Sorry, without the Sync Key / Recovery Key your data isn't retrievable. Each individual user is the only one whoever even sees their "key", and it is the encryption / decryption key for that data.

I have lost record of my administrator name and password for my iMac. Is there any way around it to reset it? There are multiple users and each time someone tries to log off, it requests administrator rights, forcing a hard shutdown.

I don't understand why that should be happening. I'm not seeing anything, at least on my 10.6 in SysPrefs>Security, that would account for that.

There's a Microsoft Word app in the market that claims to be capable of creating, saving, and changing Word documents, but is actually just a tutorial. As i was looking through the app store on my iPod, the comments did not show up and the app seemed legitimate. When I opened the app after downloading, it proved to be a series of tutorials on how to use Word. I did not need that. It is not what i was lead to believe i was buying. And it would be great to be reimbursed or at least have the makers of the app correct their comments. Just a disclaimer like "This app contains tutorial videos, not the Word processor software."

You can use Express Lane to contact the iTunes Store people and ask them for a refund.

Telsta dont want to know about apple problems and I have had to open a new apple id as my old one was locked out. Even when I have all of the details it will not let me reset the password. It does not recognise that I registered with my date of birth. It states that it is not linked to my account! If on a Mac, and you elected to save such to your Keychain, you can recover it from your Keychain. Otherwise, you can't.
While you can continue to sync/backup, if you can't remember it & want to remove it, you'll have to delete your existing backups & restore the phone as a new device. Your data will be unrecoverable.
