Is there a way to output .M4v files from PE 10?

Hi
I have an Apple iPod, it will only take .m4v video files.
I have been converting them after exporting them but I'm having some problems with that.
Some of the files won't play on the iPad even after being converted or at least iTunes say they won't!
Since it thinks they won't it won't upload them to the iPad3.
They will play if I move then there with Dropbox.
But I havne't gotten any ideas from the IPod forum.
Anyway I thought that if I could create them directly in PE that maybe it would solve the problem.

I haven't gotten back to PE yet, i've been trying to figure out how to use iFile and DropBox together.
I can import the videos I have into iFile and they work OK without getting iTunes involved.
I'm not British myself I live in Michigan, but we have been to England and Scotland a number of times, and still have friends there.
These came about because of our dogs and the fact that a friend of ours from this area, married a Scott and moved there,

Lucy grew out of the Lucy voice from Acapela Group and Text Aloud, text to speech software.
One day a friend told me a joke that I really thought was funny.
I decided to animate it and send it to him.
I already had the Lucy voice.
All the sounds on my computer are Lucy, i.e. when I empty the recycle bin she says, "Enough of This Trash", and when I get Mail she says "You've got new mail Mike. can you believe that!" etc.
I think that Lucy is by far the most realistic computer voice that I've ever heard.
Anyway since I wanted to animate the joke I had to create a character to go with the voice, so Lucy was born.
The first one was really simple, just Lucy on a dark background telling the joke.
Now when I do them it's as much for the process as it is for the final result.
I try and do new things with each video, like the sailboat, where I rocked the image from side to side to make it look like the boat was moving.
I work on them on and off until I finish them and I have several in the works now that will get done eventually.
The Lucy about the word vegetarian one I did a couple of days ago in just a few hours, to send to a friend who is somewhat vocal about eating right..
Anyway thanks for the help.

Bridge will do the job. View > Sort > ByType. Then you can choose a group of one type and put the files in a separate folder.

Think you need to send a Image file named ("abc.gif")
now develop a server using ServerSocket and connect it in local IP and any PORT
For example i think ur server is connected in "localhost" and 9000 port.
Now make ur server educated using some commands.
For example:
FileName: <File Name String>
[Means new file is sending by connected client]
FileSize: <File size long or int value>
[ So that ur server can determind about the total length of sender file]
DataModeOpen
[Now your client will send its image data, this command means your client software is sending data]

I've been in the same situation once.
Here's what I did:
Went to Staples and bought an external hard drive enclosure.
Took the hard drive out of the dead computer then installed it in the enclosure.
From there I hooked it up to a working computer via usb port then copied the files that I needed from it.
Assuming that your hard drive is not dead/toasted, then you can recover the data you need through this procedure.

I'm placing a new .oam file in a new website I'm creating in Muse but it previews as a previous .oam file that I used in a previous website. When preview the page on a browser it's fine but it's making it hard to place the .oam file in the correct position. Is there a way to stop this from happening so it previews correctly in Muse?

Is there any way to constantly update files from pc to ipad (Over WiFi)?

I use my iPad as a reader. i.e. I work on documents on my PC, then transfer them to my iPad and use those documents for quick reference on the go. Now, the problem is that I have to keep updating/modify the documents on PC. So every time I have to delete the older documents from my iPad and copy the newer ones. Now that's so time consuming.
A one way (PC to iPad) sync is what I need. I know that this can be done with by lot of apps (dropbox, sugarsync, etc.), however they need internet connectivity. I want to transfer/sync over my home network. On android there are lot of apps to do this while I am yet to find a decent one for the iPad. Can anyone please suggest me one or a workaround?

Look at goodreader or DocsToGo. It will sync files from any file servers. Set up a file server on your machine. ie. share a folder from your machine. Read below for more details.
Don't you have the internet at home? So what's the problem with dropbox etc?

Is there any way to erase all files from a broken macbook without switching it on??

My macbook air died when I stupidly spilled nail polish remover over the keyboard- this was actually about two years ago and for various reasons I've only just gotten round to figuring out the best way to dispose of it. The problem is that it no longer switches on at all (and doesn't charge either), so I have no way of erasing my files and personal information and I'm just not comfortable recycling it knowing there could still be stuff stored on there. This time I disagree, you can't re-download music recorded in iTunes from a CD unless you buy more capacity in the cloud. Besides you can't trust the iPhone to a little child because of the risk of having your favorite music deleted in an instant. A simple lock button would solve this big issue. Are you aware that someone without Pages cannot open the files? And that Pages will only run on OS X? Your best bet is do save the files as PDFs, then just drag the icons into your open email.
