Is there a way to hide todos without due dates?

I have gobs of items without due dates. iCal shows them all! Is there any way of having it hide those?
I am able to hide todos that have a due date in the future (past the view date of the calendar), but I cannot find an option for hiding the masses of chores, list items, things to read, etc. that have no dates on them. Fortunately, they do show up at the bottom of the list, but...
Also, is there a way to hide todos of medium or low priority? Again, I'd like to focus my attention on the most pressing items!

If you'd like Apple to add this as a feature I suggest you send them feedback.

As Ajeet said, for implement your requirement, you can change the data validation on the Due data field.
You can do as the following :
Open the site with SharePoint Designer 2010
Click on Workflows on the left launch, then find ‘Approval-SharePoint 2010’, click on it
On the Forms section, click ‘ReviewApproval_***.xsn’
Then you can find Due Data for All Tasks, and change the validation
In addition, if you create an approval workflow with SharePoint Designer, you can use a specific date, it contains hour and minute.

So true! I have to agree: "It appears Reminders in 10.8 did not get a whole lot of thought put into it regarding how folks actually use reminders."
With Mountain Lion, Reminders no longer resembles a task-management (to-do) app in any way. I used to be able to limp along using it for my to-dos (although it never did accommodate this need well). This upgrade has made Reminders completely unusable for task management.
Once I got over my disappointment, I did some research and decided to try "Things." This application has all the functionality I've been wanting all along. It has a Mac version, an iPhone version, and an iPad version (among others)--and it keeps all devices synched via the Cloud (just not the iCloud ... but who needs the i ?). I wish I'd discovered it years ago. I'm glad now that Mountain Lion put Reminders over the edge; otherwise, I would not have made this discovery.
"Things" (oddly named though it is) comes close to the old Franklin planner software I used to love and haven't been able to find a substitute for. It can import items from Reminders, and it works with Siri. It's a joy to use, and it does everything I want it to do plus some things I never thought of and will use all the time. I downloaded the free trial version last night and within an hour paid for it with gratitude.

iMessages account on the Mac (in the Messages app) stores the iMessages in a Chat.db item
IF you dismiss a conversation from view (mouse over it and use the x that appears) the chat.db will supply the "History" if and when you contact that person again.
However it is worthwhile also creating a back up of some sort.
As well as Time Machine it can also help to highlight the whole Chat (work from the most recent end to the "top" of the conversation to highlight it all.
You can then Print and Save as PDF.
You can back up your iPhone in iTunes.
These can be used to Restore the iPhone back to that time. (you do lose all new things added since the Backup was made.)
There are various tools out there to extract info from iTunes Backups of iOS devices, which might help.
Of course the Messages app on the Mac also has a Settings for Saving on close. (it will Save if you dismiss the chat/Conversation and when the app is closed/Quit)
Over and extended conversation or chat that lasts days or months each Session on the computer is Saved.
Again you can dismiss the chat/conversation form view as you have saved versions (in parts) of the conversation.
(You cannot Save a chat or conversation in Retrospect.)

If you read the Systems Manager manual you can find how to use the short cut to
start your application using the ftcmd or ftexec.
The following is an example of one that I use.

SYSNAME:5000

I'm guessing what really needs to be closed is the launch server window,
right? That's the one that runs as an "MS-DOS" box in the task bar.
The launcher is just the little applet that can run other applications.
As far as we have been able to discover here, the only way to make the
launch server close after the application exits is to code it into your
application. Forte doesn't really want to close it though, because it is
used to fire off any and all application that get run using "ftcmd" or
the LaunchService.RunApplet method call.
If you don't need to use Forte's application distribution mechanism
(i.e. having it create icons in "Forte Applications" for you), you can
do as mentioned earlier and run things as an "ftexec" instead of an
"ftcmd".
It would be nice if Forte let you decide what type of icon you want it
to create when you install an application on a given node.

Try setting FORTE_LAUNCHER_CLOSE=TRUE. This is supposed to
shut down the
launcher after an application is launched. The default is FALSE.
You can hide the console window when launched via FTExec by:
aW : Window = new();
aW.windowsystem.ConsoleWindowDisplayState = DS_HIDDEN;

Not other than parental oversight. On the computer you can implement Parental Controls on a separate user account that they would use. You can then block certain websites. But you cannot do that on the iPad.
You could change your iTunes account such that they cannot access it in order to buy or download apps.

I have an ipod and an iphone. I would like to use both devices for my work and home computer. But it tells me that its installed to another library and will delete all items to sync to itunes. Is there a way to do this without deleting?

- An iPod can only sync with one iTunes library. Yu can however manage music and videos among different computers by:
Using iPhone, iPad, or iPod with multiple computers
- To change syncing computer, move all the media to compute r#2
- Connect the iPod to #2 and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup
Note tha the iPod backup the iTunes makes does not include synced media like apps and music.

Is there any way to hide unread count on Mail for junk or trash folders?

I have a ton of junk messages and messages in my trash folder, and I really don't care to see the unread count (I know, I'm being picky.) I can't find a way to hide the unread count for these folders and it's annoying to right click and select "mark all as read". Is there any way to hide the count automatically, or a filter I can set up? I know that you can adjust what unread count shows up on the dock, but I'm talking about the Mail program itself. Ideas? Use presentation values in prompts for year,half,qtr and month.Example- For year-y is presentation variable in the same way for halfyear-h,qtr-q and month-m.
create four intermediate reports.Example-Report r1 with only year column,r2 with only halfyear column,r3 with qtr column and r4 with month column.
Make column in each report(r1,r2,r3,r4) is equal to their presentation variables(y,h,q,m).
Use four sections.
Section1-Place report that should come when only year.
section2-Place report that should come for year and halfyear.
Section3-Place report that should come for year,halfyear and qtr.
Section4-Place report that should come for year,halfyear,qtr and month.
Apply guided navigation for each section selecting guided navigation-
For section1-
properties->Guided navigation->check this Reference Source Request(Yes)->select report r1(year)->check this Show Section(if request returns row)
In the same way do for remaining section2(select r2),section3(select r3) and section4(select r4)

My iPhone quit working and I couldn’t get it fixed as quickly as I needed to. I bought a used iPhone and started using it normally and downloaded the backup from itunes/icloud. There was a large gap in data where the first iPhone didn’t backup when I thought it had. I have SMS data on both phonesnow and I need them for a court hearing. I have since had the other iPhone repaired and working perfectly. Will downloading a backup wipe out the newer SMS data? No, direct access to manipulating the phone's filesystem is not permitted for 3rd party apps in the iOS. It can't be done without hacking the phone, which you certainly don't want to do. The messages can be combined and viewed on your computer, but not on a single phone.

The process to update your Tom Tom is a big data file, you will need to be connected to a Wi-Fi network for it to download. If will take about an hour.

Sorry but no, there is at present no way to hide or disable the Settings app, nor any of the settings within that app not included in the Restrictions. Schools at this time basically just have to get used to the idea that you have to restore the iPads from time to time, or use one of the MDM solutions that allow you to push out settings remotely.
