Is there a way to process multiple asynchronous calls individually (instead of all at once)?

I have a function that saves a record using a RPC call (asyncToken with a new responder). When I save an individual record (pressing "s" key), it works fine. However, when I attempt to save multiple records simultaneously (bound to "v" key) (I have a for loop running through the selectedItems in the datagrid), it performs strangely.
For anyone who hasn't experienced this, the successive calls seem to get stacked (literally - i.e. using a stack) and processed at the end of all operations in that block of code (I had trace functions before and after the call that were executed before I saw the result confirming this).
What I would like to do is to simulate multiple AsyncToken usages with a single click, but still have them all occur individually since right now, the function saves the last item in the stack 8 times instead of saving each of the 8 items separately.
OR
Is there another means of RPC using something like "interruptToken" as opposed to asyncToken? (In most other areas I've seen, asynchronous calls are performed as interrupts and dealt with immediately, thats why this procedure confused me for a bit)

The second paragraph you posted is definitely worthwhile - still figuring out some of the inner workings of Flex calls (not just RPC stuff) that I use as I am pretty new to flex.
I don't have the code with me at the moment, but I think I have to use separate calls to the save function. My situation is this (and I plan on updating with code on Monday if necessary):
I have a datagrid that is populated using a single RPC (which is loaded into an arrayCollection first then the datagrid). Changes are made to the datagrid through a copy/paste function that I made, but these changes are only reflected on the datagrid (i.e. not in the dataprovider). When the user hits "save", the selected line (selectedItem actually - i.e. not an index but the object itself) is passed to another class which contains a modified version of my "modify data" function (brings up a dialog after choosing a given line allowing editting/validation of certain fields regarding the selectedItem). This changed version of "modify data" is then called and immediately closed effectively saving this record (without allowing the user to alter fields - so they don't have to hit save twice).
With the copy/paste function, I make all of these changes en masse and then have a loop that goes something like
for each (_object:Object in myDatagrid.selectedItems)
callSaveFunction(this, _object);
which ideally loops through the data and saves each item that has been changed. If there is a way to save all of the data in the datagrid simultaneously, I would appreciate a bit of help there (perhaps dealing with the bindings - right now I have the object I save as the destination and the source is myDatagrid.selectedIndex.[field name]).

By this I mean I have file with 2-12 curve layers - I wanted to 'merge' the curves so that I can end up with a single curve with the attributes of many. Maybe is there a script that would do this?

I don't mean to be critical, but how do you get to a situation where you have 12 successive Curves layers?
The advantage to a Curves layer is that you can adjust and re-adjust it to your heart's content.
If you're habitually adding new Curves layers one over the other, maybe you should re-evaluate your process of working... Perhaps the way you're thinking you should just work at a high bit depth and do repeated Curves operations on the pixels? Or put some time into retraining yourself to not add a new Curves layer but to manipulate the one that's already there. There are some nice new enhancements (e.g., the "finger" subtool that allows you to choose a spot in the image and manipulate that part of the curve).
Again, I'm not trying to criticize you, just looking to see if maybe there's a way to avoid getting to the point where you need to combine Curves in the first place, since there's no direct "Merge Curves" capability, outside of just stamping a set of image and adjustment layers into pixels. For completeness I suppose I should mention how to do that... You can Stamp any combination of visible layers into a single layer of pixels (effectively combining all the Curves layers et. al.) by pressing Control - Shift - Alt - E.

Quicktime pro, is there a way to export multiple movies as a batch? Every time I export more than one at a time they try to export at the simultaineously and their progression slows tremendously. Is there a way to automate the export process so they go 1 by 1? I am embedding watermarks in .mov files of different sizes so while thier export settings are identical there is some discrepency in the format/size of the movies and the placement and size of the watermark "track".

You can have multiple nodes open on a tree, so I guess you could open them all up on a button click.
Another option that might be possible is to use individual Accordians for each section and then use the click function to close the others.

Open your Photos App > Camera Roll > At the top right corner you will see a rectangle with a right arrow, select that. Now you can select as many photos as you want and you can hit the red Delete button on the bottom right.

Try this:
1. Select Mail>File>New Message.
2. Select Mail>Window>Address Panel.
3. Use (command+click) on the desired addressees in the Address Panel to create the list.
4. Click "To:" on the top left of the Address Panel.
The group that you selected will be added to the "To" field in your New Message.

I have a small problem. It's mainly a matter of saving some time. I need to create 51 map tile layers in mapviewer, and I would like to this this at one time. I can go to the admin console-->Management-->Manage Map Tile Layers-->Create, and then I can create one at a time. But it really would be nice to create them all at once!
I tried using the XML mode interface, and I can use the following code to create one map tile layer:

It looks like you are right! Thank you for your help.
I still have a small concern. I looked at the documentation and it reads,
"The configuration settings for a cache instance are stored in the USER_SDO_CACHED_MAPS metadata view. You should normally not manipulate this view directly, but should instead use the MapViewer administration tool, which uses this view to configure map cache instances."
But, I tried inserting records into USER_SDO_CACHED_MAPS and it works, and I can't really see any reason not to directly insert records into this table, so...
Perhaps that warning is there simply because potentially you could screw things up tinkering with the table directly.

A quick search on "security tv screen multiplexor" (without the quotes) yielded millions of pages; several on the first page looked promising if you don't mind composite video.
