Is there a way to have ALL modified pictures of an event in only one folder?

Hi guys,
I really need your help here.
I usually modify a lot of pictures and my mac seems to save each and every single photo in a single folder, which is totally annoying as I need to go back and forth all the time.
Can anyone help me?

There are easier ways to access photos in iPhoto, then to reveal them in the Finder. It is risky to use the files in iPhotos "Originals" and "Previews" folders to share them from there. Other programs might modify these files and corrupt your library.
Saver ways are to drag the thumbnails from iPhoto to the Desktop, to use the Media Browser, to export the versions. See Terence Devlin's User Tip:

iPhoto stores the images in its Library by the date of the import. You cannot do much about that.

What randers4 said. HOWEVER, if the photos were taken with a higher resolution camera than the iPhone what you recover will not be as high a resolution as the originals.

Only if y can get the iPod out of recovery mode with the program. Otherwise you will have to restore via iTunes which erases the iPod.

Is there a way to have two different iTunes for two different iPhones on one Windows User account?

Using Windows 7, iphone 4.
I've read as many threads on these forums and as many kb's as I could find, but I sttill can't figure it out. I have 2 iPhones. Let's call them, "wife" and "hubby". I want to have two separate iTunes, one for each of the phones. Hubby is the Windoows User. I don't want to set up a different Windows User for wife.
Hubby was the original iPhone. When I plug it in, iTunes recognized it has Hubby's iPhone. Then I unplug Hubby and close iTunes. I plug in Wife but iTunes stll comes up with Hubby under Devices and syncs Hubby's iTunes to Wife's iphone.
I've tried using the shift key when I open iTunes to set up two separate .itl files to no avail.
Is there a way to have two different iTunes for two different iPhones on one Windows User account?

What happens if you rename the iPhone "Wife" when it shows up as "Hubby", then choose a different set of apps/playlists to sync with? iTunes is supposed to be able to manage multiple devices, each with their own selection of content. Perhaps you "restored" "Wife" with a backup from "Hubby" when you first set things up which is now causing confusion.
To create a new library press and hold down the shift key as you click the icon to start iTunes and keep holding shift until asked to choose or create a library. You need to use the same technique to switch back.

Is there a way to delete all email messages from inbox without checking each one at a time on my iphone 4?

Whenever I want to delete messages in the inbox on my iphone 4, using v4.2.8, I have to manually check each one and then delete them the checked ones as a group. Is there a way to select all and delete them at one time? I love the phone and it is a little complaint, but I often get 50-60 work related messages which I scan then delete because the originals are on my work computer. Thanks.

You have a point, but you're just helping exposing the misery a little more: I actually DO delete the emails in WebMail, very easily. The problem is the sorry state of the Apple email client, that does not replicate those actions on the device, so I have to delete the messages TWICE--once on my computer, with a couple of clicks, and then on my iPhone, with a couple (hundreds) finger gestures.

The issue is that I use a number of folders and unless I manually open each one a sync whilst online, when offline the only emails that are available are those from the last sync, e.g. there is no automatic, background synchronisation of folders not in use.
Ideas?

There are tons of features that make it appealing to myself as a designer, and I really want to get into using it.
There are, however a few things that break up the fluid and humanized experience.
There are many icons, including folder icons, drives, links, etc. that do not scale (at least by default). Is there a way to enable this feature? Or are we doomed to have ultra low-res squashed and padded icons between our images?
As lame as it sounds, this is actually a deal breaker for me. I can't get around how tacky it looks with only some elements scaling.

Thumbs are what they are, small samples of its content. The preview panel is for a better look. You can scale thumbs with the slider bottom right but icons are only scalable to a certain size, possibly due to its design.
The preview only shows a max of 9 files and you can resize this window, but small files don't scale over 100 % view.
Personally I have an organized set up with mostly images and almost no folders. You can use the folder panel to organize and select, there are plenty of ways to set workspaces as you like them with rescaling and reorder.

Mario's post explains, how to arrange in colums in Finder windows.
You can use the same method to arrange the items on the Desktop:
Click on the empty Desktop to select it and to bring the Finder forward, press the key combination ⌘J.
Select "Snap to Grid" and set the spacing and icon size.
Select an option how you want to sort them, e.g. by kind.

Is there a way to have all/ the important files shared on two mac computers without a service like dropbox?

I was looking to get a Mac Mini to use with my Cinema Display so I had something of a desktop computing station. I am concerned though of the ability to have all or at least my word documents, power points, etc., graphic projects, my pdfs, and my non iphoto images transfering between computers. I currently have a macbook air running 10.8.4 and plan to upgrade to Maverics when it comes out. I DO NOT want to use a service like Dropbox. I would much rather prefer a smooth and automatic transfer of the files without any steps to transfer. Please let me know if AND HOW this is possible.

Simple file sharing SHOULD do this on the local network as BDAqua points out. If you want to physcially move files without having to go through uploading and downloading via Dropbox, use FileDrop. It's free and files go directly to the receiving computer through your LAN - in ONE step.

Is there a way toeither have 2 bookmark toolbars [BT] displayed or resize the one [BT] to show more bookmarks?

I use quite a few different boookmarks quite regularly. I would like to display more bookmarks on my bookmark toolbar instead of having to use the drop down meny to the right at the end of the toolbar.

You may shorten names so that more bookmarks fit, or nest folders so that they are themselves drop downs of bookmarks or of other folders. There is an add on that doubles the bookmarks toolbar I believe.
Also if you use newer versions of Firefox there are [[what are app tabs?|app tabs]] and [[what are tab groups?|tab groups]].
You probably are not even on the latest version of 3.6 and should consider updating, preferably to the latest release which will be Firefox 8 !

Is there a way to have all addresses in a card included in a group?

Hi all,
I'd like to create a group that includes ALL the addresses in each card in the group. Is this possible?
I know I could break up each address in a card into separate addresses, but this seems to be an inefficient way to work.

Hello Blumer... Um, so are you saying that you want to be able to make a group on an address card so that you can send a single email to all in the group at one time? That would be fun..My old classmates I had sent a huge email send to- one email to all, at once- and the stupid ISP said hey no spam. I said they are my friends! But- something about the way I did it they said looked spammy... My apologies for not having the answer... I’m currently working on converting a bunch of Flash diagrams to mobile-friendly HTML with Edge Animate and would like to be able to tweak the styling of all of them with a single master CSS file.
While I know it’s possible to overwrite Animate’s inline styles by including external CSS files and using the !important declaration, it would be incredibly handy for use cases like mine to be able to have Animate not use any inline styling and instead save all styling to an external CSS file whose path is referenced clearly in the code snippets that we already have to add to our HTML in order to include the Edge animation files, so the path to the CSS can be quickly and easily changed when moving from test to deployment, etc.
Any chance of this option being added?

I wish it did utilize a.css as opposed to inline as well.

The internet browser keeps opening too Google Maps instad of Apple Maps when I click "get directions" even inside Apps like Starbucks which is supposed to be integrated with Passbook etc. Is there a hack or workaround I can use to forward all info for Apple Maps instead?
