn't have a firewire port. Obviously this is a problem. I am exceedingly new to Apple. I need a simple answer as to whether there is ANYTHING I can do, even if roundabout, to get the material I have on Mini-DV tapes onto the MacBook.
Also, if this is going to be a real problem, is there a different type of camcorder I should look at buying instead of my (practically brand new...) Handycam?

If you need Firewire look at the new (early 2009) white Macbook it has Firewire. (and the new NVIDIA graphics.)

Maybe, A USB camcorder.
USB camcorders use formats that use high compression to store the video files thereby lowering quality. This may be good enough to give you "decent footage" if so, then you won't have a problem using a USB camcorder. However I have never been happy with the quality that a USB camcorder provides (they always look grainy to me).
A Firewire miniDV tape cam will give you lossless quality video and is best for any editing purposes (iMovie, Final Cut etc.). So without Firewire make sure you get a chance to try out any USB camcorder before you buy.

Yes, you can import to an external drive by choosing it from the Import Screen.
Once an Event or Project is in iMovie, it is best to move it to the external using iMovie, so the Project does not lose links to the Event.

It sounds like you are using an application to import. You can do it manually.
Start > Computer (on the right) > scroll to the bottom and you will see your iPhone under Portable Devices > Open it and you will see a Drive, open that and there will be a DCIM folder. That is where your photos will be (There may be other folders each holding photos).

You restored your iPhone with iTunes from the backup for your iPod Touch?
If so, photos/videos that were in your iPhone's Camera Roll should have been imported by your computer before doing this. You could then transfer these photos/videos back to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process.
