Is there a way to load just iTunes with no add ons?

Is there a way to load iTunes only without add ons?

Hi topelovely,
Were you finding that Muse was overwriting the pages with custom code even when none of the following applied?
- The page was changed
- Something used by the page was changed (e.g., styles, swatches, etc.)
- You were using a new version of Muse
Thanks,
Abhishek

  • Is there any way to load just ONE java application at the same time?

I'm using 'jnlp' to load java applications and I want to load just one application at the same time.
Is there any way to do that?
I have been trying to use 'findLoadedClass' but it doesn't work.
Also I've tried to make a file when a application is loading and delete when the application exits.
but it has a problem when the user terminates the application.
    (the file can't be deleted...)
The applications are using socket to receive data, all of them uses same port. That's why I want to load just one application at a time, otherwise they work wrong way.

Do you actually mean you want to make sure that only one instance of a GIVEN Java program is running at one time? If so then search this forum becuse this question comes up frequently.

  • I mistook Sync for a cloud backup, is there a way to get my history, passwords, and add-ons back (other than manually)?

Mistaking Sync for a cloud backup, I synched, and then proceeded to re-install a fresh copy of Windows. Now I have no paired device, no key, and no apparent way of retrieving my history, and passwords. Add-ons are really no big deal, as I can easily find them again, but the history, favorites, and passwords are not so easy. Is there any way for me to retrieve this information on my new install?

Sorry, without the Sync Key / Recovery Key your data isn't retrievable. Each individual user is the only one whoever even sees their "key", and it is the encryption / decryption key for that data.

  • Is there a way to setup 2 iTunes with 1 library?

I have installed Windows Vista on a 2nd drive on my computer. I can either boot into XP or Vista. I've installed iTunes 7 in Vista. What I'd like to do in Vista is access the iTunes database on the XP drive, so that I'm looking at the same library and can make changes to the same library from either OS. However, I can't find a way to point the Vista iTunes to the XP library, nor can I actually find where the XP library file is located.
(BTW, I'm not looking to export the library from XP, and then import into Vista. That would create 2 independent libraries, and I only want one.)
    Thanks.

Thanks. After looking at your link, it turned out to be easier than I expected. The solution is to change Vista's default "Music" folder to be the same as XP's "My Music" folder. I was a little reluctant to do this at first, but what the heck, this is a temporary Vista installation anyway.
The linked post says to do it with Tweakui. In Vista, its easier than that (and there's no Tweakui for Vista anyway). Just go to the "Music" folder, right-click, choose Properties, Location tab, and change the location to the "My Music" folder on the XP drive. Done.
    Thanks for your help.

  • Is there any way to sync my itunes with my Droid RZR

Not sure how this forum works. Can I sync my music from Itunes to my droid RZR? This is probably the 293,486,921st tme this has been asked.

You can put the music on your phone.
Read the instructions for your phone to learn how to put music on it.

  • Is there a way to know resource usage by individual add-ons and plug-ins?

    I tried about:memory but it didn't seem to provide a break-up.

Do an Internet search for the album artwork. I typically just search for the album name to find a wealth of images to choose from.  Find the image you want to use and Copy it.
In iTunes, right-click on the track or multiple tracks and select Get Info.
Paste the image you had copied:
On the Artwork tab if you got info on a single track, or
In the Artwork box in the Multiple Item Information window if you got info on multiple tracks.
    Click OK.

  • Is there a way to downgrade to older versions of add-ons?

I would love to use older, stable versions of several of my add-ons. Can I do this, however?

The newest version of an extension (Tab Mix Plus) does work as well (changed) as an older extension. An older extension works fine even though it is stated that it is not compatible. However, periodically FF updates it. I would like it to remain so that ut is not updated w/o my permission.

  • Is there any way to load music from my computer not purchased from itunes to my iPad?

Is there a way to load music onto my iPad that I did not purchase from iTunes?  I have loaded songs from CDs I purchased onto my computer and want to load them in my iPad.  Is this possible and how is it done?

Is there a way to load music onto my iPad that I did not purchase from iTunes?
    yes.
    how is it done?
the easiest way is to create a playlist with the tunes you want on the iPad and sync that playlist to it.

Sorry Glen, but there is not. And you don't have to upgrade to 10.6 (Snow Leopard).  You need at a minimum of 10.5.8 (Leopard).

  • I have converted a number of songs to mp3 format on my iMac, is there a way to view just the songs that have been converted in iTunes?

I have converted a number of songs to mp3 format on my iMac, is there a way to view just the songs that have been converted in iTunes?

You can view tracks in a given format by selecting to show the Kind column. If you mean you want to determine which specific MP3 tracks you have that were converted by iTunes as opposed to being imported in MP3 format, Get Info on a track and look at the "encoded with" field.

Buy an external optical drive such as the Apple USB SuperDrive that is made specifically for that model.
Use the optical drive of your old MBP to clone the DVDs to USB flash drives, then install from the flash drives.
Connect both computers to your local network and then share the optical drive to install the software.

  • Is there any way i can restore itunes to an earlier time/date, just like system restore? Thanks!

    Hi..
Is there any way i can restore itunes to an earlier date/time? I accidentally lost a previous backup and now the file showing up is not the backup i want? Can i restore itunes to an earlier time like system restore on windows? Thanks!

Actually i had my iphone os upgraded so i made a backup prior.. After the upgrade, instead of restoring data back the iphone made a new backup, overwriting my last backup, so now all my data is gone and when i went to appdata, oldest backup made is the one made after the upgrade! So i am looking for an undo of that backup, kind of a system restore for itunes.. Any suggestions? Thanks!

  • Is there a way to access my iTunes Library, which is stored on a (PC) External Hard Drive, on a MacBook Air (through an Apricorn Universal Hard Drive Adapter), without transferring the music files off of the external hard drive?

Is there a way to access my iTunes Library, which is stored on a (PC) External Hard Drive, on a MacBook Air (through an Apricorn Universal Hard Drive Adapter), without transferring the music files off of the external hard drive?
In other words, because the MacBook Air only has 120 gbs of hard drive space & my old hard drive, from a Lenovo, has 500 gbs of hard drive space (and I have over 120 gbs of music), I’m looking to manage my iTunes music from the external hard drive permanently. Upon attempting to access the iTunes library held on the external hard drive the following message comes up: “The iTunes Library.itl file is locked, on a locked disk, or you do not have write permission for this file”.  Is there a way to get around this?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks so much!

You will have to engage a split library which means you will have to start answering questions on this forum because you will need to learn a lot about how iTunes works in order not that have a big mess at the end of it all.  It also won't be easy when the time comes to relocate it all to different drives.
You can go to advanced preferences and turn off organize media and copy to items to media folder when adding items to library.  Next read about how to selectively consolidate items to the external drive.

"...selected the new tracks directly in iTunes, Control-clicked on the selection, and saw that now you can consolidate selected items." - http://hints.macworld.com/article.php?story=20090919000326840
Remember that when you start iTunes without the external drive turned on iTunes will present you with a bunch of broken links.  If you have automatic downloads enabled with iCloud you may have to turn that off to prevent iTunes from repopulating your drive trying to deal with those "missing" tracks.
If you add tracks in bunches to iTunes and want them to go to different media folders you will need to either add them by holding down the option key while dragging if the desired media folder is not the one set in preferences, or by changing the media folder in preferences.  Changing media folder preferences only applies to new files added, not old ones.
Okay, I am going to stop typing because you might just reply to me, "Oh, okay, forget it," and I don't need the exercise.

  • Is there a way to load in the templates

    Hello all,
    I use CS5.5 on a Mac  OS 10.6.8
I would like to know is there a way to load in All of the Library templates upon start up of Encore.  Its a bit annoying to wait through the load up every time you first click on a different catagory in the Library.  As I am just getting to know Encore, I would like all the catagories loaded in and immediately at my disposal.
    Thank you in advance

The answer to your question is no.
That said, and I don't want to risk my install at the moment to test it, I think you could go to the library directory, create a new folder (category) called "All Templates," copy all the individual files from all the categories into this one, and then select that category - thereafter that category should load.

  • Is there a way I can set iTunes to add files automatically from a folder in my Windows PC?

Is there a way I can set iTunes to add files automatically from a folder in my Windows PC and ensure that it is synced automatically? For example, if I add or modify a file in that folder it should be added to iTunes automatically. At the same time the original files in the folder should not be re-organized. That is can I just point to a music folder in my hard drive and sit back for iTunes to do the rest?
