Well, the only workaround is if you get along with your neighbors and they're understanding of what you want to accomplish, not to mention they should password protect their wifi access as well. This of course depends on the density of your surrounding neighborhood.
Start with checking the WiFi strength from your phone in their room. If you're getting 4 solid bars it's likely your next door neighbor, and of course weaker would be farther (Help narrow your search a little). Neighbors should password their router anyways since most providers I know put a cap on the amount of data on the plan (I think Comcast is something like 200 Gigs....I know that's a bit and I hardly come close to the mark, but if everyone around me was using my wireless that would all add up quickly). The OP is adressing SSD's in particular. Neither Snow Leopard nor Lion have the ability to secure erase an SSD of a single file by user action. This because SSD's write data in pages, but can only delete in blocks. Secure emptying of the trash on an SSD is no different than a non-secure erase, as the controller will not permit erasure of blocks until the entire block is freed, which is almost never the case with even group file deletion. Erasure is simply the re-writing of the "allocation table" that the pages are no longer in use.

Is there a way to permanently set the sequence in which mailboxes are displayed in the left-most panel of Mail? I can drag and drop the mailboxes into the order I want, and they seem to stick around - at least until I update any of the accounts. The moment I update an accounts prefernces in Preferences, Accounts, the display order is set to the same order that appears on the preferences display.
I have a fairly large number of email accounts, and often have to tweak settings, so it's a bit of a pain to have to reset the order every time I make a change.
This is occurring on both my MBP and my iMac.

I recently left Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion.
Previously, in the side bar of Mail, (the one you make visible using "Show" in a previous post here), I was able to drag and drop any of the Reception mailboxes to the place I wanted to select, to put them in the order I wished, and this order remained until I decide to change it.
This seems not possible any more, or... just for the current session. If I close Mail and reopen, Reception boxes are re-ordered in alphabetic way.
Any way to make my choice permanent as before ???
To make it more clear, ordering my way is possible by drag and dropping for private mailboxes, but not for reception mailboxes associated to different mail accounts, the order is lost once Mail is closed.

You need to create your own default template. Open the blank template & set up your document with the line spacing, margins, headers, etc. as you'd like. Redefine all of the paragraph & character styles to have your desired font. You can set default wrap for any object as well as many other settings. Insert a table, click in it & choose the font, size, color, etc. you want in the fonts panel or format bar. You can do similar changes to inserted objects & text boxes. While you're at it resize the box if you want, set the amount of extra space in the wrap inspector, etc. Delete each text box, object & table after you've set them.
Now, save this document as a template & select that template as default in preferences. If you decide to make any changes to the template down the road, just Save As Template again with the same name & replace the previous version. All of your new documents will have these settings for inserted objects, images & tables. Unfortunately, the settings won't apply to any other templates or "foreign" documents you open with Pages.

Modify the New Document Profile you use the most to reflect what you want it to contain or just make a new document with all the stuff and save it with a distinct name to the New Document Profiles folder in your user profile.

Thanks but I don't think this will help. Like I said, all of my add-ons were working fine and compatible until after running a previous version of FF. I am sure they are still compatible, but they are not working at all.
I even checked my profile folder and all of the extensions' data is all still there but FF5 is just not reading it correctly. (like adblock plus... I see the folder for it but FF5 doesn't have it on the add-on manager page when I run FF5)

No, unless Find My iPod was enabled on it before it was stolen then there isn't any way for you to try and locate and/or remotely wipe it - and that will only work if it's connected to a network and the device hasn't already been wiped and/or Find My iPod disabled on it.
If it was stolen then you should report it to the police. You should also change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc.

I don't know of a quick way, but I might think about it like this.
1) Create a Smart Album in iPhoto that contains only movies.
2) Right-click on each one and choose Reveal in Finder. Make a copy and paste it in a folder where you an find it.
3) Import these movies into iMovie using FILE/IMPORT MOVIE
4) Go back and delete the movies from ipHoto. You can also delete that Finder folder you made as an intermediate step.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

Most items purchsed with your Apple ID can't be permantently deleted from the purchase history. However you can hide them.
