Is there a way to have multiple libraries/iPods on iTunes?

I only have one computer, but two iPods for two different family members. One iPod has its library currently loaded on iTunes. The other library is backed up to the computer from another computer that broke. All of the folders are in the correct order and I have the .xml file. With out another computer, is there another way to update the backed up iPod and library as well? If I were to connect the non-active iPod, that would just erase what is on it and sync the songs from the other library, right?

There is another alternative which seems clunky to me which is to set two separate libraries on the same account and switch between them by starting iTunes with the shif key held down and choosing the other libraries. This is only possible with iTunes7.

Hello,
First post... Be gentle.   I've been using lightroom for my personal photography since I switched to digital photography several years back. I'm currently using a Canon 5DIII, lightroom 5, running on a recent generation IMAC and it all works together very intuitively.   I've tried using a HP laptop in the past when traveling but I find that I have problems when trying to sync up the images between the laptop and the IMAC and seem to always lose something or lose my image tweaks or something... so I've since returned to just waiting until I return from the trips to tweak my photos on the imac.
Ok The question: I've recently started a outdoor gear review site Rugged Individual and as you will see if you check out the site, I'm having a hard time with photo management between all the different authors, and so have some horrible stock pics on the site.   My dream is to be able to have all the collaborating writers and photographers manage the images for their reviews in Lightroom or in a way that I could centrally access them from lightroom. This would make tweaking the images to look consistent SOOOOO much easier.
Is there a way to have 10 or more individuals use the same lighroom database? There would be a mix of different OS's.
I've searched the forums but haven't figured out how to do this effectively.   If there is another product that could be added to lightroom, or a cloud solution that lighroom could leverage, I would be very interested in trying it out.

No need for apprehension Heath.
Unfortunately Lightroom does have certain limitations:
A particular catalog can only be accessed by one instance of Lightroom at one time.
(ie it is not designed for multiple simultaneous access.);
As far as I am aware a catalog cannot be accessed remotely although images can be.
Victoria Brampton has a solution using Dropbox where both the images and the catalog are stored on Dropbox.
Individual users download the catalog to thier workstation and work on images etc and then shut down Lightroom and update the catalog back to Dropbox.
No one else should acessing the catalog or images while one user is using the catalog and images otherwise a conflict will arise and someones work will be erased.

I would like to have 2 separate address books -- one for personal addresses, and another for business. Other than setting up a separate log-in account on my Mac, is there a way to have 2 separate address books? That way, when I look at all the entries, I wouldn't have to scroll through as many.

I would like to have multiple pass codes on my iPad2s. I need a separate pass code for the 'Reset" functions. I want to use one pass code for when the iPad is "booted' or woken up then a different passcode for when the "Reset" funtions are accessed. Is there any way to do this? During my testing I have not seen away to have different pass codes for the different functions.
i am using the iPhine configeraor but have not havd any luck setting up diferent pass ciodes when restrictions is runed on.
What I would really like is to completely disbalte the "Reset" function from within iPhone onfigurator.

Sorry but no, that's not possible, at least not with the current version of iOS. You can have a different passcode for the screen lock and for the Restrictions, but that's all, and the Reset functions cannot be restricted.

Yes, they could with the save web form data feature. You can enable it by going to Options -> Save Web Form Data and check "Enable respondents to save progress". The catch is that once a respondent completes and saves his responses, the link to retrieve his form data will be sent to his email, he may forward over to next person who needs to continue to fill out the form.

Is there a way to have multiple columns of questions on my form?

I'm trying to find if there is a way to have a segment of my form in a two column format because I have a lot of one line questions to ask (of which many will be left blank) and I don't want to overwhelm our clients with an excessive amount of scrolling.
The format I am looking for would be roughly like this:

That's excellent news! Everything else about Forms Central is perfectly intuitive and just what we need. Once the multi-column capability is out, I think we will be set for a long time to come.

In Mountain Lion, I usually have the "sliding panels" screensaver as my default iPhoto screensaver. However,if I use shuffle feature to switch between all the different screensavers, it only lets me use the "sliding panels" photos screensaver, but I'd like to use the "Origami" version as well. MY husband just got a iphone 5s last night, I have an iphone 5. We sharean apple ID. When he backed up to icloud he got all of my pictures and contact numbers. Is there any way to create seperate icloud accounts so when one of us back up we are only backing up our own data??

You both need, & should use different Apple ID's for iCloud, iMessage & FaceTime. You both can continue to use the same Apple ID for iTunes content.
Your husband needs an Apple ID for iMessage, FaceTime & iCloud.
The Apple ID needs to be a verified email address. Once you have an email address, that can be verified, go here & create the ID:
https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/wa/createAppleId
Then on his phone, turn off Contacts, Calendars, etc. for iCloud. You'll be prompted to keep the data or delete it from the phone, then turn off iMessage, FaceTime & delete the iCloud account...Settings>iCloud...scroll down...delete account. Then, setup iCloud using the new Apple ID, turn on iMessage & Facetime.
This will have no affect on the ID you both share for iTunes content, & you can continue to do so.

Is There a Way to Have Multiple Photo-Album Pages?

... specifically by duplicating a current album page. I have an Album page with 13 albums on it, which makes for slow loading.
I was thinking of breaking it into 3 Album pages. The easiest way, it would seem, would be to duplicate the existing Album page twice and then deleting the Albums I didn't want on each page. But Duplicate is grayed out for the Album page. Is starting from scratch the only way to have a 2nd or 3rd album page?
It also doesn't seem to be possible to copy an album so it can pasted on a new Album page.

Just as Cyclosaurus pointed out if you drag a photos page from an existing album page onto the icon of a new, empty album page that photos page will be transferred/moved to the new album page and the captions will be maintained.
Give it a try and if it doesn't do what you expect just quit iWeb without saving any changes.

My fiance and I share our home laptop, he is awaiting his new Mac arrival. During this time I have sold my old laptop and used this one, Toshiba Qosmio. When i plug my iphone 4 into iTunes and try to sync the music, it prompts a window that says if i sync music his, from his iphone 4s will override mine and erase my music. Isn't there a way I can have 2 seperate accounts or just delete his, as he is getting a new one? I have tried uninstalling although it still comes up to his account. TERRIBLY FRUSTRATED!!!! I am new to the iphone, as we were Droid users prior to this. Thank you for any help

Apparently, you cannot do that:
Set up your Apple ID for iCloud and iTunes - Apple Support
If you have made purchases using more than one ID, call Apple Support and state your case. I have heard that they may be able to do something to help you.
I do not know why Apple makes it so easy to create Apple IDs; they suggest creating them left and right, but make it very difficult to undo once a person realizes how bad it is to use multiple Apple IDs for the same purpose, for example, iTunes Store, or App Store purchases.

I have multiple libraries in my itunes folder but none have the correct songs

I click on check available downloads and nothing happens.

Sometimes people run up against this when they have iPhone-only apps in iTunes and try to sync them. They either do or dont get sync'ed over, actually moved I mean, althogh you will get indications that they are present. You won't see their icons, though, in any of the Home pages.

There're lots of programs that can help you doing this. Transfer songs from yoou iPod and bought on iTunes Store is even easier, you just need to click "Transfer Purchases" on the left Source Panel.
