No but there is an alternative for your mac but not your PC.
You could create a second user account and put the adult content into an itunes library there, when you want to watch it open the second user (can be password protected) and start itunes and the library will become accessible from the tv.

You need to find a third-party utility that does that. You should find one at macupdate.com or at the App Store. In order to use OS X you would need to create an encrypted disc image using Disk Utility, then store your folder in the disc image. That way only you can mount the disc image and access the data.

I think its that shiny red delete button that catches his eye when he's bopping around form screen to screen. I just want to disable the delete function function so that he doesnt do that anymore. I know there is the backup but that relies on me knowing when and what he deletes as I dont back up all the time.I heard Android has this feature but wasnt sure if the iPhone did. I have spent some time looking at the forums and on the internet trying to look for a app that can solve my problem. I wish to be able to turn off internet access. I have been using K9 web protection but have found some flaws and bugs. It is a great idea and works well except for the "block any access between(set time) and (set time)" function.
I want to be able to use my computer with out the worry of access to the internet. In my simplistic ideas I need an app that will simply toggle the AirPort function on and off and password protect it. That way when i dont want the distraction in my own life and when i let the rest of the family are playing games the internet is safely protected.
At this time the ethernet connection is not a problem.
I can simply un plug the router however the neighbours around me don't password protect their connections!
If any one knows of a way to solve this or any alternative solutions please let me know.

Yes it does appear to be unsecured, but to be able to surf you need the password that Cisco Connect generates.
So No it's not open, but I think they are still connected to the router, and thats not good either.

Thanks for the response. The file is a good idea, for sure. I also posed this question to NI, and they came back with an interesting solution. Apparently there is a password protect feature for MAX 4.0 as a whole program that is not turned on by default. I am attaching the executable that you should run to access the password feature - it wouldn't let me attach an executable (.exe), so I changed the extension to .zip. Make sure to change the extension back to .exe. This could be a good way to protect settings on machines that could be sensitive to device settings.

Go to InstantSSL and request a free S/MIME signing certificate. It's valid for a year, only for the address you specify. You'll be prompted to set a revocation password, which you'll need if you ever want to stop the key from being trusted. I suggest you save the password as a secure note item in the keychain.

Sorry, but it is not possible to restrict use of specific apps other that the few restrictions provided in the Restrictions settings, not unless the app itself provides some sort of lock. If you don't want your child playing certain games, the only answer is to not load them on the iPad he uses.

Roger not so fast. Check this out: I own a studio with about 8 staff ranging from accounts, editors, creative directors and client services. Sometimes, there's even an intern or an outside contractor present for a period of time. So far we use pages and numbers to handle all the scripts, schedules, shot lists, etc and I'd like to also store some of the admin contents (again, files generated in pages, begging for iCloud), proposals, budgets... They should at the very least, let you password protect a folder.
It's so surprising that Apple doesn't simply extend their now FANTASTIC App/iCloud/Device integration ever so slightly in the direction of the SMALL PRODUCTION HOUSE. I have thouroughly investigated everything from Studiometry to Rule to Evernote. Bloat. Bloat. And more bloat!
Apple while you're at it, offer domain name resolution so we can actually use the email service. Right now half my setup is tangled up with google apps and gmail. I shudder at the thought.
Ps I'd have separate apple accounts for each employee but nothing beats the single integration of iCal and contacts etc.
