Is there a way to import .WMA files?

OR how can I copy them to a format that iTunes recognizes?
Thanks.

What Kuzi describes will work on iTunes for Windows, but will not work on a Mac. On a Mac, you can use the conversion program EasyWMA.
Or if you have access to a Windows machine, take your files there (on a flash drive), let iTunes for Windows convert them, then copy the results to your flash drive and from there to your Mac.

Is there a way to import Raw files into LR catalog ..including..any edits performed in an external raw file editor such as Capture One?
I can import the Raw file successfully but cannot see any edits that were applied in Capture One. Im assuming no but just checking.

Your assumption is correct, Capture One, Lightroom and other third party raw processors have their own proprietary processes and profiles for rendering the raw data.
They do not make permanent changes to the raw data and store the changes to an .xmp file or to a catalog file like Lightroom.

  • Is there a way to import PDF files?

    Hello
I am using RoboHelp HTML Version 5.0.2 and I have encountered problems importing PDF files.  I have tried all the various options but they all loose the original format.  My PDF files can range from one to five pages.  Is there a way to import PDF files?

Check the RoboHelp HTML's help. In the Index, type "import" and select the "PDF files" subentry from the "Importing" entry.
Read the "Importing PDF files" topic; see also the link to "Tips for importing PDF files" in which one of the tips is:
Why is my imported PDF file displaying incorrectly?
PDF files can display certain font families that HTML cannot display. Consequently, in rare instances fonts contained in a PDF document may not convert correctly when imported into HTML.
    Good luck,

  • Is there a way to Import EPA file using SDM?

    Hi,
is there another way to import EPA files in the portal NW04S?
I do not have access to import in the system administration.
    Thanks
    Jean Seguin

Never tried but, i think SDM does take SDA's also. nevertheless,
import EPA into NWDS as a DC, deploy it to the server through NWDS.
snap....i am sorry, its an EPA file. EPA file can be directly imported in the server and does not require to be through SDM.
Go to Security Admin > Transport > Transport Packages > Import .... and follow the instructions there.
use client / server based on where your EPA file is located. and upload and import.

  • I've imported an iPhoto library from a disc to my iPhoto 09 account, but I have to leave the disc in to view the pictures in full screen...  Is there a way to import the files to my hard drive?

I've imported an iPhoto library from a disc to my iPhoto 09 account, but I have to leave the disc in to view the pictures in full screen...  Is there a way to import the files to my hard drive?

I've imported an iPhoto library from a disc to my iPhoto 09 account,
    What exactly did you do?
Are you running a Managed or a Referenced Library?
A Managed Library, is the default setting, and iPhoto copies files into the iPhoto Library when Importing. The files are then stored in the Library package
A Referenced Library is when iPhoto is NOT copying the files into the iPhoto Library when importing because you made a change at iPhoto -> Preferences -> Advanced. The files are then stored where ever you put them and not in the Library package. In this scenario you are responsible for the File Management.

  • Is there some way to import image files directly into an open document?

Is there some way of importing a series of image files, say jpegs, directly into an open document, rather than having to open all the image files and having to drag and drop each individual one into the open document? Specifically, I'm a dentist and I often get digital xray images emailed to me from other offices. But they come as 16 or 18 individual image files and I have to put them into a virtual "xray mount", so I can view them all at once, rather than having to open all the images and toggle among them. So I open a blank document in PS (CS4), then I navigate to the folder containing all the image files I received, select all of them and open them all. Back in PS, I now have to select each image tab and drag the image into the blank "mount" and close the image. That new image then becomes its own layer in the "mount" document. But I have to repeat this 18 times for each patient! I was thinking if there was a way to open the new "mount" document then select all the image files and somehow "import" all the image files directly into document - essentially "automate" the process - that'd save me BOATLOADS of time and aggravation! Anyone out there have any suggestions? Thanks alot!! Dr. G.

Thanks, Curt! When u say "animate" do u mean File | Automate...? Inside Automate, I can't find "Make Frames from Layers"...if you do mean "Animate" I can't find that menu. Zeno replied with a BRILLIANT clarification:
<<Yes, but after you've got all your images as layers in a new document you can simply Select->All Layers and then drag them all to your document in one fell swoop.>>
I tried that and it works like a charm! I select all 20 layers in the new document that "stacking" creates and just drag them all onto the virtual "mount" document. That's it! Then I just move each of these layers around as I would otherwise...it's just 1 click and 1 drag/drop. Unless someone comes up with a way to actually "import" all the images directly into the "mount" document, I think this appears to be the most efficient route to follow.
I really appreciate your guys' assistance! It's so great that you guys monitor the forum and help us out with our Photoshop problems! What an awesome program it is, right?
    Thx again!

  • Is there a way to import .obj files into Motion so that motion can see the object as a 3D object?

I would like to import 3D objects with .obj file extensions into Motion. Is there a plug in or add on that allows you to do this? Is there any way of getting Motion to recognise 3D images? Other programs such as Adobe's After Effects (AE) achieves this easily and allows you to manipulate the image in 3D space.

    state-of-the-art plugin, just awesome!

  • Is there a way to import .AI file with layers attached?

Currently when I open .ai file, all the layers are gone. Is there a way to maintain those layers in Photoshop CS4 or CS5?

Don't get your hopes up, depending on the features from your file you could have some or even all your layers flattened, even if you save as a PSD out of Illustrator. The best way to work between Illustrator and Photoshop is to save your Illustrator file as a native .AI file and then import it as a Smart Object in Photoshop using File->Place or File->Open as Smart Object.

  • Is there a way to import .svg file as objects into motion

Wondering if I can convert .svg images into .molo files in Motion 5.

The best way is to use InkScape (http://inkscape.org)... it's free...  but it runs under X11 (X Windows... basically, unix/linux).
If you don't mind a white background, you can convert anything you can open to PNG (without transparency).  Just open the SVG in firefox, safari or chrome. Expand the window to get the largest version of the image possible and type Command-Shift-4. You'll get a target cursor - click and drag around the area you want to capture. A PNG version will be saved to your desktop. [edit: if the image is small to begin with, in FF you can type command- + to increase the size -- as an svg, it will scale smoothly.]
You can try this service: http://www.fileformat.info/convert/image/svg2pdf.htm (I've never tried it.) Once you get it converted to PDF, it should import into Motion as .pdf.
There may be other free converters around.

  • Is there a way to import large XML files into HANA efficiently are their any data services provided to do this?

    1. Is there a way to import large XML files into HANA efficiently?
    2. Will it process it node by node or the entire file at a time?
    3. Are there any data services provided to do this?
This for a project use case i also have an requirement to process bulk XML files, suggest me to accomplish this task

    Hi Patrick,
I am addressing the similar issue. "Getting data from huge XMLs into Hana."
Using Odata services can we handle huge data (i.e create schema/load into Hana) On-the-fly ?
    In my scenario,
I get a folder of different complex XML files which are to be loaded into Hana database.
Then I gotta transform & cleanse the data.
Can I use oData services to transform and cleanse the data ?
If so, how can I create oData services dynamically ?
    Any help is highly appreciated.
    Thank you.

  • Is there a way to import metadata to wav files in my library?

Is there a way to import metadata to wav files in my library?
I have about 1,500 .wav files that are presently in my iTunes library, but as most of you are aware .wav files have their limitations with regard to how iTunes translates their specific track information. I haven't been archiving using .wav in sometime, I've since switched to another more iTunes friendly format. But, I have these 1,500 files left and I'm desperately trying to find a faster way to log the info.
I've built a data table with all of the track information I want to import. Does anyone know of a good macro, or script that will allow me to import this data so I don't have to manually open each individual .wav file and input this manually?
    Any help would be appreciated!
Note: I've searched the forums, and I've looked at similar posts, but nothing to solve this specific little quandary. If I've somehow overlooked a post, please forgive my repeat post.

I can probably help with this.
I have a script called TagFromFilename that can apply fill in the details that can be extracted from the file path if the .wavs are stored in the layout <Album Artist>\<Album>\[D-]## <Name>[ - <Artist>].<Ext> where D is an optional leading disc number and <Artist> is an optional trailing artist (otherwise both artist and album artist are set to the grandparent folder). You just need to make sure that before you add the tracks to iTunes, that it won't rename the files. You can do this by turning off the Keep option if the files are inside the media folder, or the copy option if the tracks are located outside.
Alternatively I have another script called ExportImport which allows for almost any editable to be adjusted, as long as you can export the internal track IDs of each track and then marry them up with the data you want to import. See Batch Add Comments Tag Solution? for a previous example of how if might be done. I'll gladly go into more detail if you tell me what fields you already have and what identifying information is present.

  • Is there a way to import data in a spreadsheet or text file into Contacts v7?

Is there a way to import data in a spreadsheet or text file into Contacts v7? I have a list of about 500 people and their email addresses in FileMaker Pro that I can export in a number of formats that can be manipulated. Is there any way to get those contacts into Contacts without entering them one at a time?

I have answered my own question. I exported the data from a layout in FileMaker Pro containing the required fields as tab separated text. That produced a .tab file that Contacts wanted nothing to do with. However, when I changed the .tab in the file name to .txt, Contacts accepted it as a file to import (File/Import). I then identified the field in Contacts in which the data in each field in the txt file was to be placed and in it went! The trick was changing .tab to .txt in the name of the file exported by FileMaker Pro.
