Is there a way to log what user that executed a task sequence

Our MDT task sequence prompts a user to enter their credentials to access the deployment share and see the task sequences to choose from.
Is this already logged somewhere, or anyone have any clever ways of producing that information?

Garner, in BDD.log look for:
Property OSDJoinAccount is now = <DOMAIN>\<USERNAME> - The user ID to be used to make network connections.
Validate Domain Credentials [<DOMAIN>\<USERNAME>] - The name of the account used to join the domain.
Property DomainAdmin is now = <USERNAME>
Add this in CustomSettings.ini:
;Logging
SLShare=\\<SERVER>\DeploymentShare$\Logs
SLShareDynamicLogging =\\<SERVER>\DeploymentShare$\Logs\%ComputerName%
in appropriate %ComputerName% folder on <SERVER> during OSD will be generated dinamically updated BDD.log
Inspect this with trace32 from System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Toolkit V2.

I have an auditor wanting a screenshot of all users that have acces to configure our firewall, I am unfamiliar with 5.1. Is there a way of running such a report on a paticular device?

There is not report you can run in order to show which users have access to which devices, your best bet is to take a screenshot of your authorization policy which shows the permissions. Then take a screenshot of all the users that are present in the user groups, and then another screenshot the network device group of the firewalls.

Is there a way to get a user login record after sleep?

I know that by opening terminal and typing in "last" (without the quote marks) that it will give me about a 3 week record of who has logged on my computer after shutdowns and restarts.
What I want to know is this:
a) Is there a way to get a user login record after the computer only goes to sleep?
b) is there a way to get the terminal to go back further than just 3 weeks or so for the shutdown/restart records?
Is there software that might do this???

My first question can be explained this way: To get into the computer when it is coming out of sleep you need to type in a password, then it opens to the desktop. When you wake the computer from a sleep, you are not logging in again so there will be
no record of the event as a "login"
My computer possibly could be used by a few other people that have access to my computer password (don't ask why) and I basically want to know if they are signing on when I am away from my desk.
You may want to look at /var/log/asl.log or /var/log/secure.log which contain details of
authentication attempts (which is what you are doing) and failures.
I am not asking why you have multiple people accessing your computer with your password --
but consider setting up separate username, it is a lot easier to manage and you will probably
not be asking questions like this one.

If all you're seeing is bash-3.2# you are logged in as root. Type exit followed by a return. What do you see now?

I guess this was not my question.. This is not what I m asking.. I know there is not a single sql statement in oracle ,which could create multiusers alike UNIX/LINUX(OS LEVEL), Whatever you have written..is simple creating them one by one.
What I am expecting is to have PL/SQL statement which could help us in this regard.

In XI R2 / Webi Report Server, or XI 3.x / Webi Processing Server, is there a way to know what object is being processed ?
For example currently, I can see thru system tool like "Process Explorer" that "wireportserver.exe" has been using a lot of CPU and increasing memory for several minutes. I feel that a report is too large or complicated, but which one ?
In audit database, I can only see events like "document read", but no "begin of refresh process".
So, do I have to wait for the process to be finished to find a "document refreshed" and know what was going on ?
Moreover, at least in R2, if user cancels his refresh request (by closing his browser for example), of if request takes too much time and reaches timeout, no audit event corresponding to this refresh request will ever be recorded. In this case, I have no information at all about what report was making the report server taking so much CPU and RAM. It has just a "read" event, but so have a lot of other reports having been read during the same period of time.
Ideally, I would just have to select the latest "begin of refresh" events without "end of refresh" to know which report are currently being processed. But unfortunately the first one doesn't exist.
Has anyone an idea to get this information anyway ?

I was aware of this instance manager in 3.x.
In R2, I was also able to do the same with a request thru the query manager.
Unfortunately in both versions , I haven't found yet how to find informations on report being refreshed by users directly, and not by job server.
I anyone has an idea...
In R2 I have tested the -trace option of report server : it generates a big amount of lines in trace files, but that seem completely useless : no information on what report is being processed..
I don't understant why this information is so complicated to get. It could be so helpfull...

regular SMS from non iPhone users will not show and you can't send to those phones.

Is There a Way To Show What I've Listened To Recently?

Is there a way to see what I've listened to say in the lat week? I can go to Controls and see recent, I can change my views and see (and sort) when songs were "last played" and I can see the top 25 songs in all history played from my library.
What I'd like to see is what I played in the last week -- what songs I listened to once and which I played over and over. Like the "Top 25 Most Played" but rather "Top 25 Most Played This Week."
Any suggestions?

So-called IMAP email accounts have synchronization in both directions, meaning that if you open an email on one device, it will show open on all other devices as well. By contrast, so-called POP email accounts do not have this two-way sync and result in the results you are seeing, e.g., emails on multiple devices but only showing opened on one device at a time.
Unfortunately, unless you can switch your email to an IMAP account, there isn't much you can do about it.

Is there a way to tell what is actually being passed to DB from PreparedStatement? What I mean by that is that I have a PreparedStatement that is a simple
prepstmt = connection.prepareStatement("Insert into table (col1, col2, col3, .... colx) values (?,?,?....?)");
(there are x ?s)
I precompile this, and later, when there is a connection I call set all the variables
prepstmt.setInt(1, someint); prepstmt.setString(2, "\\'" + somestring + "\\'"); etc... prepstmt.executeUpdate();
I get back an exception thrown by Oracle complaining that one of my values is too large for the column (but doesn't say what column/value).
So I made a string that contains what ought to be the same query
String debug = "Insert into table (col1, col2, col3, .... colx) values (someint,'somestring',etc....someotherint)"; System.out.println(debug);
I give the printed out line directly to Oracle through SQLScratchpad and it works just fine in there and I can confirm the row has been inserted. Nothing is too big.

Hrm, I'm suspecting that perhaps it has to do something with setting CHAR fields. Some of the fields in this table are CHAR but I don't see a call in my PreparedStatement that can set a char, only a String, so that's what I've been using, but it may be that that's not the right thing to do. I'm running Java 1.5.10, and looking through the API there doesn't seem to be anything specifically for char.

Only thing running is our phone network. Maybe its syncing too often with our server? I am not sure how to see that to check. Other than that, the phone is passive. Any suggestions?

Is there a way to tell what folders/images I placed in my trash today? specifically by date of entry into trash?

I inadvertently deleted 6 folders from picasa which also deleted them from my Mac. i have so many items in my trash that I do not know which they were....is there any way to track what items I placed in my trash only on today's date? since I have no clue what they were specifically.

By the way, the items are not deleted until you empty the trash - which you should do occasionally because they all take up room on your hard drive. I don't know of a way to do exactly what you want - you can try looking at your trash in column view and it will show you the last time you modified or opened a file - that might give you an idea.

No way. This is a static learning interaction, no event that could be used eventually. Personally I prefer offering reading material that is engaging over looking for a way to push the learner to look (reading doesn't mean he understands or grabs it) at all the stuff. But that is my teacher's past, if student doesn't read your stuff, something is wrong with the stuff, not with the student.
If you have to force, you'll have to find another way than the accordion interaction .

I am aware that you can load text into a text field and graphics into an image field. However, I would like to load a document containing text and graphics (e.g., MS Word or RTF) into a single field on a PDF form. Is there any way to do this?

I believe that the example of attaching a file that you have provided will solve the problem. I am using LiveCycle Designer, so using the code that is in your example should be no problem. The end-user will use Adobe Reader, so as you mentioned, I will use Acrobat to extend the features so that the form can be used by Reader.

It is part of the PDF AcroForm side of things .....Are you using Reader or Acrobat to fill the form. If Reader then you will have to Reader Extend to make this work ....if Acrobat then you simply need to add some code. I have attached a sample that shows you how to do it if you want it.
