When I zoom in I can read it until it resizes. I have increased the text size of other apps like mail but I can't find a way to make the road numbers larger in the maps app.

I said "such as" for a reason. There are various forms that data resources can take, such as simple name=value text files, but if you are shy of learning xml then you are likely shy of other file forms as well.
Another way would be to have the client purchase Flash and then they can edit the Flash source file themselves.
Unfortunately, to do what you want, either you or the client has to learn/understand the tools that are involved.

If your iPhoto Advanced preference pane is setup like this
all photos you import into the library are COPIED into the library. Thus those photos in the folders outside of iPhoto are redundant and can be deleted to save space on your hard drive. There no need to keep those copies in the folders.
If you do have your advance preferences set as shown above you can access your photos for use outside of iPhoto according to the following User Tip by Terence Devlin which is the best treatise on how to access photos (for use outside of iPhoto): How to Access Files in iPhoto. Otherwise you access your photos from within iPhoto.

If you have the prepaid 3G account, no. The prepaid service, the kind activated directly from the iPad only works on Verizon's own network. You'd need to change to the month-to-month postpaid service to roam on the extended network. Call customer service about changing it over. On iOS these work accross the board, but on OS X they only seem to work on certain applications. Such as TextEdit, but have limited or no use in other applications. They work ok in the URL bar in Safari, but try to use them in a text field (such as the one I'm typing in now) and they don't work. It's especially irritating when I try to log into a website, and I can't use my custom shortcut for my email address. I can easily do this on iOS, but not OS X.

InDesign is the same in Creative Cloud as it is as a standalone producate and it's the same as the one contained in any bundles that include it. The exception being that you have access to both the Mac and PC versions purchasing via the subscription model (Creative Cloud).
I have not created a flip book in InDesign, but if InDesign is capable of doing it, then InDesign as purchased apart of the Creative Cloud, is capable of it.

You could do it with long thin floating text boxes, rotated on the vertical sides.

I work for a school that is building a form right now, and one thing we would like to do is have a list of teachers that can be selected from a drop down menu, effectively allowing the user to choose four or five from a list of twelve. Is there a way to do this? I see checkboxes, but that doesn't seem like a good answer for something that has twelve choices. I rolled through the other examples, and they all were single choice.

Thanks for responding. I've added the list box, but I'm not sure how to select two options that aren't right on top of each other. Is it possible to add check boxes? I've also added a scroll bar to make it easier to browse. I've included a screenshot to show what it looks like.
